The Perry Hotel,
The forr head, Callen, is observing the place. He had even used rare artifacts to find the smallest clue possible. But nonetheless, all of them had failed.
"I don't believe my grandson could disappear just like that," Callen thought to himself. No one saw Charon Perry leaving.
Either soone must have kidnapped him, or Charon himself left without alerting others. He believes in the first case, because Charon's digital device tracker showed the last location as the Perry Hotel.
Callen frowned. There are many strange magics in the world. No one has a record of all of them except the Mage Union.
As ti passes, the ti for sunrise is getting closer. From ti to ti, he gets lost in thought while standing there, trying to figure out clue.
He then seed to think of sothing.
"What was that kid's na?"
"Yes, Vincent Carey. I must capture that kid. I don't think the entire True Elents Society establishnt is ready to offend just because of a level-6 Wizard," Callen thought to himself.
At this ti, he doesn't know much about Vincent Carey's background, especially the involvent of the Mage Union in Vincent's life.
Callen decides to visit the True Elents Society in the morning. But before that, he has to appear in his residence. His son will definitely send soone to check on him.
Swoosh!
After making the decision, he left the spot.

From MC's Perspective:
In the morning, I appeared in class to attend the lectures as usual. These days my classmates didn't bother , especially after knowing I was close to Elder Paul Lin. Their attitude has changed.
Even the lecturer who ca to teach doesn't mind my absence at all. Because of this, my studies are going smoothly.
Shortly afterward,
The lecturer arrived and began his class as usual. The lecture was about ancient ruins. I listened attentively while seated in the last row.
Ti passed.
The other departnt's classes were going as usual. No one found anything suspicious. Except one faction, the Aristocratic Factions' people, who were discussing the Perry Family.
They mistakenly believe that the Perry Family has been creating an image as if they were up to sothing; many of them tried to gather information.
This included the families close to the Perry Family, but none of them were able to find anything. This made them strongly suspect that sothing was going on.
The matter is so significant that the Perry Family is not ready to share with them. This made them frustrated. If it was related to the interests of the Aristocratic Faction in the True Elents Society, then they believe it's their right to know the truth.
They don't want to be caught off guard if the Perry Family does sothing detrintal to their interests. So people have decided to reach out to the Head of the Perry Family later in person.
At this ti, the forr Head Callen arrives at the True Elents Society. He has concealed his presence using the Magic Lord power. Only other Magic Lords can sense him.
He ca here to test the defenses of the True Elents Society. If they're weak, he won't mind barging in to capture that kid.
Just as Callen appears in the sky and tries to step inside the campus territory,
A powerful magic artifact installed by Head Howard Mason reacts. The magical power detects the mana of every level, from lower level to level-10.
The level-10 Wizards are supre wizards. They work in the True Elents Society as Palace Masters. Even their existence was detected by the artifact.
But this ti, the magic artifact fails to detect mana in one particular place. If sothing like this happens, it alerts the artifact owner.
The artifact owner is the Head of the True Elents Society, Howard Mason.
In the deepest area of the True Elents Society, Howard senses the signal from the artifact. He knows it's a rare, powerful detection-type artifact. It can alert him if there is an undetectable signal.
The undetectable signal only appears if soone above its level enters the place. He knows the only existence who could do that is a Magic Lord.
Howard's eyes turned cold. He thinks the uninvited Magic Lord is rude.

He vanished from the spot and appeared in the sky. He took a few steps forward. In the blink of an eye, he appeared at the entrance.
Then he saw an old man inspecting the defenses of their campus silently. From the clothing and family insignia, he knew who the old man was.
"Magic Lord Callen, what are you doing here?" he asked.
Callen felt Howard's presence when he appeared, so he was not surprised.
"Sorry, I ca uninvited. I was just checking out the place," Callen said with a smile.
"Old man, I know you were testing the defenses. Tell what you're up to; otherwise, I'll ask your son directly," Howard said.
He has dealt with the current Head of the Perry Family as well, so he knew the character of these two people.
Callen's eyes turned cold. Since Howard is also a Magic Lord, he controlled his anger.
"Listen, I need to speak with one of your wizards. I will leave after that," Callen requested.

Howard smiled but felt sothing was off in his heart. He had also heard about the unusual movents of the Perry Family over the past few days.
He knew sothing had happened there, but he hadn't paid any attention to the Aristocratic Families. It was the sa case right now.
But the request intrigued him, so he wanted to hear who the old man wanted to talk to.
"It's not going to be easy," Howard replied.
"It's going to be a small talk. I want to confirm sothing, then I'll leave by myself," Callen requested again.
Howard frowned. Why did he think it was not simple?
"Alright, tell his na first. Whether to allow it or not, it's up to ," Howard said in a calm tone.
"His na is Vincent Carey. A new kid studying in your Special Mage Departnt," Callen replied.
