From MC's Perspective:
In the Gregor Mansion, I'm watching the whole scene with slight worry and nervousness. Now, I have a clue regarding her identity. She is wearing the elder uniform of the True Elents Society, similar to Elder Paul, but the badge is different.
"I don't know who she is. But I hope she will handle the old man," I uttered. My gaze was fixed on the control mirror.
Outside,
"Humph, you seem like an arrogant bitch. Co and die."
The old man lost his patience. The next second, the parasitic organ shot towards her at a fast speed. Before she could finish blinking her eyes.
The parasitic mouth reaches her mana core. Before the mouth could penetrate her body.
Stella's eyes flash with a bright glow. As two of her eyes shine bright.
Argh!
The old man Transmutation Wizard let out a heart-wrenching cry; he retracted the parasitic organs. He is clutching the head by using both of his hands.
This all happened within seconds. One seconds earlier, he was ready to snap open her mana core. One second later, he is experiencing severe headaches, like soone poured hot molten lava over his head.
Argh!
As the ti passes, his painful cry increases. Stella is a Level-9 Mind Wizard. Her ntal stats are abnormal compared to other Wizards. On top of it, only a few wizards in the sa rank could defend her ntal attacks.
And those wizards have one or two mind-related spells. Otherwise, everyone is vulnerable to her magic. Stella's gaze was stone cold. She is being completely ruthless.
She has uncovered those piled-up corpses. The reported killings were very few, which were related to the City Guards. But those piled-up corpses were that of locals. Including old, adult and young.
It shows the killer is a serial killer. It was not about those stolen objects anymore.
A few seconds later,
A dignified Level-9 Transmutation Wizard ended up passing out. He wasn't able to withstand the power of mind magic.
After confirming the killer was unconscious, Stella appeared in front of him. She takes the anti magic handcuffs from her storage bracelet.
Just as she proceeds to handcuff his hand. The parasitic mouth cos out of the palm to bite her left-hand forefinger. It was so fast that their mouth was able to bite her fingers in less than milliseconds.
Stella's eyes turned cold. She grabbed the parasitic part and tore it from the palm.
Cry!
The parasitic mouth made a weird cry. It caused the old man Transmutation Wizard to open his eyes. Stella once again uses her mind magic to attack him.
This ti she didn't hold back. It completely hurt the old man's mind. It would take ti for him to recover. Now that he has passed out again. She safely managed to handcuff him.
The parasitic mouth was dead. But the bite mark is visible. She could feel weird mana spreading inside. She made a decision. She cut off her left-hand forefinger the next second.
In the blink of an eye, the separated cut-down finger turned into an ink-blue color before becoming a complete yellow pus in front of her eyes.
Seeing that, her eyes flash with fear for a second. She then calms her heart. She then grabbed the hand of the passed-out old man and appeared in mid-air.
She is directly taking him to the True Elents Society's prison. When it cos to Vincent Carey. She decides to find him later.
Swoosh!
The next second, she disappears from the spot.
Construction works are lying on the ground, passed out. They have missed a chance to et the True Elents Society Elder.
Shortly afterwards,
I appeared outside. I glanced around the surroundings before hurriedly moving away from the place. Not long after, I ca to a busy street and entered one of the coffee shops on the street side.
Once again, I went to a private room and ordered a hot coffee. Only after sitting down for a few seconds did my heartbeat return to normal.
"What was that all about?" I asked in my heart.
I thought there would be a bombardnt of magic spells. But the woman seems to be one of the elders in the True Elents Society.
When the server brought the coffee. I started sipping it. The scenes were playing out in my mind. The old man had tried to attack her by using the parasitic organ. But the next second, he was clutching his head and screaming.
At the sa ti, the eyes of that woman glowed as well.
"Is it so kind of Mind Magic?" I asked myself.
"Damn, the people who have mind-related magic are powerful," I said in my heart.
She was able to make the old man pass out easily. If it were other common elental wizards they would have used various elental spells to bombard him. Then, make him exhausted before capturing him.
But she has done it easily with the mind magic. Yet she made a careless mistake in the end. Which cost her a forefinger. To think the foreign parasitic organs could act independently without getting command from the old man.
A cold shiver went down my spine.
I made the right decision by not confronting him directly. The cut-down finger turned into yellow pus the next second. If it were any higher wizard and lower, they would have died by the bite.
But fortunately, everything ca to an end. Now the killer has been captured, I can get rewards. But before I have to make up the stories. They will ask about the hideout.
I can't say I was there the entire ti. I'll tell them with mixed lies. Then I continued to sip the coffee. Your next chapter awaits on empire

A sudden notification drew my attention. It was from Elder Paul. When I started to go through it. I realized he had tried to contact a few minutes ago.
I started typing the reply, "I'm safe. I'm coming back to the organization."
After sending the ssage, I relaxed.
