He clicked on the Silversteel Dagger and imdiately selected the gift a friend option. After selecting the only na on the list, he hit confirm, and in no ti the Silversteel Dagger materialized directly in her system space.

Aria blinked in surprise.

"Thank you so very much — I promise I’ll pay you back as soon as I have the coins," Aria said softly, her eyes still lowered.

"Don’t ntion it. Now let’s move," Levon said as he pushed forward.

They walked for another five minutes before Levon finally stopped in front of a large tree.

"This is it," Levon said with a steady breath.

"The dungeon?" Aria asked, a little confused.

"No — the area in front of it."

Just as Levon was about to finish his sentence, a giant creature with the fangs of a vampire dropped down from the top of the tree.

Levon knew this dungeon well. It was an A-ranked dungeon, guarded by what they called a bear vampire.

[Creature: Level 7 Vampire Lord.

Note: Possesses intense strength and speed. Feeds on the blood of its prey.]

The creature imdiately lunged at them. Levon instinctively equipped his grave ward pendant and threw himself in the opposite direction, narrowly avoiding the bear’s swipe entirely.

anwhile, Aria planted her feet and tried to block the creature’s attack with her sword, but she was completely overpowered by the sheer force behind it.

It swept her off her feet in one swift motion, and she was sent flying several dozen ters before crashing hard into a nearby tree.

Levon had already seized the opening and hurled his venomous sword directly into the bear’s eye.

The creature scread in pain and recoiled, desperately trying to claw the sword free from its eye socket.

But Levon was far from done. He imdiately leaped into the air with his goblin axe and in one swift motion landed a devastating blow on that sa eye.

The creature buckled and crashed to the ground in pain as the poison began doing its work.

But rather than fall alone, it grabbed Levon tightly in its grip, squeezing hard and doing everything it could to sink its fangs in and draw at least so blood before it finally let go.

anwhile, Aria had already found herself locked in battle with several smaller creatures that looked nearly identical to the one Levon was dealing with.

Aria moved fluidly, swinging her sword and countering each blow with sharp precision.

The Silversteel Dagger was still a standard weapon by most standards, but it allowed her to cut through most of her enemies in a single strike.

Levon kept twisting and shifting his body, making it as difficult as possible for the vampire creature to get a solid grip — at least until the poison had enough ti to take full effect.

And just as Levon had predicted, it was only a matter of ti before the beast finally gave in.

Levon stood up calmly.

[Congratulations — you have just obtained two poison hibiscus.]

Levon dismissed the notification and rushed over to Aria. Together they managed to push back the wave of smaller vampire bears that had been crowding the entrance to the cave.

Before long they had subdued the entire group.

Levon had gained over 3,000 exp from the fight alone, having taken down more than 50 creatures.

But just as they thought it was over, more and more bears began descending from the treetops. They were clearly enraged by the death of their leader and were already forming attack formations.

"Aria — shoot the ones in the trees. I’ll handle the ones on the ground," Levon said as he got straight to work, cutting down bears as fast as they ca.

*’Damn, I really need to awaken — one level 5 thunderball would roast more than half of this entrance,’* he thought, recalling his past life.

Levon kept carving through them, using not just his sword but his legs and fists too. His HP bar had also begun to drop — a clear sign of the toll the fighting was taking on his body.

But Levon wasn’t foolish. He knew the bears were endless. He just needed to break through a full wave and make a run for it.

The mont his chance ca, he called out.

"Aria!" Levon shouted the instant the current wave thinned.

Aria read the signal imdiately, and the two of them sprinted straight into the dungeon before the next wave could build up again.

After all, the real obstacle had been the vampire bear at the entrance. With him gone, the path was clear.

The mont they entered, the dungeon sealed itself shut behind them.

[Congratulations on entering the Chambers of the Vampire King. Complete all tasks within 10 minutes or die.]

[Task one: Find and kill the Vampire King.]

[Task two: Retrieve the ancient artifact of the great Blood God.]

[Dungeon Rank: A]

[Quest tir has officially begun.]

[9:59:58]

In his past life, this was the exact dungeon that had triggered a major event, and Levon was fairly confident that this ti around it should contain at least so poison hibiscus inside — one or two at minimum. The fact that they had already found so at the entrance only confird that it was indeed a dangerous terrain, which was one of the key criteria for the hibiscus to appear.

"How many poison hibiscus did you get from the fight with the bears?" Levon asked calmly as he scanned the area.

Aria looked at him with genuine disbelief.

*Didn’t they have just ten minutes to kill the Vampire King and retrieve an ancient artifact from a blood god? So why on earth was that the first thing he asked? This was a life or death situation,* Aria thought, her mind racing — but she still had to answer. After all, this was the strongest person in the entire village, and he had just handed her a weapon of uncommon grade without a second thought.

Even her bow had been uncommon grade, but the stats on the Silversteel Dagger were on a completely different level.

So trusting him was only the smart thing to do.

"One," Aria said, her voice carrying just a hint of uncertainty about whether that was really what they should be discussing right now.

But Levon’s reply caught her even more off guard than she had bargained for.

"Perfect — that ans there should be more inside the dungeon. What a jackpot," Levon said, his grin spreading wide as he looked over at Aria.

You have got to be kidding , Aria thought as a strange feeling washed over her.

She genuinely could not understand how a dungeon was threatening to end their lives in the next ten minutes, and all he could think about was poison hibiscus.
