Annihilation Sphere!

Erupting from Arthur’s body was a rapidly expanding omnidirectional sphere of crimson silver energy that consud everything in its path, including the descending beam and the spell circle it erupted from, shattering both and cancelling the attack.

The dragon moved back to avoid being caught in the Annihilation Sphere, but just as he did, Arthur skipped through ti and appeared slightly below him, Lostvayne already swinging upward.

’I need to get this guy out of Nienope’s atmosphere so we don’t damage the planet!’

Split Series: Stellar Split!

A massive slash of destructive energy erupted from Lostvayne, and just when Arthur was sure his attack would catch the dragon off guard, the human appeared between the dragon and his sword, both hands extended forward.

Aspect Manifestation!

Imdiately, the space-ti around Arthur’s slash rippled like water, then fractures spread through it, and Arthur’s attack was absorbed by the fractured spaceti.

’Parallel Path Manipulation! He sent my attack into a parallel tiline!’

Arthur instantly identified his target’s power, pulling back his sword as he condensed temporal and destructive energies around the blade in preparation for Extre Nothingness.

The human imdiately roused his temporal cosmic energy, planning to deflect Arthur’s attack again, and the dragon flashed around Arthur, swinging his spear to attack him from behind.

However, in that mont, the dragon vanished from the human’s back, and a silver flash of light shot out from empty space straight into the human’s back.

"! Shi—!"

The flash of light slamd into his back and imdiately erupted with imnse destructive energy, along with a silver power that lted his skin and flesh like they weren’t even there, allowing the flash to pierce through the gaps in his bones and straight through his heart.

"—GAARGHK!!!"

’Good work, Celestia.’

Arthur’s right hand shot forward in that mont, a beam of purple energy erupting from his sword and piercing through the rippling space-ti in front of him, while his left hand extended backwards and generated a swirling singularity with the powers of space, ti, gravity, and destruction.

Extre Nothingness. AGSD.

The 2 attacks executed simultaneously pierced the parallel path barrier and the chest of the human before him, blasting a huge hole through it, while also redirecting the dragon’s spear path with imnse gravitational force and absorbing all of the cosmic energy surrounding the weapon.

Arthur imdiately spun counter clockwise toward the dragon, swinging his sword and unleashing a thin but nearly imperceptible slash of law energy.

’Extinction Slash!’

The dragon’s pupils instantly dilated, and he flapped his wings, raising his speed so much he seed to teleport as he avoided the slash, reappearing a dozen tres away with a dark expression.

"You...you killed him!"

His eyes widened as he saw Celestia transform into her humanoid form and grab the human’s corpse, shoving it into the portal Arthur created to his subspace.

"Weapon transformation...! You have a Rule Breaker and can still use another Ego Weapon!?"

The dragon couldn’t believe what his eyes were seeing and what his senses were perceiving, and most importantly, the sheer audacity Arthur had shown by killing a Candidate of Ti.

’Why aren’t the restrictions activating?! The Watchers should’ve been alerted by now!’

Unfortunately, no Watcher was going to be alerted to anything because Arthur technically hadn’t broken any Rules of the Candidate Selection.

Candidates of Ti couldn’t attack Candidates of Destruction, and vice versa, and Arthur was a Dual Candidate. He could attack a Ti Candidate without violating the Rules, and he could do the sa to a Destruction Candidate without fear.

However, Arthur was currently releasing so much destructive energy that his Temporal Aspect was being overshadowed, and because of that, the dragon simply couldn’t sense Arthur’s Temporal Aspect.

’Shit. I can’t sense this guy’s Existence Realm. And the destructive energy he’s radiating is weakening the power of my temporal energy.

Just how many other Candidates has this guy killed to empower his Aspect like this? I don’t even know what its Authority is yet...!’

The dragon’s thoughts ran a mile a second, and in the next instant, he dashed straight toward Arthur.

’I need to use my full power!’

He activated several Authorities and swung his spear, tracing multiple trajectories and layering them into a single strike that Arthur couldn’t properly perceive.

Arthur swung Lostvayne in response, but he couldn’t completely block the dragon’s slash, the invisible trajectories tearing lines across his left arm and severing two of his left wings faster than he could pull them back.

"Guh!"

As Arthur groaned in pain, the dragon spun and kicked him, sending him crashing down toward the planet’s surface, before shooting upward into the sky and out of Nienope’s atmosphere within seconds.

’Deactivate Polymorph.’

The dragon instantly took advantage of the ti he’d bought, abandoning his humanoid form and returning to his original draconic one so he could harness his full power as an Interdiate Stage Monarch Realm Existence.

The ti the dragon needed to complete this process was three seconds.

Three seconds in which he was most vulnerable as he was in the midst of transforming his physical body.

Three seconds that were slowed to near cessation by the power of a Temporal Aspect he couldn’t detect.

