Yu Sangwan was emotionally charged, running too fast. She didn’t look at the road ahead and plunged into the artificial lake in the community.
"Wanwan!" Lu Jinxuan didn’t even think, and followed her, jumping down.
Yu Sangwan knew how to swim, but at this mont, she seed bound, sinking continuously. Fortunately, Lu Jinxuan was there, reaching out to grab her waist. The lake’s weeds entangled them, and Lu Jinxuan struggled a bit to carry her ashore.
"Wanwan." Lu Jinxuan, panting, held Yu Sangwan in his arms.
Yu Sangwan kept her eyes tightly shut, motionless.
Lu Jinxuan’s face was somber, scared that sothing might have happened to her. He pinched her jaw and leaned down to give her air. As soon as their lips touched, Yu Sangwan began to cry silently, only tears flowing... showing how much pain was in her heart.
"Wanwan." Lu Jinxuan said, his heart aching, holding her more gently, "Don’t cry... I like you, it’s true!"
Yu Sangwan let him hold her, knowing that struggling was useless.
She looked at the sky with tear-filled eyes; her voice was light but carried a heart-wrenching pain.
"You’re so worried about . The first ti was because the place I rented caught fire, the second ti was when I almost got hit by scaffolding at the construction site, the third ti was when my safety rope malfunctioned, the fourth ti was when I went missing in Antarctica... and this ti, you’re worried I’m dead and you’ll never find the sleeping pills again?"
Lu Jinxuan was choked up, kissing her forehead, "No... that ti with the fire, yes, but later..."
"Ha!" Yu Sangwan interrupted him with a laugh, "What happened later? Later, it’s not that? Lu Jinxuan, do you think such words are convincing?"
Lu Jinxuan was speechless, unable to deny his motives for finding her weren’t entirely sincere.
"Lu Jinxuan." Yu Sangwan called his na, with the tenderness akin to that of lovers.

Yu Sangwan closed her eyes, her voice weakened, "It hurts..."
Lu Jinxuan’s body stiffened, nervously looking at her, afraid to make a move, "Where does it hurt? Did you hit sowhere? Is there a bruise?"
"..." Yu Sangwan sighed deeply, shaking her head weakly, "I want to go ho."
"Go ho?" Lu Jinxuan froze, staring at her in shock, "Return to the An Family?"
Yu Sangwan ignored him, propping herself up with her arms. Lu Jinxuan, worried she might get hurt, didn’t dare stop her. Watching her tremblingly get up, he was imnsely worried, "Wanwan, you... let carry you, okay?"
"..." Yu Sangwan waved her hand, avoiding him.
Lu Jinxuan froze, his face turning dark and ugly.
Yu Sangwan didn’t look at him, with her eyes downcast, soaking wet, and walked forward.
"Wanwan!" Lu Jinxuan opened his arms, pulling her into his embrace, "What’s wrong? Are you going to leave ? Are you, no longer want ?"
"Let go." Yu Sangwan’s voice lacked strength; she now felt even breathing hurt.
"No... I won’t let go." Lu Jinxuan was frightened, afraid that once he released her, she would never belong to him again! Such fear, he had never known before...
"Ha!" Yu Sangwan tilted her head up, tears hanging at the corner of her eyes, "Why won’t you let go? Do you even understand what your feelings for truly are?"
"I know!" Lu Jinxuan firmly answered her, "I like you..."
Yu Sangwan laughed again, "Ha... Lu Jinxuan, I rember asking you back then if you liked ? You replied that you didn’t even know what it ans to like soone! At that ti, I didn’t understand, that such a person could exist in this world? Now I understand, you truly don’t know..."
Her words made Lu Jinxuan increasingly fearful.
Yu Sangwan, filled with tears, seed unable to cry anymore, "Lu Jinxuan, you’re... so heartless!"
"Wanwan, what must I do for you to believe ?" Lu Jinxuan panicked, one of the rare tis in his life he was at a loss, all given to her!
"..." Yu Sangwan shook her head, her mind in chaos, "Yes! What to do? I don’t trust you now, I can’t believe you... Why should I, just a ’sleeping pill’, make Young Master Lu fall in love? I’m so foolish, unexpectedly, this is the reason you relentlessly pursued ! Ha... my fault, I was too self-righteous!"
"No, it’s not like that." Lu Jinxuan lowered his head, his lips cold, landing on her temples, yet unable to stir even the slightest emotion.

A whistle sounded, the community security guards ca; since soone had fallen into the water, they naturally had to check it out.
"The two who fell into the water! The ambulance is here, get on the car... go for a check-up!"
Lu Jinxuan frowned, he wouldn’t go with them. Yu Sangwan looked at Lu Jinxuan, knowing all too well his usual deanor. She shook off his hand, "I’m coming!"
"Wanwan..." Lu Jinxuan couldn’t catch her, "Don’t go!"
Yu Sangwan coldly laughed, "Young Master Lu, President Lu, people like us aren’t the sa as people like you, we... shouldn’t et again!"
After saying this, she followed the community security guard and left.
Lu Jinxuan swung his arm, punching empty air, cursing under his breath, "SHIT!"
As she was about to get on the ambulance, Yu Sangwan suddenly stopped in her tracks.
"Miss?" The paradic asked in confusion, looking at her.
Yu Sangwan awkwardly pulled at the corners of her mouth, "I’m fine, no need to trouble you."
Turning around, she pulled off a towel and walked back.
"Hey, miss... you’d better go for a check-up, the artificial lake isn’t clean!"
Yu Sangwan ignored them, her heart now shattered, ignoring her physical condition? She was wandering in a daze, as if lost.
"Wanwan?" Rapid footsteps approached from behind, An Zihao just got off work, happening upon the disheveled Yu Sangwan.
Yu Sangwan was startled, hurriedly avoiding him, glaring at him in surprise. An Zihao was stunned, "Wanwan, it’s , Zi Hao! What’s wrong? Are you... scared?"
Yu Sangwan’s face was deathly pale as she faced An Zihao, unsure if she felt disappointnt or sorrow, suddenly covering her face.
"Wanwan." An Zihao, flustered, saw her crying and hurriedly searched his pockets for tissues, only to find none, and in his urgency, had to use his sleeve, offering it to her, "Why are you crying? And, you’re soaked like this..."
He said this, taking off his coat to drape over her. His mouth was nervously mumbling, "Feeling better? Warr now? Hurry back, take a bath... don’t catch a cold."
Yu Sangwan said nothing, staring at him in a daze, "Am I really that terrible?"
"What?" An Zihao was startled, shaking his head dumbly, his face flushed with two suspicious red patches, "No, you’re very good."
"Then why?" Yu Sangwan seed to be talking to him or perhaps to herself, "Why has no one ever truly liked ? Am I so terrible, that not a single man around ... is willing to be sincere with ?"
An Zihao stood frozen, "Wanwan..."
Yu Sangwan paid no mind to him, simply shook her head and laughed coldly, "You are, he... is also!"
