Getting Qin Libao’s phone number wasn’t to call him; Xu Xiangbei had another purpose.
Xu Xiangbei called Liu Ningyan: "My dear little sister, can you help locate a phone number and see if this person is in the US or at ho?"
A lovely voice ca through the phone: "No problem, give the number. How does it feel being the new president, are you on cloud nine?"
Xu Xiangbei gave Qin Libao’s phone number to Liu Ningyan, asking her to locate Qin Libao’s phone.
While sipping the coffee Monica had brought, he chatted casually: "Oh, not fun at all, I’m working my fingers to the bone. This is a group company, there are literally hundreds of things every day. A newly built highway on the outskirts of Earth Sea, not yet open, was pitch black.
The sharp roar of car engines, mixed with excited shrieks, pierced the stillness of the night.
A blue wave-like Lamborghini convertible whipped up a whirlwind, speeding down the road, suddenly braking hard with a screech, performing a beautiful drift and coming to a steady stop at the edge of the highway’s broken bridge.
The music from the Lamborghini was enough to get anyone’s blood pumping. In the driver’s seat, Qin Daming held a beer bottle, downing it and yelling as he tossed it off the highway.
The bottle fell into the darkness, taking a while before it shattered with a crack.
In the passenger seat next to Qin Daming sat a beauty with a chic bob cut.
Her bob was dyed a fiery red, her face delicate yet cold, with a captivating cute nose and soft, vivid red lips—all arousing the already intoxicated Qin Daming.
Qin Daming reached out to embrace the beauty’s slender white neck, only to have his hands bound by icy handcuffs.
The cold handcuffs tad Qin Daming’s rising hormones, waking him up suddenly. He stared in shock at the beauty beside him.
He still harbored a wild fantasy: "Beauty, what do you an by this? Do you like SM?"
The beauty was none other than Xu Xiangbei’s bodyguard and security captain, Ah Rong.
Ah Rong ignored Qin Daming, lighting a cigarette, holding a slender lady cigarette between her delicate fingers and elegantly puffing smoke rings.
The smoke rings dissipated into the cold wind as she coldly spoke, making the burly Qin Daming too scared to make a sound again.
Ah Rong held a sharp, gleaming knife, sliding it between Qin Daming’s legs: "Shut up. If you utter another word, I’ll sever your femoral artery, letting you bleed out and die."
Chills rose from Qin Daming’s bones, knowing Ah Rong wasn’t joking, as the cold blade had already pierced his jeans and cut into his flesh, poised against his femoral artery.
In the distance ca the roar of car engines, like thunderclaps at the horizon, and in the blink of an eye, blinding headlights were before them.
Xu Xiangbei got out of the silver Porsche, complaining as he walked: "Why co to this damn place, pitch black and on a half-built highway, aren’t you afraid of falling off? Qin Daming, you’re living recklessly, seeking thrills to the extre."
Xu Xiangbei’s detestable, smirking face appeared before Qin Daming, nearly scaring him off the car.
Qin Daming suddenly realized sothing, his voice trembling: "Xu Xiangbei, we’ve always kept out of each other’s business, what do you intend to do? I might not be able to beat you, but my dad is Qin Libao, and our Zijin Real Estate is one of Earth Sea’s top listed companies. If you dare hit , my dad won’t let you get away with it."
Bang! Before Xu Xiangbei could act, Ah Rong punched Qin Daming, making him spit out blood. In the light, a tooth glittered as it flew out of his mouth.
Though big and burly, Qin Daming, after taking a punch, shrank into the car seat like a terrified small girl, crying: "No, don’t hit , I have no enmity with you. I lost the match, the villa’s yours, what more do you want from ?"
Ah Rong coldly looked at Qin Daming: "Shut up, don’t cry again, or you’ll lose another tooth."
Xu Xiangbei helplessly said: "This isn’t on , I really didn’t want to hit you. It’s Ah Rong who finds you noisy; stay quiet, and you won’t get hit. Be good, listen, to avoid unnecessary pain."
Qin Daming obediently closed his mouth, and Ah Rong and Xu Xiangbei exchanged a smile. Xu Xiangbei smirked, "That’s better, so quiet. If you’d been this obedient earlier, you’d still have your tooth."
