From MC's Perspective:

2 days later,

I left the room the following morning and went to the library. I think people are used to my presence there now. No one is waiting outside for hours to bother .

The euphoria has subsided, and everything has returned to normal. Especially after teaching those rude people a lesson, no one dared to stop again.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, I'm finding interesting books to expand my knowledge. I've decided to focus on plants, ancient sites, and various forms of magic.

Right now, I'm holding a book that contains information ahout the least researched ancient sites in our country.

I know I have been banned from leaving the academy. Even going to the capital would be impossible in my current situation.

But I think the situation will improve in the coming days. Once it happens, I have a plan to visit these ancient sites. There is one thing about exploring ancient sites in a foreign country.

But here, I can explore the ancient places without much worry. I believe our country has many hidden ancient treasures.

As long as I can find them, it will be helpful for . Then I started to read the book.

A few minutes later, an interesting story caught my attention.

It's a place called "Matuna," once a bustling black market for wizards in ancient tis. Records indicate the area used to have a high concentration of mana.

However, the place is now rarely visited. Over ti, a small town replaced it, and this town still exists today. Many adventurers venture there to explore.

Wizards, though, cannot stay for long due to the area's low mana concentration, which hinders their growth. So, few outsiders visit nowadays.

It's puzzling why, given the place's history as a black market, it should be popular destination for atleast Low Level Wizards.

A quick gleam flashed in my eyes. Once the situation improves, I'll visit this place. It's not far from the capital, located in the middle region of the country.

There's a magic train facility available that connects to the middle region.

After figuring this out, I continued to read. At noon, I returned the books and exited the library.

As I was heading back to the Sub-Taboo Hall, I saw soone walking towards . It seed like the person was waiting for . When I saw his face, I cursed under my breath.

The person was none other than Mike Curtis, dressed in a black uniform. I could sense level-6 mana particles surrounding him. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well, I've wasted two days to et you," Mike replied. He then attempted to assess Vincent Carey's strength but was unable to. His senses were blocked by a thick wall.

"Are you using an artifact?" he inquired.

Understanding his implication, I asked, "Tell , what do you want?" instead of answering.

We exchanged intense glances. anwhile, other wizard students noticed us. Mike was as famous as I was on campus, so murmurs began to circulate.

"What I want is a rematch. But sadly, you're one step behind. You're not my opponent now. So let's fight when you reach level-6," Mike asked.

"Alright," I replied.

Mike Curtis smiled before leaving.

Gasp!

A loud gasp sounded behind .

The other wizard students had heard everything, though they were too scared to approach. They'd listened from a distance.

I offered a helpless smile before continuing towards the Sub-Taboo Hall. Shortly afterward, I arrived at the hall, scanned my ID, and entered. The door automatically closed behind . I walked to the couch and sat down.

"Senior Carolina is busy with her potion research. I wonder when she'll co," I thought to myself.

Then I leaned back slightly before starting to read the online post. I've missed reading the online posts. I've been catching up on the past two days.

As I scrolled down, so good news caught my attention. My classmates from the special class had beco Level-5 Core Wizards.

While their advancent wasn't as fast as Lara White or mine, it still took them less than two years to move from the inner house to the core house.

Thinking about my classmates, I wondered what that monster, Lara White, was up to.

I knew she was always one step ahead of . Her talent grade far surpassed mine. If my assumption is correct, she's already a Level-7 Wizard. She's the only one to reach Level-7 at a similar age.

Thinking about my classmates made think of my high school friends.

I sighed internally. My ntality has completely changed. Nowadays, I find myself thinking about Peak Wizards and Magic Lords.

Back in my hotown, I thought Level-5 was the ultimate goal. It wouldn't be wrong to say I have the strength to wipe out the entire town in my current state. But I still feel weak.

Shortly afterward, Carolina arrived and sat opposite Vincent. I observed her happy expression.

"Did you succeed?" I asked.

"We're halfway there. After creating the potion formula, I can prepare for my advancent to level-6," Carolina replied, smiling.

She paused, then asked, "What are you going to do about your situation?"

Hearing this, I responded, "I've told you before. I have to wait for their approval. But I've been thinking about traveling across our country."

"Are you serious?" Carolina asked, skepticism evident in her voice.

"I don't know where your confidence cos from. There are people waiting outside to kill you. I thought you'd prepare so hidden cards before planning sothing," she continued, expressing her doubt.

This wasn't the first ti she'd heard sothing crazy from Vincent. He had a history of making audacious plans, yet sohow, they always seed to work out.

"Don't worry, this ti I won't anger everyone," I replied confidently.

"I saw an online post a few minutes ago. Looks like Mike has really challenged you to a rematch," Carolina said with a hint of amusent.

I smiled. "That guy has changed. He's not that angry, bloodthirsty guy anymore. He wasn't even pissed off about the Wizard Heart Competition results."

Experience tales at empire

Carolina's expression turned serious. "Don't trust anyone from the Taboo Hall. It might be a tactic to lure you into their hall," she warned.

"I'm not that stupid," I replied with a laugh.
