Perry Family:
In the deepest part of the Perry Family, there were many life artifacts being protected. These life artifacts belong to the Perry Family mbers.
If any family mber dies, they would imdiately know it. Right at this mont, the life artifact which belongs to Charon Perry dimd.
In the blink of an eye, the glass in the lifeline artifact shattered.
Alarm!
The next second, an old elder guardian of the lifeline artifacts opened his eyes. He was an old level-8 wizard nearing the end of his life, spending his last days here.
But the sudden alarm jolted him awake. With his feeble body, he went inside the protected chamber to check. His eyes scanned across the life artifacts in different shapes and sizes. Your adventure continues at My Virtual Library Empire
Finally, his gaze fell on the broken one, where the glass shards could be seen nearby. It was the life artifact of the next generation.
The old man imdiately took the broken life artifact to identify its na. Then he saw the na of Charon Perry. Without waiting any further, he rang the alarm bell.
It imdiately sounded across the estates of the Perry Family. From the front guards, maids, and helpers to the family mbers inside the estate, everyone heard the ergency sound.
It ant sothing bad had befallen the family. This imdiately caused a chain reaction; people started to panic. It would be a matter of ti before other family mbers learned of this.
In the Perry Family, Aaron Perry, who was speaking to the family mbers, heard the ergency sound. His face and those around him changed drastically.
Swoosh!
The next second, they vanished from the spot and rushed toward the place where the sound was coming from. Not only them; there were other silhouettes rushing in the direction where the life artifacts were placed.
The forr and the current family head heard the ergency signal as well. Everyone dropped their current work on the spot and rushed to the location.
In the blink of an eye, many high-level wizards and above gathered at that location. Everyone was in front of this old wooden-style architectural building.
It could be called the shrine of their ancestors or the place where all of their life artifacts were stored. Everyone's expression was serious. They could already guess that sothing bad had happened to their family mbers.
Aaron Perry was there as well. He didn't know why he felt more unsettled than others. He was wondering if any old wizards had died in their family.
Certainly, he was not thinking about an accident. So of them had similar thoughts as well. No one dared to go against their family.
Even the powerful True Elents Society was not taking any action but keeping an eye on them.
"Cooper, what do you think?" The forr family head, Callen Perry, asked. He appeared to be an old man over sixty, but his real age was above three hundred.
He was not only the forr family head but also the father of the current family head.
The blonde, middle-aged man who was the current family head frowned. Cooper didn't think it was soone old who had died.
"Father, I think it's not good," Cooper uttered.
Creak!
The next second, the door opened and a feeble old man walked in with slow steps.
Seeing him, everyone had a dignified look on their faces. So of them misunderstood, thinking the dead person was the old man himself.
The forr family head, Callen, frowned. He was one of those who had misunderstood as well.
Callen's eyes flickered. He had been feeling uneasy, and now it was kind of confirmation that soone else had died.
The feeble old man looked at everyone with his aging eyes. Seeing that even the forr head had co out, he couldn't help but sigh.
"I have bad news to tell. Charon Perry from our forr head's family line has died," the old man said slowly.
Boom!
His words fell like a hamr on everyone's heads. The next second, many of their mana began to riot due to this disturbing news.
The huge fluctuations ca from the body of the forr family head, Callen. The uncontrollable pressure from him imdiately struck others around him.
Boom!
The level-9 wizards and below flew backward like broken kites before crashing into the ground.
Pfff!
They coughed up blood before realizing that Charon Perry was one of the grandsons of the forr family head. He was also the son of the current family head's brother, Rhys.
Even Cooper took out a powerful magic artifact to withstand the pressure; otherwise, he would have been injured as well.
Argh!
The person who received backlash was the feeble old man. He was already on the verge of dying. The coercion from the Magic Lord hit him hard. The poor old man died on the spot.
But right now, no one had pity toward the old man who broke the bad news that would shake the foundation of the Perry Family.
There was one more person lying on the ground not far away, wiping the blood from his mouth. The person was none other than Aaron Perry.
At that mont, imnse fear filled his heart. He couldn't believe what had happened. He had seen Charon Perry last night. He hadn't spared the other party a glance and left without saying a word.
His back went cold thinking about it because he was the last person who saw him, apart from Leona. He didn't know how he had died. Charon Perry and Leona Perry were at the Perry Family Hotel.
"Did he leave the hotel at midnight?" Aaron asked himself.
Whatever the case, since he was dead, the Perry Family wouldn't remain silent.
"Charon, my grandson!"
It took Callen Perry a couple of seconds to calm his heart. Seeing that others were suffering, including the current family head, Cooper, he dismissed the pressure.
Boom!
The level-9 wizards and others wizards below felt relieved. They were happy that their lives were saved despite being injured by their forr family head.
