The marketing departnt staff excel at market research!
After all, it was late at night, and there were hardly any vehicles on the road from Hanyang to Chengdu, except for so parts of the highway. The food truck occasionally weaved through traffic and sotis drove normally, reaching Construction Road in just over an hour.
Chen Mo parked the food truck and got out.
Just a mont ago, he was in Hanyang, and now he was in Chengdu. It suddenly felt quite surreal.
On one side, ti seed to stand still, with few people around.
On the other side, it was...
"Am I seeing this right? It’s almost midnight, and this place is still so damn lively?"
Not far from where Chen Mo parked, there seed to be a night market, bustling with people and noise, occasionally mingled with all sorts of delicious aromas.
There were slls of at and oil, but within every aroma, there was a consistent scent: chili peppers!
"As expected of Sichuan, it’s spicy enough!"
Chen Mo took a stroll around and found a spot with a sign that read [Charity Food Stall] by the roadside, presumably the event location Gu Fang ntioned.
"So the place I’m setting up my stall is nearly three kiloters from the night market?"
Chen Mo frowned slightly.
He initially thought he could help Gu Fang with the charity dinner and simultaneously make so sales and gain experience value.
But now, the situation wasn’t looking too good. The big night market over there had pretty much drawn all the late-night snack seekers, leaving his stall in a secluded spot with hardly any passersby.
The key point was, behind Chen Mo’s stall stood a large building, seemingly one entirely leased out for offices.
In front, a double eight-lane Construction Road stretched out, with similar office buildings on the other side.
During the ten minutes Chen Mo stood there, not a single pedestrian walked over, only cars roared past in front.
"Looks like this really is a true charity event this ti." Chen Mo returned to the camper, drove to a nearby parking lot.
Thankfully, with the auto-parking feature now available, otherwise, parking this hitched vehicle would indeed be quite challenging.
He needed to park the food truck first, detach the hitch, and then park the camper in another space.
After parking, Chen Mo went back to his room, took a shower, and went to bed, but didn’t rush to sleep.
"Anyway, whatever charity al I’m making, Gu Fang’s yoga studio will reimburse the cost."
"But still, I can’t entirely ignore the yoga studio’s costs..."
According to what Gu Fang ntioned before, because there’s a night market next door, many sanitation workers are busy until very late.
It’s common for them to work past midnight.
"A charity late-night snack, making noodle porridge is kind of boring, doesn’t seem sincere." Chen Mo tossed and turned, pondering over this matter.
"Too complicated isn’t good either, might not be able to manage it."
The brain of the excellent marketing departnt employee whirred at full speed.
First, let’s analyze the target clientele.
"For sanitation workers, generally speaking, their family conditions might not be so great, so it’s best to let them experience a feeling of dishes they usually wouldn’t indulge in during this brief charity event."
"First, dishes they usually can’t afford but are actually not so extravagant."
"Second, it should be nutritious and filling."
"Third, it has to taste good!"
Chen Mo suddenly sat up from bed, "So steak and pasta isn’t sothing that can only exist in high-end restaurants, right? There’s no law stating that this can’t appear in a roadside stall!"
For so reason, the more Chen Mo thought about this idea, the more excited he got, so much so that he got up and paced around on the bedroom floor.
"This isn’t steak and pasta; it’s Chinese-style grilled at and saucy noodles."
"We’re not using Italian noodles but round noodles made from grade Flour. The steak is to be grilled — who says grilling steak has to be Western? It’s just a piece of at grilled until cooked, anyone can do it!"
Yes, exactly, that’s how we’ll do it.
Chen Mo already had a na in mind, we’re not calling it steak and pasta; we’re calling it: Chen Mo’s Beef Noodles!
One cow might produce a billion barrels of Kang Shuifu Braised Beef Noodles.
In the hands of a Lanzhou Beef Noodles master, perhaps thousands of bowls of noodles could be made.
But, when you co to Chen Mo’s food truck, beef noodles are beef noodles!
Just thinking about it is exhilarating!
Chen Mo suppressed his excitent, got out of the camper, and went to the food truck, pressing the button on the new juicer tool.
[Please enter the fruit na]
Chen Mo didn’t use his hands; he simply said, "Waterlon."
Swish swish swish ~
The juicer imdiately poured out red juice, filling a cup in an instant, the cup cool to the touch, temperature just right.
Chen Mo tipped his head back and drank it all down.
"Is it really this healthy?" He curiously looked at the empty cup.
The taste of this waterlon juice was hard to describe...
If one were to call it delicious, Chen Mo’s palate considered it actually not as tasty as the waterlon juice from street milk tea shops.
It wasn’t that sweet, nor was it cloying; drinking it felt like taking a big bite of waterlon.
Just, especially healthy.
"Wonderful..."
[Note: The juice produced by this juicer is made purely from fresh premium fruits without any other ingredients added. It cannot guarantee to suit your taste, but it ensures absolute health and safety with no additives.]
[Note 2: This juice can be sold, but the sales amount will not be counted as experience value.]
Chen Mo didn’t mind this at all.
It was a freebie to begin with, having it is good, wanting more makes no sense.
"Let’s have another cup of wheat juice."
[...]
"Is there a problem?"
Swish swish swish~~
Chen Mo held a cool, slightly pale yellow pure wheat juice, raising his head and downing it in one go!
"Refreshing, invigorating! Turns out non-additive beer tastes awful, damn!"
He tossed the cup into the cabinet, feeling that this juicer was quite fun. Honestly, Chen Mo was a bit tempted to try what durian juice would be like.
After all, non-additive, freshly squeezed durian juice, tsk tsk...
He returned to the room, still in no hurry to sleep.
There was still one thing Chen Mo needed to do.
Since it’s [Chen Mo Beef Noodles], considering the yoga studio’s cost, Chen Mo didn’t plan to choose the best ingredients.
After all, grilling so wagyu steak would certainly taste great, but that would be pointless; a steak costing a few thousand yuan, Gu Fang is doing charity, not being foolish.
"Local yellow cattle will suffice; it’ll just require a few more processing steps!"
"Grilled steak is about the ingredients, no doubt, but it’s also about the doneness. And being in Sichuan, naturally it’s also about the seasoning!"
Without even needing a food truck analysis, Chen Mo quickly developed his own plan.
It was already late, so Chen Mo searched on his phone for the nearest fresh at stall and was ready to sleep.
"Doing charity feels aningful."
Chen Mo imagined in his head the sanitation workers who had worked hard all day, their faces lighting up with smiles as they tasted the delicious beef noodles he prepared.
And so he peacefully fell asleep.
