The two Spiritual Lords spoke in unison.

The two men looked at each other.

The Level 4 man gestured at the other man.
They each chose a direction and searched two different areas, hoping that they would soon find Feng Wu.
The Level 3 man nodded.

They quietly flitted through the woods without making a sound.
Suddenly, the Level 3 man sensed something amiss, because he noticed that the spiritual essence seemed to be flowing in a certain direction.
Immediately, he turned in that direction.
Soon, he reached an old tree so thick that three people would only just be able to get their arms around it.
The leaves of the old tree had turned yellow, and the bark was covered with dots. It looked like it was going to collapse at any moment.
The Spiritual Lord stopped and stared at a spot in the tree. He narrowed his eyes.
He looked pleased.
He had a speculation, and he was going to prove it.
He touched the tree trunk.
If he had stuck to the plan, he should have called for his Level 4 friend, but the reward of killing Feng Wu all by himself was too generous to resist.
If he could kill her on his own, why share? The man immediately gave up on the idea of waiting for his friend.