!

Arthur teleported directly beneath his body, and even as silver blood poured from his left arm, he pulled back Lostvayne, deep purple light swirling around the blade as he muttered.

Soul Devouring Oblivion.

Lostvayne’s true power was unleashed, the soul of the human he’d just killed instantly consud as Arthur thrust the blade straight toward the centre of the dragon’s chest before his scales fully ford.

Extre Nothingness!

A cosmic gate appeared above the dragon’s body as Arthur’s sword unleashed a beam of purple light that collided with the dragon’s chest and slamd it straight into the gate, blasting it out into a random star system Arthur chose and sending it directly into the host red giant star.

GAAAAARR!!!!

The dragon roared loudly as he roused his cosmic energy and tried to protect his dragon heart, while Arthur shouted as he forced Lostvayne deeper with both hands, pushing through the dragon’s resistance as his massive body was buried deeper and deeper into the burning star until it finally crashed into the core.

The instant it did, the red giant’s unstable interior reacted violently, its energy thrown into chaos as blazing currents of destructive heat and pressure erupted in all directions.

But despite the star beginning to destabilise under the sudden foreign force buried in its centre, Arthur didn’t stop and continued pouring even more temporal and destructive energy into Lostvayne.

Extre Nothingness!

The blade erupted with even greater power as Arthur forced it deeper still, overwhelming the dragon’s remaining defences. The dragon’s scales were blasted apart, and his flesh was torn apart, while the power of Arthur’s Unique Authority erased the dragon’s bones to dust.

With one final violent push, Lostvayne’s tip pierced straight into the dragon’s heart, blasting a hole directly through its centre.

The dragon groaned one last ti as the light of life vanished from his eyes, and in that sa mont, the star around Arthur and the corpse began to collapse.

[Level Up.]

You have reached the...

Arthur didn’t pay attention to the collapse that couldn’t inflict enough damage to wound his current self, pulling Lostvayne out of the dragon’s heart and placing his hand there, absorbing the dragon’s Temporal Aspect energy.

He opened his subspace and retrieved the body of the human, absorbing that one as well, both energies funnelling into his soul to raise the power of his Temporal Aspect to a level that was at least half as strong as his Destruction Aspect.

Despite the raging supernova around him, Arthur focused on restraining this new power, bending it to his will.

Only after that did he finally focus on the notifications from the system that had appeared after he killed the dragon.

’I levelled up? Oh well, that doesn’t matter now. I have to get back to Nienope in case there are other enem—’

"I see that you are..."

The sudden voice echoed clearly in Arthur’s ears, even though he was right in the middle of a raging supernova.

"!"

Arthur imdiately turned his head in the direction the sound ca from, but all he saw were a pair of calm blue eyes looking directly at him as the voice from before echoed in his ears again.

"...an irregular Superior Stage High-Tier."

Those words were followed by an instantaneous pressure that made Arthur’s eardrums ring with violent force, the sudden sound hitting with such overwhelming intensity that his hearing distorted instantly.

In that sa instant, without any separation between the two events, an unseen force slamd into his body and blasted him through space so abruptly that the supernova disappeared from view almost imdiately, the surrounding stars stretching into warped streaks as he was flung across the vacuum of space before he could even register what had just happened.

His body smashed into a distant planet’s atmosphere like a falling teor, friction setting him ablaze as fire engulfed him during his descent.

A mont later, he crashed straight into the centre of an active volcano with catastrophic force, the impact triggering an eruption so destructive it obliterated the entire continent almost instantly as molten earth, ash, and superheated destruction consud everything in its path.

The sheer force of that detonation blasted Arthur’s body back out across the planet, sending him hurtling over vast oceans before he finally ca crashing down onto another continent.

Arthur groaned in pain and quickly tried to force himself to his feet, and the instant he rose onto one knee, a fist burst out of the smoke around him, shooting straight toward his face.

He dodged it and instantly retaliated with a right hook, but his attacker dodged and countered with a punch to his chest that sent him flying several kilotres, until his back slamd into a mountain.

His body slid to the ground, and he violently coughed out blood, however, the blood spilling from his body froze mid-air, then flowed back into him like a tape on rewind. The cut across his left arm from the dragon and his damaged wings also reverted to the state they were in before they were inflicted.

Arthur placed his hand on his chest and forced himself back to his feet, looking up at the man in regal robes who had suddenly appeared in the sky above him, a dry laugh slipping from his lips.

"Well, well, well. To think the big fish ca for himself..."

A pair of cold blue eyes looked down on Arthur, six pairs of white-feathered wings lightly fluttering in the air behind their owner, his expression and presence as cold as his eyes and the frosty, chilling energy he radiated.

eting those eyes, Arthur held out his hand and summoned Lostvayne into his grip, then asked, "Shouldn’t you be going after your daughter instead, Roseborn Vladi?"
