Tao Hu stared at Duan Chaoge. “I see. I don’t fight women, though. Leng Hu, you do it!”
Leng Hu was the only female member of Tiger Head.
She stepped out at the boss’s order.
Leng Hu wore a short fur coat made from white fox and a plain black skirt. Her face was expressionless, and her eyes were as cold as ice. She was everything her name suggested[1].
As soon as she stepped out, she charged at Chaoge without another word.
She moved as fast as a white fox!
It was so fast!
All anyone could see was a flash of white light, and the next second, Leng Hu was in front of Chaoge.
It was so fast!
She was a Level 6 Spiritual Grandmaster at least.
Chaoge was a Level 5 Spiritual Grandmaster. She was inferior in cultivation ability, but the gap wasn’t unsurpassable.
She was the fearless type, and even a stronger opponent wouldn’t intimidate her.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
They exchanged a few blows before both landed on the ground.
Chaoge stumbled back seven steps, but Leng Hu stopped after three.
She smirked. “You’re too weak to fight me. Die!”
Before Chaoge had time to react, Leng Hu struck out again!

Both spared no effort when they struck.
The crowd all watched with wide open, unblinking eyes.
Most people felt certain that Duan Chaoge was going to be defeated.
They believed that a new Year 1 student could never win against a Year 2 student.
What was more, Duan Chaoge had been losing ground from the very beginning.
Thump!
Chaoge was caught off guard, and Leng Hu stabbed her in the shoulder with her sword.
The pain made Chaoge pale a little and draw in her breath.
Despite her injury, she fought even harder.
As time went by, Chaoge suffered from even more injuries, and the dots of blood looked like plum blossoms on her dress.
There were as many as thirteen of them!
“Duan Chaoge is going to lose…”
“She has so many cuts on her. If she doesn’t stop, she’ll bleed to death.”
“Year 2 students are so much better than us.”
“Duan Chaoge has already defended her honor by withstanding Leng Hu’s attack for so long.”
“That’s right. Her smartest choice now is to stop fighting and apologize.”

Almost everyone agreed that Chaoge was going to lose, and they all thought that she should apologize.
Among the senior Year 1 students, Feng Sang and Ye Yafei were gloating over Chaoge’s predicament.
But —
Duan Chaoge had no intention of doing that.
Even when blood was oozing from her wounds and even when each breath she took pained her, she still went on fighting.
She never believed in giving up!
“Are you going to admit your defeat or not?” Leng Hu’s blade rested on Chaoge’s fair neck.
Chaoge smirked. “Admit my defeat? In your dreams!”
“Die, then!” Leng Hu flipped her sword around and aimed the tip of the blade at Chaoge’s neck.
But before she could give the final blow —
Chaoge caught the sharp blade with both hands!
“Oh god —”
“Look at Duan Chaoge’s hands!”
“She’s holding the blade with her bare hands! Does she want to ruin them?!”
Everyone watched as blood ran down Duan Chaoge’s palms and dripped onto the ground!
Drip, drip —
