Chapter 2825: New Captain
Chen Ziyun took out a piece of paper and shook it in front of Qiu Zeyu.
It had been signed by Zuo Qingluan herself.
He had been gone for a while because he went to look for her to sign the form.
Zuo Qingluan must have deliberately hidden away because she had been very difficult to locate. In the end, Elder Wu gave Chen Ziyun a hand and made her sign it.
Chen Ziyun didn’t tell the others what he had gone through. He only stared at Qiu Zeyu.
Qiu Zeyu pretended to be pleasantly surprised. “What? Does she have all the paperwork now? So, she’s an official member!
“But…” Qiu Zeyu seemed troubled. “She’s only just joined us and hasn’t been trained. I don’t think she knows the rules. Won’t it be too risky to let her pete?”
He was looking for every excuse to stop Feng Wu.
He knew she was better than him because he hadn’t been able to fight back when she dragged him away.
Because of that, he didn’t want to give Feng Wu any more chances to show her talent.
Chen Ziyun saw through him and was full of disdain.
Was Qiu Zeyu trying to give them trouble now?
Now wasn’t the time for internal strife!
Qiu Zeyu didn’t know who Feng Wu’s patron was, which was why he dared to play such tricks.
Chen Ziyun glanced at Qiu Zeyu, and the look gave Qiu Zeyu the creeps.
What was going on?
“You’re no longer the captain of the junior team,” said Chen Ziyun.
WHAT?!
Qiu Zeyu stared at him in disbelief.
“Captain!” he shouted.
Chen Ziyun ignored him and turned to Feng Wu, “You’ll be the new captain.”
Feng Wu knew how critical the situation was, so she nodded. “No problem.”
Qiu Zeyu was furious and shouted, “I object!”
Chen Ziyun didn’t even look at him. “I wasn’t asking for your opinion.”
Qiu Zeyu was furious.
“Fine! So be it! Since no one wants my opinion, you don’t need me anymore! I quit! I’m leaving the junior team!”
After that, he ripped off his team uniform and threw it on the ground.
No one noticed them at first because they had been talking in low voices.
Now that Qiu Zeyu had raised his voice, everybody was looking at them.
Gongsun Mu and Chu Yun were both on the stage close by.
Gongsun Mu frowned at Chen Ziyun.
Chu Yun glanced at the team and chuckled. “What’s going on with Imperial College? Are you making changes now? The captain of your junior team has just been dismissed, and he’s leaving the team. Gongsun Mu, is that how you’ve been teaching your students? They’re so divided.”
Gongsun Mu felt as if he had been slapped.
Chen Ziyun was staring at Qiu Zeyu. “The petition is about to start. Are you sure you want to do this?”
Of course Qiu Zeyu knew that. He thought the team couldn’t do without him. They wouldn’t value him as much after the petition, and he wouldn’t be able to change Chen Ziyun’s mind then.
At that thought, Qiu Zeyu smirked. “If you remove me from my position, I’ll quit!”
