From MC's Perspective:
I arrived at the Sub-Taboo Hall. I looked around and there was no one here. Others used to wait outside to witness so drama. So people may want to gather information.
It appears that none of these have occurred in recent months. Then my gaze shifted to the monitor. I took my identification and scanned it.
Creak!
The door opened the next mont, and I stepped inside. The door behind closed automatically. My gaze swept the room before I sat down on the sofa.
A sense of calm washes over .
I returned here after a long absence. For a mont, I decided to close my eyes and rest here.
20 minutes later,
Carolina Slate stepped in. She was surprised to see soone else on the sofa. But when she saw the person, her expression changed to disbelief.
"Vincent!"
"When did you get back?" She exclaid in a loud voice.
My short nap was disrupted by sudden shouting. I opened my eyes and gazed at her.
The anger subsided after seeing Carolina.
"I ca this morning," I replied calmly.
Carolina rushes forward to greet him with a warm hug. We hugged before taking our seats on the sofa.
I used the system to test her strength. She is still a Level 5 Core Wizard. However, she is only a few steps away from reaching the limit.
"Where have you been?"
"You left without informing anybody. It made us all worried," Carolina asked.
She has a lot of questions in her mind. She is not sure why, but seeing Vincent again makes her feel relieved.
She no longer has to worry about the Sub-Taboo's Hall.
On the other hand, I ca prepared. I have decided not to say too much.
"After leaving the academy, I visited the Small Tribal Nation. "I spent a few months working there before returning," I explained to her.
Carolina beca interested after learning about the small nation. She is familiar with the neighboring countries thanks to geography lessons. Certainly, the Small Tribal Nation was important.
She then began to inquire further.
On the other hand, my lips twitch. But, given her enthusiasm, I do not want to spoil her mood. So I started answering as many of her questions as I could.
Ti passed.
We both forgot the ti and ended up talking for over an hour.
"You have beco like those wizards who spend the majority of their ti outside the academy rather than studying here," Carolina said.
"To be honest, you can grow without spending all of your ti at the academy. As long as you have good talent, awakened magic, and an appropriate ditation thod."
"You can consistently advance as long as you find areas with high mana concentration," I added.
Carolina smiled and said, "Well, that is true to so extent. However, if you want to progress beyond level 5. You need to understand rule power. It cannot happen without the accumulation of knowledge. That is where the Academy cos in."
"Rule Power, uh?"
"You may say that," I agreed.
That is why I returned.
Carolina had a sudden thought. She looked at Vincent and attempted to see through him. However, like others, she was unable to determine Vincent's true strength.
She asked, "Vincent, did you make a breakthrough?"
"Have you reached level 6 True House Wizard?"
She asked back-to-back questions.
Hearing that made smile. If she knew my true strength, she would be terrified. At my current level of strength, my third-stage spell is effective against Elder Galvin.
But I will not tell her that.
"No," I replied, shaking my head in denial.
Then I continued, saying, "I have reached my limit. However, in order to make a breakthrough, I must first understand the Gravity Rule. So it will take so ti."
Carolina was completely shocked when she heard that. She has been hearing that Mike Curtis has attained the rank of level 6. She assud Vincent would be the sa.
She now realizes she has missed sothing. It is not easy for everyone to get started with rule power understanding. Mike Curtis' and Vincent's backgrounds were different.
Mike had the advantage in this situation. So he had reached level 6 Wizard before Vincent.
"It is a pity, your rival. That guy from Taboo Hall beca the True House Wizard a few weeks ago. Not only him, but a few others who competed against you in internal competition have also achieved level-6 Wizard status," Carolina explained.
"Who?"
"Mike Curtis," I asked in surprise.
"Yes, it is him," Carolina confird.
I was not surprised. He had resources to start with. You can get started as long as you have been exposed to the Rules of your awakened magic.
Carolina has no idea what is on Vincent's mind. She thought Vincent was losing motivation.
"Vincent, do not worry too much about it. I believe Elder and Dean may know how to assist you," she said.
"It is okay; I am not in a hurry to break through. I just got back. I will think about it later," I said to her.
Then I rember the corpse sucking flower. I think now is the best ti to give it to her.
"I have a gift for you. I am not sure if it will be beneficial to you or not," I told her.
"What?"
"Seriously, you brought sothing," Carolina said, surprised. Her mood improves imdiately.
I removed the silver box from the Storage bracelet before placing it on the table.
Carolina's eyes were fixed on the box.
She then moved forward to open the box. She removed the cover. She noticed a black flower inside a bottle.
It was stunning and beautiful. This corpse sucking black flower has the sa ability as her blood sucking vines.
She felt the resonance right away. She felt a sudden yearning from her reawakened magic. She knew right then that the black flower would be a huge help to her.
She raised her head and gazed into Vincent's eyes.
"Vincent, where did you get this flower?"
"It serves a similar purpose to my vine magic," she inquired.
I smiled and said, "I discovered it on one of my adventures. I explored an ancient cave. While exploring, I discovered several skeletons. So of them were broken, while a few remained intact."
"I went deeper into the cave. I stumbled across mummified corpses. Then I noticed a thick black flower growing on top of it. It has drained the vitality of those people, who probably had no idea what they were up against at the ti," I added.
Carolina was overjoyed and expressed her gratitude right away. Then she decided to do sothing to Vincent Carey again.
She then stored the black flower and resolved to study it right away.
"Vincent, I am going back to the room to study. We will et again in the evening. I will notify Senior Gilbert as well," Carolina said.
"All right, I intend to visit the library as well. Let us et in the evening," I said to her.
Carolina then exited the building with a big smile on her face.
I could not help but think the black flower would play a larger role than I had anticipated. Her plant magic system is unique. As long as she reaches the limit, she can easily comprehend natural law.
Because there are many resources available for understanding plant magic. I suppose the Academy has one as well.
After removing the disturbing thoughts, I decided to take a short nap before heading to the library.
About 15 minutes later,
I finished my short nap before heading to the library. After I left, I took my usual route to the library.
The Wizard Students, wearing various Wizard Hall emblems, go about their business. I quickly made my way into the library without incident.
Then I approached the library monitor and had my ID scanned. After successfully logging in, I searched for books on ancient redwood country.
The reach results then appeared on the screen. I ignored the books and began searching for the travel notes.
Nurous travel notes from various ti periods appeared on the screen. Then I began looking for more recent ones, close to modern tis.
Ancient Redwood Country is undoubtedly a well-known destination.
After scrolling down a few pages, I discovered a travel note written by an academy graduate. I checked the date. I discovered it was six years old.
Seeing this, I have decided to read it. I checked the rack number and section before approaching it.
However, students are present in the library. So of them have noticed and identified Vincent Carey. They were shocked for a brief mont. They had not received any news about his return to the academy.
But now he is walking casually into the library, looking for books. So students decided to wait and see before confirming. While others began to share it online.

The news will soon spread like wildfire. Once it begins to spread, it is only a matter of ti before it reaches the other two academies. People in the Capital City will eventually hear about the news.
