From MC's Perspective:

After carefully inspecting the contents of the storage bracelets, I decided it was ti to take a break. My body felt tense from the day's events, and I needed to gather my strength for tomorrow's visit to the Special Mage Departnt.

The thought of what lay ahead both excited and concerned , but for now, I wanted a mont of peace.

Swoosh!

With a simple thought, I teleported directly to the Gregor Mansion. The luxurious surroundings did little to calm my nerves, but I made my way to the large, comfortable bed and collapsed onto it.

The soft silk sheets felt like a dream after the day I'd had, but my mind still churned with unanswered questions. Tomorrow, everything will change.

anwhile...

Leona Perry sat with her friends, a group of aristocratic mages who, like her, ca from families with a long legacy of power.

Their chatter filled the room, but the topic remained the sa, it's about Vincent Carey. They were eager for any scrap of information about Vincent Carey, the so-called "nobody" who had suddenly earned a coveted spot in the Special Mage Departnt.

Leona's friends badgered her relentlessly, hungry to relay their findings to their own families. Their cousins and elders were equally curious, wondering how a wizard from such an unknown background could rise so quickly. But Leona stayed quiet, lost in her own thoughts. She wasn't so eager to jump to conclusions.

Unlike her friends, Leona knew the danger of underestimating him.The Mage Union itself had recomnded him, which ant that every move she made was likely being watched by them.

Acting recklessly could bring unwanted consequences—not just for her, but for her entire family. The Mage Union had far-reaching power, and Leona wasn't about to give them a reason to focus their attention on her.

Her hesitation wasn't just out of fear, though. She was curious. There was sothing off about the newcor Sothing... different.

Leona's brow furrowed as she recalled our encounter.

"According to all the information I've gathered, Vincent Carey is only a level-5 wizard," she thought to herself. "But when I confronted him, he didn't seem afraid. Not in the slightest. It's strange… almost unnatural."

She couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to him than t the eye.

...

While this was unfolding, the news of Vincent Carey's arrival began to spread like wildfire among the young wizards from influential backgrounds in other departnts.

Many of these wizards were stunned, despite sending people to investigate him, they had yet to receive any information. It was as though he had appeared out of thin air. And yet, here he was, already inside the organization, ready to claim his place among them.

For so, the realization that Vincent was now a mber of their prestigious society sent a chill down their spine. Their own resources and networks had failed to uncover anything significant about him, and this unknown factor made them uneasy.

A collective feeling of dread settled among them, a bad premonition that this outsider would upset the delicate balance of power they were accustod to.

Quietly, they began to sche, waiting for the perfect opportunity to target Vincent, to remind him—and everyone else—that no one from nowhere should be allowed to rise so quickly.

...

On the other side, the elders in charge of the Special Mage Departnt had already been notified. Unlike the young wizards filled with jealousy and suspicion, the elders were well aware of the Mage Union's recomndation of Vincent Carey. In fact, they had been expecting his arrival.

The elders, seasoned and wise, were not concerned with petty rivalries. They understood the importance of the Special Mage Departnt, which only admitted the best of the best each year.

For them, Vincent's qualifications spoke for themselves. His power of sub-taboo magic, a rare and dangerous form of spellcasting, made him more than deserving of a place within their ranks.

Sub-taboo wizards were rare gems, and the Special Mage Departnt prided itself on cultivating such talent. Not only did they welco Vincent, but they viewed his inclusion as a strengthening of their departnt.

None of the elders had the inclination to oppose Vincent's entry, let alone defy the Mage Union's decision. To challenge the Mage Union would be to invite disaster upon themselves and their families—a risk none of them were willing to take.

...

However, not all departnts shared the Special Mage Departnt's enthusiasm. The news of Vincent's acceptance into their ranks unsettled the other wizard departnts, particularly those led by elders from aristocratic wizard families.

These departnts had long viewed the Special Mage Departnt as the pinnacle of power within the True Elents Society, and the idea that another powerful wizard—one not of their bloodlines—had joined them sparked resentnt.

Resources, influence, and authority flowed more freely to the Special Mage Departnt, and the thought of Vincent Carey gaining access to those privileges irked them deeply. To them, Vincent was already an eyesore, a threat to their entrenched power, even before they had laid eyes on him.

While these political tensions simred, the Palace Masters in the organization remained largely oblivious to the brewing conflict.

Their responsibilities were far greater, their concerns more profound. The intrigues of the younger wizards and the politics of departnt elders ant little to them.

As long as the organization remained stable and there were no direct threats to their authority, they had no reason to ddle in the affairs of the Mage Union or the internal squabbles of their subordinates.

For now, they stayed focused on their work, indifferent to the ripples caused by Vincent Carey's arrival.

...

anwhile, within the Special Mage Departnt, the existing wizard mbers were quietly abuzz with curiosity about their new recruit.

This departnt, known for its elite but small mbership, often thrived on exclusivity. The arrival of a new mber was always a noteworthy event, especially since seats were so limited and highly coveted.

Unlike other departnts, where jealousy and competition simred beneath the surface, here the atmosphere was different. Many of the mbers were eager to et Vincent Carey, to see what kind of wizard had been chosen to join their ranks by the Mage Union itself.

However, not everyone shared this open-mindedness. A handful of mbers harbored a natural distrust of outsiders, especially soone from a background as unknown as Vincent's.

They were not hostile, but cautious. In their minds, no amount of recomndation could replace personal experience. They needed to see for themselves whether Vincent was truly deserving of his place. Until then, they would reserve judgnt.

Despite this slight wariness, there was no overwhelming animosity toward the newcor. The Special Mage Departnt prided itself on discipline and talent above all else.

...

Your adventure continues at empire

At the sa ti, the Head of the True Elents Society was notably absent, off attending to more pressing matters beyond the organization's walls.

However, the news of Vincent Carey's arrival did not go unnoticed. The elders in charge had already confird his presence and imdiately sent a formal acknowledgent to the Mage Union's representative, as was customary when a candidate of such significance entered their ranks.

This confirmation marked the beginning of a new chapter for Vincent. From this point forward, the True Elents Society assud full responsibility for his safety, an arrangent that was not taken lightly.

The Mage Union had made it abundantly clear that Vincent Carey was no ordinary recruit. Upon graduation, he would officially beco a mber of the Mage Union, which held considerable sway in the magical world.

For the elders, this ant that Vincent's well-being was paramount. Any harm coming to him during his ti in the Society would not only stain their reputation but could also provoke the wrath of the Mage Union—sothing they were keen to avoid.

Yet, despite their formal commitnt to protect Vincent, the elders were not naive. They were all too familiar with the machinations of the aristocratic wizard families within the Society.

These families, steeped in tradition and power, often viewed outsiders with suspicion and were prone to scheming when they felt their influence was threatened.

The elders knew that Vincent's arrival, especially as a Mage Union-backed wizard, would upset the delicate balance of power among these families. They had seen it before: whispers in the corridors, alliances ford in secret, and subtle moves designed to undermine newcors.

But this ti, they would be watching closely. The elders, while neutral in appearance, had their own interests aligned with the Mage Union's success.

They understood that Vincent Carey's future could be pivotal for the True Elents Society, and any attempt by the aristocratic families to sabotage his progress would be t with swift action.

They couldn't afford a scandal, especially not one involving soone who had the Mage Union's backing.

For now, they maintained a vigilant stance, knowing that the true test would co in the days ahead. They know that these aristocratic families holds considerable power in the organization. So they have to be careful in their actions.
