Now reading: Chapter 575: Crossover Logs, Log 1: Evan Eris from Godslayer's Legend, a Fantasy novel by michael.

Crossover Log: Evan.

Now then, where do I start?

’Evan Eris’, the boy from the future.

That is the na on his status, but I know that’s not the truth.

The Evan part is correct, but the ’Eris’? Nahh.

From the instant I noticed him, it was clear that there was more to him than he let on. Starting from his absurd concealnt skill that needed a Pseudo-Authority to unravel.

And in the process of doing that, I ended up discovering he was from the future, and from over a thousand years at that!

Later on, I discovered that he hailed from a ti exactly 10,000 years ahead, and was actually sent here by an enemy god.

That’s one hell of a situation.

According to his status, Evan is a Draconic Human, though the truth of his origin lies deeper—his soul is sothing else entirely, sothing even he is unaware of.

It’s a truth concealed so effectively that rely trying to na his race made —a Singularity—get affected by the law of Causality. Whoever is responsible did a good job hiding that truth, preventing even of all people from revealing what he is, which is rather interesting.

I’ve dealt with all kinds of people across various planets and galaxies, but Evan—he’s a strange mix of contradictions.

He says he’s from so future world on the brink of a planetary war, yet he speaks of his life almost casually.

Though he initially claid he was from ’Earth V’, it didn’t take too long to figure he ca from Aidos like Beatrix, which is also interesting considering Aidos is an Intergalactic Hegemon.

Being caught in conflict against invaders is an all-too-familiar story across many worlds, even Apex worlds, so I’m not really surprised.

As for his titles, they tell everything I need to know about how his world sees him. He’s got so rather impressive ones.

’Second of Seven Heroes’, ’Leader of the Seven Heroes’, ’Bane of Invaders’—he seems like a Living Legend in his own ti.

At sixteen, he’s already a Second Lieutenant, a Dragon Slayer, and a noble in Two Nations. I can imagine his na was spoken in awe and fear back in his ti, a hero standing at the centre of world-shaping events.

But here? Here, on Aramis, he’s adrift. He’s a ’Rogue Hero’, cut off from his world, dropped into a ti and place that has no use for his titles, no context for his deeds, and it amuses to watch him adapt.

His personality, though, is perhaps the most peculiar part of all.

The best way I can describe it is ’A literal whirlwind of energy’.

He acts like none of this matters. He’s playful, constantly cracking jokes, trying to make light of everything. Despite always saying things along the lines of ’I can’t believe I’m helping Gozon invade another world’, the truth is that it’s almost as if he doesn’t take any of it seriously—his role, or even his situation here.

Another thing I’ve noticed is his penchant for gas; maybe he’s played gas so much that he’s started treating reality like it’s just part of a ga.

That’s a rather interesting worldview.

Evan’s relationships are another matter. He clearly recognizes Alvey and Artemisia from his future. There’s a subtle admiration and perhaps a bit of respect when he glances at them, though he tries not to show it. Beatrix—she’s more of a curiosity to him.

He didn’t seem too close to her at first, but that tension must have been eased during my three-week blackout. Despite the revelation that he had co to regarding Beatrix’s role in his future, he still acts the sa around her, granted, he did consider killing her for a mont.

As for McEnda III, Evan seems cautious. There’s respect, but also hesitation, as though he’s unsure where McEnda fits into the larger picture. Sigesi is the sa.

In her case, I believe he may have encountered her sohow in the future, given his sword sohow has the sa ability as hers.

And then there’s Jamie—that one just adds a new dynamic to his tangled web of relationships.

His battle power? It’s insane for soone his age. I’d admit that much.

Well, if his power is ’insane’ then his levelling speed has to be on a higher level than that—though I’m not one to talk considering I was a Superior Epic 9 months ago.

The sheer number of skills he has and the individual potency of each one are high, even by my standards.

His Unique Skills really got my attention. His Blessing of Destruction skill that triples his power, his Mystic Eyes of Mimicry and those Prismatic Flas of his that Jamie says are as strong as 7 Unique Skills combined.

That Blessing of Destruction skill gave ideas for my own ’Blessing of Destruction’ Spell. Or rather, didn’t it get made into a Skill?

Oh well, what matters is that its effect is pretty good. If he combines that skill with his limit break and the nurous other skills and titles that boost his stats, it’s not an exaggeration to say he’d be unbeatable in his Existence Realm.

Can’t beat though.

Still on his skills, if there’s anyone I’d like to get, it’s that Lethe skill of his. The Concealnt it offers is good, and I feel just rely having it would increase my comprehension of the law of Concealnt.

Then his weapons...I actually don’t know much about that besides his Sword. According to Celestia, his blade has different abilities that are so unrelated that they normally shouldn’t work on the sa sword.

Knowing that he has Sigesi’s weapon ability, then maybe he’s capable of using his Mystic Eyes of Mimicry on Weapons as well? That’s a pretty broken skill.

He can copy both skills and weapon abilities. Appraising the sword shows that it’s the weapon of a deceased Race Queen, but given it’s the weapon of a Deity, I can’t appraise it completely so I don’t know its original ability.

Besides his copycat sword, I do know he has a whole lot of stuff tucked away inside his inventory. Along with enough strawberries to stuff entire warehouses full.

The guy’s addicted to the stuff.

Lastly, Evan is also a piece of the puzzle I’ve been trying to solve since January. A key piece in the oncoming Nexus Even I’d seen with my Pseudo-Authority of Ti.

The paths had already started shifting even before he arrived, and they’ve only done so faster after he showed up. His presence is surely consolidating the future into sothing inevitable, bound to have profound effects on this world, and perhaps the entire Valmone Universe.

As I look ahead, I can’t help but wonder how things will unfold for Evan, and how he’d end up after I leave this Universe.

Despite all I know about him so far, I won’t lie that there’s a lot about him that’s still a mystery, one I intend to unravel piece by piece.
