Before arriving here, I had assud that fully grasping the Gravity Rule would be a long and treacherous journey, one that involved delving deep into the Ancient Forbidden Ruins, risking life and sanity.

I had braced myself for that challenge. But, to my surprise, this place, this land of Ancient Redwood Country has granted sothing far greater than re knowledge from ancient relics.

The very atmosphere here is infused with pure, dense mana, a concentration so potent that it accelerates the understanding of Rule Power with little effort.

The Gravity Rule, sothing I had wrestled with for so long, now flows through almost effortlessly. I can feel it in the air, pressing down on yet lifting higher, both literally and taphorically.

My body hums with its resonance, and with each passing mont, I inch closer to a full breakthrough. According to my calculations, I'm just one percent away from reaching the pinnacle, Level-7—a barrier that once seed insurmountable now feels almost within my grasp.

What's more astonishing is the realization that this progress isn't limited to the Gravity Rule. The entire nation is a powerhouse of magical energy, so rich and abundant that simply existing here is enough to push one to new heights.

If the Ancient Redwood Country, one of the Super Large Nations, possesses such an extraordinary environnt, what about the others? It's not hard to imagine that they, too, might hold the key to even greater advancents.

Yet, as I stand on the brink of this newfound power, my thoughts wander to the Mage Union The legendary place of wizardry and arcane mastery.

Tales of the Union paints it as a paradise for wizards, a place where the mana is so pure, so concentrated, that even the mightiest of mages bow to its potential. Could it be even more blessed than this land? The re thought makes my heart quicken with anticipation.

A flicker of longing passed through my mind, but I quickly banished it, shaking my head clear of distractions. There's no point in daydreaming when I'm so close to a breakthrough.

I stand up, casting one last glance at the exit door that would lead back to the wider world. I owe much of this progress to the old man who helped adapt to this land's unique energy without incident. Without his wisdom, I might have been overwheld.

Creak!

The door groaned as I slowly pushed it open and stepped out into the cool night air. To my surprise, the old man was seated near the entrance, his weathered face partially hidden in the shadows, yet exuding a calm, watchful presence.

"Senior, thank you for your help," I said, my voice respectful as I dipped my head slightly in gratitude.

The old man's eyes fluttered open at the sound of my voice. His gaze, sharp and discerning, fell upon , as if he were trying to probe deeper, to gauge my strength. I felt a slight ripple in the air, a subtle tug as he tried to peer into my aura.

But, to his shock, his attempt was blocked, his senses unable to penetrate the protective barrier of the system.

A flicker of surprise crossed his face, though he masked it quickly. This young man's identity is not simple, he thought, a slight unease creeping into his mind.

Still, he maintained a calm deanor as he stood up, brushing off the dust from his robes before walking toward with a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.

"Don't ntion it, young man. It's not every day one ets such a talented wizard," he said, his voice smooth yet filled with a hidden curiosity. "What's your na, if you don't mind asking?"

"My na is Vincent Carey," I replied, my voice steady.

"Vincent Carey... A good na," the old man repeated, his eyes narrowing slightly as if committing it to mory. "Young man, do you need any further assistance?"

I hesitated for a mont, my instincts urging caution. The old man had helped , true, but I knew nothing of his affiliations or his true intentions.

Revealing anything about the True Elents Society, the wizard organization I'm going to be a part of, would be unwise. "Thank you, Senior, but I think I'd like to rest for now. If I need anything, I'll co see you in the morning," I said, keeping my tone light but firm.

The old man gave a nod, his expression unreadable. "Very well," he said, his voice carrying a hint of amusent. He gestured toward the exit, leading through the grand corridors of the auction building.

It was far larger than the previous one I had visited, with tall archways and ornate carvings on the walls that glead faintly in the low light. Despite the late hour, the place buzzed with activity. I passed several staff mbers who were moving efficiently, their tasks uninterrupted by the night.

As we stepped out into the open air, the crisp night breeze greeted . I turned to the old man one last ti, asking him about a good place to stay nearby. He stroked his beard thoughtfully before pointing in the direction of a well-lit street. "There's a hotel just a short walk from here. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. You should find it to your liking."

"Thank you," I said, offering a polite nod before heading down the path he had indicated. Even as I walked away, I could feel his gaze lingering on my back, his curiosity about far from sated. Sothing told our paths would cross again, but for now, I needed rest, tomorrow would bring its own set of challenges.

The old man had been helpful, and from what the system showed, there was no indication of any hidden hostility or deceit in his actions. The system had a way of picking up subtle signs of danger, and his presence had triggered nothing. He seed genuinely friendly, though I remained cautious, appearances could always be deceiving in a world like this.

Clearing my mind of lingering thoughts about the old man, I continued down the street. The night was calm, with only the distant hum of the city keeping company. The air was crisp, carrying with it the faint scent of jasmine from nearby gardens. As I walked, the dim street lights cast long shadows, and the cobblestone roads beneath my feet echoed faintly with each step.

A few minutes later, I stood in front of the Starfly Hotel. Its architecture was striking, elegant yet welcoming, with soft golden lights illuminating the intricately carved stone entrance.

The building had a regal charm, its architecture reminiscent of an era when magic and craftsmanship were intertwined. Ornate glass windows glead under the moonlight, reflecting the stars above. I took a mont to admire it before making my decision, I would stay here for the night.

I stepped inside, the cool air of the lobby greeting as I approached the reception. The staff moved with quiet efficiency, their uniforms pristine. After a brief exchange, I booked a room. They handed the key, and within monts, I found myself ascending a wide staircase lined with deep red carpet, leading to my floor.

When I entered the room, I imdiately scanned the surroundings. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated with a mix of modern comfort and old-world charm.

Dark wooden furniture contrasted against the soft cream walls, and a large window overlooked the city skyline. I focused, checking for any hidden magic devices, traps, or surveillance spells. The place was clean, no trace of enchantnts or anything that could compromise my safety. Despite this, I knew better than to let my guard down.

Satisfied for the mont, I made the choice to retreat into the safety of the Gregor Mansion. It was always better to be cautious, especially when staying in an unfamiliar place.

Swoosh!

In an instant, the world around blurred as I disappeared from the hotel room. Within seconds, I materialized inside the Gregor Mansion, a secure space where I could truly relax.
