He didn’t let his astonishment show.
The Peacock King had raised its price.
He had offered the Peacock King a Semi-Divine pill, but the Peacock King was asking Feng Wu for two.
The price had gone up.

Sakiya didn’t know how to react.
Feng Wu told the Peacock King, “I’ll give you four.”

Feng Wu then said, “Plan A: I give you four, and you stay out of this conflict, helping no one.
“Plan B: I give you eight, but you’ll have to stall Mr. Sakiya while my brother and I get away.
“Plan C: I give you ten, and you kill Mr. Sakiya for me.”
Feng Wu smiled at the Peacock King. “Which plan do you prefer?”
The Peacock King was astonished.
She talked about Semi-Divine pills like she was giving out candy!
Sakiya wouldn’t believe it, and nor would the Peacock King.
Feng Wu ignored Sakiya and only talked to the Peacock King. “You don’t need to worry about me having the pills or not. Would I make the offer if I didn’t have them? Just tell me which plan you want to choose.”
Feng Wu was luring the Peacock King into a trap.
When it made a choice, the Dongsang Kingdom wouldn’t trust it anymore.
Any of the three plans would benefit Feng Wu.
She had deliberately set the reward of Plan B so high, just to make the Peacock King choose it.
The Peacock King was tempted.
Four was a sweet deal. It was one pill more than what Sakiya offered, and it wouldn’t put the Peacock King in any danger.
Eight pills sounded irresistible.
Plan C was too difficult. It was out of the question.
The Peacock King couldn’t decide which plan it should choose.
Sakiya looked from the Peacock King to Feng Wu in surprise.
He hardly ever lost control of his emotions, but it was probably because no one had ever been able to surprise him.
He never thought a junior Spiritual King could talk to the Peacock King, let alone fool it.
He regretted letting Feng Wu talk to the Peacock King.
He stopped forward, blocking the Peacock King’s sight.
He then narrowed his eyes. “Young lady, you’re such a surprise.”
Feng Wu thought, “You have no idea.”
A group of people appeared behind Sakiya.
They were all familiar faces.
There were Guchi, Mu Yan, Bu Jingyu, Sakurin and some capable assassins.
Sakiya heard them, but he never took his eyes off Feng Wu.
This girl with the Divine Phoenix Blood had amazed him.
“Do you know what you’re talking about?” Mu Yan stepped forward and sneered at Feng Wu. “Semi-Divine pills aren’t like Supreme pills! You can never produce so many!”
Sakiya had suspected Mu Yan before, and Mu Yan was eager to ingratiate herself with Sakiya.
Feng Wu gave her a curious look.
