Now reading: Chapter 355 355 Urn? from Gourmet Hunter (HxH Fanfic), a Action novel by GodofChicken.

From the mont the Void appeared, Kuro had imdiately retreated after warning Law and Ging. However, for so reason, the three Void had decided to chase him instead.

Watching the Void pursue Kuro, Ging remarked seriously: "Your Nen Beast is aweso."

The implication was clear… Kuro was capable of many things, including being an excellent decoy.

Law ignored Ging's teasing and said, "I shattered those Void with my Nen Bullets. Their aggro should be on ."

"It's the stone box, right?" Ging reacted quickly and continued the conversation.

"Most likely. But isn't it strange?" Law frowned and said, "It's already incredible that a non-living entity with no physical form has weak action logic, but from their current behavior, do they actually possess cognitive thought?"

"Since they're creatures from the Dark Continent, normal logic doesn't apply. Even their very existence is already beyond comprehension." Ging said.

Law sighed and said, "That's true, but these seven Void are still a potential Calamity. If they reach the mainland, the consequences would be unimaginable."

"If the sky falls, the tallest will hold it up first." Ging raised his hand and pointed to the sky, then said calmly: "V5 will be responsible for solving this threat. When they think they can't solve it, they will naturally seek help from the outside. Who knows, maybe we'll get a chance to get involved."

As long as the situation remained under their control, the V5 would never allow outsiders to interfere, nor would they let any information leak, just like the several Calamities hidden beneath the International Permit Agencies, never to be seen by the public.

Unless the V5 truly believed they needed the help of extraordinary individuals, they might reluctantly open up access.

Ging's reasoning was sound. Law was silent for a mont, then said, "Since the Void are back, we can't stay here any longer. Let's leave the island first."

"I still want to observe them up close." Ging said regretfully.

"Give up that thought, or I guarantee you'll regret it." Law looked at the Void, who was led far away by Kuro.

"You two have ti to chat?! Why aren't you running?" Kuro held the stone box tightly.

He still hadn't realized that this stone box was the reason why Void insisted on chasing him. At this ti, seeing Law and Ging still chatting there calmly, he almost exploded with anger.

"Coming, coming. Lead the Void further away first. We'll regroup at the landing point." Law started walking in a different direction.

"..."

Void was silent for a mont, then decisively changed direction and ran towards Law.

"Cheeky bastard."

Law rolled his eyes. Since the Void weren't particularly fast, outrunning them wasn't an issue.

But at this mont, the ground trembled again, stronger than before, and faint cannon fire echoed from the direction of the port.

"Hmm?"

Law raised his eyebrows and vaguely guessed what might be happening, but it had nothing to do with him.

"Ging, it's ti to go. Once we decipher the text on this thing, we can find the opportunity to co back another ti." Law glanced at Ging.

"Fine."

Ging scratched his head and felt that this was the only way. First, they needed an expert to translate the inscriptions and open the stone box to see what was inside. Only then could they decide their next move.

After making the decision, the two of them rushed in the direction they ca from. Their speed was far beyond Void's reach, so in the blink of an eye, they left Void far behind.

Kuro caught up to Law and said angrily: "You actually tried to use as bait."

"You're not going to die, so what are you afraid of?" Law retorted.

Kuro angrily threw the stone box towards Law and said, "It's easy for you to say that. Why don't you give Void a hug and experience what it feels like?"

Law hastily took the stone box and said, "With how slow those things are, can you get caught twice?"

"Well, yeah, but..."

Kuro suddenly stopped talking halfway, and looked back with Ging and Law in tacit understanding.

"Oh, co on!"

Kuro was furious, because he saw that the three Void were using the thrust generated by the gushing poisonous mist to float in the air and fly towards them. Their speed wasn't slow, likely because their bodies weighed almost nothing.

Perhaps it was because of the stone box, but the Void's performance this ti was obviously completely different from the last ti he encountered them.

'What the hell is inside this stone box?'

Law thought about it and quickened his pace, leaving Kuro and Ging behind in an instant.

If it was a situation that could be resolved with Nen, Ging wouldn't have needed to run, but this was not the case with Void, so he could temporarily retreat.

Seeing Law speed up, he also speeded up and followed after him.

In just a few seconds, Kuro saw that the two had pulled ahead by nearly a hundred ters.

He turned around to look at Void who was chasing him, and slapped his head suddenly. He realized that he could have just gotten into Law's palm just now, 'Damn it, it was all because of that stone box!'

Realizing this, he suddenly shifted into his normal panther form, fell from the air, and ran quickly on the ground. His speed imdiately increased, gradually closing the distance with Law.

Even though Void changed its way of movent to increase its speed, they still couldn't catch up with Law and Ging.

It wasn't because its speed was not fast enough, but because those two were the best among Nen Users, so it was normal that they couldn't catch up.

After maintaining their speed for about six or seven hours, the two finally slowed down.

"You have good stamina," Ging praised.

Law curled his lips. After Biscuit's hellish training, he naturally had good stamina and endurance.

When the two slowed down, Kuro finally caught up with them. Without saying a word, he went straight into the tattoo at the back of Law's hand.

He would not co out again until they reached the shore.

After a long sprint, they finally returned to the coastline where they had first landed.

"Co out."

Law called out Kuro.

As soon as Kuro ca out, even without Law saying anything, he spit out the mast ship and placed it on the ground beside them.

Just as Law was about to lift the ship to carry it into the sea, he saw Ging raised the small mast ship before him, and then... threw it out directly.

The ship traced a graceful arc through the sky, then passed over the jagged spikes protruding from the shore and landed safely on the water.

Because Ging used his Aura to cover the hull before throwing it out, the mast ship was safe and sound after falling into the sea. This is also the application of the Emission System.

Ging is not an Emitter, he just uses Nen Ability according to the situation and is not limited to a single Nen Category.

"Let's go."

Ging took a running start, then leapt into the air like a bird, following the sa trajectory as the ship before landing neatly on its deck.

Law resisted the urge to facepalm at Ging's reckless stunt, 'Did he even think about what to do if the ship was damaged?'

After the two boarded the ship, they set sail and left Demon Island.

Eleven days later, the mast ship docked. Law and Ging got off the ship, went straight to the airport, and transferred to an airship to go to the Hunter Association.

In the eyes of ordinary people, the stone box is not much different from an urn, but in the eyes of Nen Users, it was an unmistakably conspicuous presence.

It is so conspicuous that no matter how it is packaged, it cannot hide the fluctuation of Post-Mortem Nen, which is too strong.

As long as Law holds the stone box, Ging cannot get too close to him, otherwise, he will be attacked.

A few days later, the airship arrived at its destination, and the two imdiately made their way to the Hunter Association.

To avoid drawing attention from other Nen Users, Law wanted to get to his room as quickly as possible so he could absorb the Post-Mortem Nen from the stone box.

But unfortunately...

"Hi there~"

Pariston stood not far from the elevator entrance, smiling brightly at Law and Ging as if he'd been waiting for them.

"Yo." Ging raised his hand and greeted back.

'Yo your head!'

If Ging didn't respond, Law would've just ignored Pariston. It didn't matter if his acting was exaggerated, at least he could stop Pariston from bothering him.

"Wow, what a stylish urn."

Pariston looked at the stone box in Law's hand in amazent, as if he didn't see the Post-Mortem Nen on the stone box.
