Chapter 10: Three Beauties Bathing Together
Five minutes later.
When Jiang Chen returned to the soft sleeper carriage carrying two unopened boxes of evian water and holding a giant, steaming insulated bucket, the entire corridor fell silent.
Boss Wang, who had been causing trouble earlier, was going around borrowing water with an empty teacup. When he saw this scene, his eyeballs nearly popped out.
"Is he crazy? Washing his face with evian water?" soone muttered softly.
Jiang Chen ignored the gazes around him, whether they were jealous or viewing him as an idiot, and walked straight to the door of Compartnt No. 8, gently kicking it with his toe.
The door opened, and Lin Wan was the one who opened it.

At the end of the soft sleeper carriage, there was a lockable independent washroom. Although it wasn't large, it was much cleaner and more spacious than the public toilet.

The three won exchanged glances.

The four of them, carrying bags and parcels, walked through the corridor.

Even though there was a door between them, he could still clearly hear the sounds inside.

Jiang Chen subconsciously held his breath.
For an adult male with normal hearing, this kind of torture—'hearing but not seeing'—was top-tier.
"Splash—"
The sound of water began.
It should have been the sound of a towel soaking in water, followed by the dripping sound as it was wrung out.
"Sister Su, have you unhooked the clasp on your back? Do you need to help?" Chen Man's voice suddenly rose slightly, carrying a hint of teasing. "Tsk tsk, your skin is so fair. You must take good care of yourself normally, right?"
"Shut up. Wipe yourself down," Su Qingge's voice was still cool, but it clearly carried a hint of unsteady breath. "The water is getting a little cold; hurry up."

Jiang Chen's body stiffened. He spun around abruptly, his hand pressing onto the doorknob: "What happened? Are you alright?"
The door panel was thin. His palm rested against it, and he could even feel the vibrations coming from the other side.
"Nothing, nothing!" Lin Wan's flustered voice ca through. "It's just that the floor is a bit slippery, and Manman almost fell and bumped the door."
"I'm fine... I just bumped my arm," Chen Man's voice ca as she sucked in a breath. "Little brother, don't co in! We... we're all undressed!"
Jiang Chen's hand instantly recoiled as if burned.
"Cough, be careful. If the water isn't enough, I can go get more." He awkwardly turned back around and rubbed his nose.
This wasn't guarding a door; this was enduring a trial.
Just then, that annoying Boss Wang appeared out of nowhere.
He was holding an empty bottle, seemingly hoping to try his luck at the sink nearby to collect so water.
Seeing Jiang Chen blocking the way like a guardian deity, Boss Wang paused for a mont, then heard the sound of water and won talking from inside.
Those cloudy little eyes instantly lit up, and a lewd smile spread across his face: "Oh, who's in there? Sounds like quite a few people? Taking a bath?"
As he spoke, he tried to peek inside.
A hand blocked his path.
Jiang Chen was still leaning against the doorfra, not even changing his posture, but his hand firmly blocked Boss Wang's way.
"There are people inside; it's inconvenient." Jiang Chen's voice wasn't loud, but the chill in his tone was colder than the blizzard from last night.
"We're all out traveling; just be accommodating," Boss Wang tried to push Jiang Chen's hand away with a fawning smile. "I'm just here to get so water, not to look at anything else."

Jiang Chen only spoke one word.
He straightened up. His height of one ter eighty-three towered over the overweight Boss Wang by more than half a head.
His eyes, which usually held a gentle smile, were slightly narrowed now, revealing a terrifying fierceness.
Boss Wang felt a chill run down his spine under that gaze.
He recalled how extravagant this kid was when swiping his card for lobster yesterday, and he rembered the boxes of evian water he had carried in just now.
Rich people weren't scary; what was scary were these young fools who were rich and reckless.
"Fine, fine, you're tough," Boss Wang sheepishly retracted his neck, muttering as he walked away, "Having a little money makes you so great, what a jerk."
Jiang Chen leaned back against the doorfra and let out a quiet breath.
