It was the following day, and Mei couldn’t help but look at Yuna in awe as she finished her tale yet again. Mei always suspected that there was some huge secret behind why Yuna was the way she was, but she didn’t expect it to be this huge.
‘That certainly explains a few things about Yuna’s unnatural behavior and the way how she occasionally acts. Living for such a long time would have undoubtedly influenced everybody’s personality in some rather unpredictable ways.’
While Mei was still pondering on what Yuna had just told her, Yuna was casually resting her head on one of her hands while the other one was playing with Mei’s hair.
“Well, do you believe me?”
Mei could only roll her eyes at that question. Obviously, that story was somewhat unbelievable, but it was probably the truth no matter how Mei looked at it.
“I believe you.”
Yuna nodded her head in acknowledgment as she patiently waited for Mei to realize another rather important matter.
A few minutes of contemplating later, Mei’s eyes widened in shock as her gaze landed on Yuna.
“Wait a second! If what you just told me is true, wouldn’t that mean that you have lived significantly longer than I did and that all the back and forth my mind went through regarding our relationship was utterly useless?!”
