Tonpa called and inford Law about the current situation and outco at the hospital.

From Tonpa's account, Law learned that three assassins had co, two were ultimately killed, one escaped, and the four Pro Hunters responsible for security had unfortunately died.

In truth, no one could have imagined that anyone would be so reckless, dare to cause trouble in this city, and even target Netero.

The reason for arranging four bodyguards wasn't specifically for such prevention.

If not for Linne and Shachmono happening to visit Netero, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

Although the other side failed this ti, they would definitely return.

One thing made Law particularly concerned.

If this was sent by Beyond, then with Pariston acting as an insider, how could it be so careless?

If it was that man, he would never give Netero a chance to catch his breath.

Even with Tonpa and Linne present, they probably shouldn't have been able to stop it.

Law felt puzzled, but he would investigate and clarify it afterward.

Setting aside his doubts for now, he asked about Shachmono and Linne's condition.

"Shachmono is receiving treatnt, should be fine. When are you coming back?" Tonpa said.

"I leave tomorrow, fastest will be tomorrow night."

"Ah, I'm worried the assassins will return."

"They will co again, but there's no need to worry. This was the assassins' only chance, and they failed."

"Can you guarantee nothing will go wrong?"

"Of course. Because Knov is there. Even without Knov, knowing soone is targeting Netero, are the Association and the Zodiacs just for show?"

Hearing this, Tonpa thought it made sense and chuckled, "So, my role as insurance isn't necessary anymore?"

He had felt from the start that Law was making a mountain out of a molehill, even suspecting that Law, seeing him too idle, had just found an excuse to make him stay put at the hospital.

Who knew assassins would actually co? After all, when Law had assigned him, it was also said rather casually.

If soone else had told him to do this, he would have started slacking off long ago.

Precisely because it was Law, he didn't dare treat it lightly. After all, during the Dark Continent expedition, he had grown accustod to Law's way of doing things.

"Yeah, thanks for your hard work during this ti. After this, you can go wherever you want, do whatever you like," Law said with a slight smile.

"I don't have any plans for now, but there really are a few places I'd like to see," Tonpa's tone carried a hint of excitent.

"Oh? Where?"

"I choose to keep it a secret."

"..."

Law was speechless for a mont, then suddenly asked, "Interested in a second voyage?"

"To the Dark Continent?" Tonpa countered.

"Yeah."

Tonpa stood in the corridor, looking at the rain outside the window, falling into silence.

Hearing no response from the other end of the line for a long ti, Law also remained silent, just listening to Tonpa's steady breathing.

'A second journey to the Dark Continent...'

Having been there once, he knew that kind of environnt was truly not ant for humans.

Tonpa's heart was leaning towards refusal, but for so reason, he felt directly refusing Law was a very inappropriate thing to do.

It wasn't because he feared Law, but he couldn't quite explain why.

Was it because, subconsciously, he wasn't actually opposed to a Dark Continent trip? Or did he want to see that vast, unknown land again with Law?

Tonpa began to seriously consider this question, but the feedback he got was confusion.

"I'll think about it," Tonpa didn't directly refuse.

"Okay."

Law responded, paused for a mont, then added, "I hope when you consider this, you only need to determine whether you want to go or not."

"Yeah."

Tonpa replied.

Then, the call ended.

Tonpa looked silently at his phone, a bitter smile appearing at the corner of his mouth.

He knew what Law ant by those words: nothing more than telling him not to overthink it, and especially not to consider the consequences of refusing.

"You returned my heart to long ago."

Tonpa shook his head slightly, then put his phone away and walked towards Netero's hospital room.

When he arrived, he suddenly found the room almost packed with people.

Six of the Zodiacs had co alone, presumably having learned about the assassination attempt.

Tonpa hadn't expected them to arrive so quickly. He originally intended to say goodbye, but seeing them engaged in intense discussion, he thought about it, then turned and left.

Just as Law said, with these big shots here, why would they need him?

Next up, it was ti for a man's free ti.

Tonpa walked down the corridor, revealing a faint smile, thinking to himself that it would be nice if the sun ca out.

Just like that, without holding an umbrella, he walked outside.

According to his thinking, since he was already wet, getting wet again was nothing.

"First find a hotel to stay, have a good al, then find a girl... make that two, since I have plenty of money anyway."

Tonpa walked towards a certain area in the city center, already planning what he would do later and what ti he would take the airship tomorrow.

Pedestrians on the street almost all had umbrellas. Seeing Tonpa without one, they all gave him an extra look.

Walking down one street, even with the constant heavy rain, many people could still be seen on the street, indicating the city's level of prosperity.

The street was filled with colorful umbrellas coming and going, making those without umbrellas stand out.

Tonpa didn't have an umbrella, so he easily spotted another 'acquaintance' also without an umbrella. That 'acquaintance' also saw Tonpa, abruptly halting his brisk pace, his face so dark it seed ink could drip from it.

This 'acquaintance' was Monma.

Running into Tonpa here was completely unexpected.

Tonpa was actually quite surprised too, not expecting to et Monma here.

Monma paused for a mont, the shadow in his heart began to spread, and with his bellyful of resentnt, he felt a slight urge to kill.

'Can't beat him, can't even avoid him?'

Monma decisively turned and ran, also worried that Tonpa might chase him.

"Why so nervous? I'm not Law."

Watching Monma escape so decisively, Tonpa was full of question marks.

He felt his Nen Ability was green and harmless… in other words, its threat level was quite low.

Put nicely, it was a fifty-fifty stalemate.

Put bluntly, he couldn't kill the enemy, but the enemy had a chance to kill him.

Watching Monma disappear in a flash, Tonpa couldn't be bothered to deal with him, but he still sent this information to Morel and the others.

'What Law said was probably right… the other side would return.'

'But this had nothing to do with anymore.'

Tonpa headed towards the tall buildings in the rain curtain.

From this mont on, he was going to start enjoying life.

In the hospital room, many people had arrived one after another.

Regarding the assassins' identities, people had already been assigned to start investigating.

Because there were too many people, Linne left first to check on Shachmono's condition.

Before Law returned, they would stay nearby, preparing dicinal als for Netero every day. But with Shachmono injured, all the miscellaneous tasks would fall to Linne herself.

Before the assassins' identities and those behind them ca to light, the next security asures needed to be decided.

Actually, there wasn't much to decide, directly moving him into Knov's Hide-and-Seek space would suffice.

Compared to this, Knov and Morel were more concerned about the aftermath of the Chira Ant incident.

They had hurried over after receiving Law's ssage, right after viewing the footage stored in the [Fox Marble].

However, with so many people present now, it wasn't the right ti to bring this matter up.

As for Netero's safety afterwards, they didn't need to worry.
