From MC's Perspective:
"You can go now and don't leave the campus like earlier. I'll go and report it to Elder Stella," Elder Paul Lin said.
Hearing that, I nodded my head before leaving.
About 10 minutes later,
I returned to the dorm building. After freshening up, I changed into comfortable clothes. Then I lay on the bed to rest.
The information given by Elder Paul Lin was too much. I had never expected that Lord Rhys turned out to be a terrifying figure.
That person had traveled across foreign countries to find a cure, so it's normal for him to have more contacts. With a thought, I retrieved the black token and held it in my hand.
"He knows about this space mage token," I said to myself.
If I could get more information about this, it would be good. The forbidden Pinewood Forest was my best shot, but Head Howard had faced life-threatening injuries.
After that, I thought it was impossible to get another opportunity. But this black token ca as hope. Though it's not related to Gravity, soone connected to the token might know about Gravity Magic.
Then I placed the token back in the system space.
Ti passed.
During midnight, the wizards once again slid another letter through the door gap. Then they left without causing any problems.
A few minutes later,
I got out of bed to get water. When I appeared in the living room, my gaze fell on the door for a second.
"This?" A surprised exclamation escaped my mouth.
"There is a letter again," I muttered to myself.
A quick gleam flashed in my eyes. Aaron Perry and Lord Rhys didn't know about my return. Perhaps they assud I had returned for so reason and didn't follow their plan to reach the old town.
My mouth curved into an arc. I had fallen for this trick before. But I won't fall for it again. Then I decided to at least read the letter.
I walked to the door and picked up the letter. I couldn't help but think of my dorm mates. I didn't know who was helping them.
It must be wizards from the Bloodline Beast Departnt and the Beast Taming Departnt.
Then I shifted my attention to the letter. I unfolded it and began to read.
A few minutes later,
"Ha...Ha...Ha..." a small laugh escaped my mouth.
Your next journey awaits at My Virtual Library Empire
This person wants to co to the Main City to et him. Then he would give details about the token. In exchange, I have to do sothing or owe him a favor.
"That's all," I uttered.
The ssage was simple. But I now knew who the sender was. He is Rhys Perr. To think such a dangerous person is staying in the Main City, which is exactly under their True Elents Society's nose. I don't know what our Intelligence Tower people are doing.
Apart from Head Stella, I don't think there are capable people in that departnt. Then I thought of sothing important. My expression beca tense.
Perhaps half of the organization is compromised because of internal politics. People working for the Aristocratic Families may also work in the Intelligence Tower.
But this letter is important. I looked at the ti. It's really unwise to step out at this hour. So I decided to give it to Elder Paul the next morning.
The following day,
In the late morning, at the Main City, Rhys Perry and Aaron Perry were in the private house of the Perry Family. It was an unauthorized area. No one ca or went out of there.
It was also the safest place for them to operate.
"Do you think he will co?" Rhys asked. His voice sounded calm, without any irritation.
But Aaron Perry shuddered. Ever since this madman had returned, he had been living in a nightmare. He wanted to go back to the current family head.
But this madman wouldn't listen. With a blood-drained face, he replied, "Lord, I don't know."
Hearing that, Rhys knitted his eyebrows. It was not only about his son. He had to get back the Black Token at any cost.
If that kid ca to the Main City, then it would be good. He could get revenge for his dead son and retrieve the token as well.
But if not, he would have to take drastic asures, even if it affected the family.
Aaron Perry stood and observed the situation with fear in his heart. He didn't know what was going on, but he thought the madman was planning sothing.
"Let's see...if he doesn't co today, then we will take action," Rhys muttered.
But it fell like a thunderclap in Aaron's ears.
"What will we do?"
"Surely, he is going to undertake a dangerous job again?" Aaron cursed aloud in his heart.
Ti passed.
In the Perry Family Estate, the current Family Head, Cooper, was reading the reports. Ever since his brother had returned, the reports had increased as well.
He had dispatched a few older wizards to observe his brother. Currently, his brother is in the Main City with Elder Aaron Perry.
He was sure that his brother was looking for a way to kill that kid nad Vincent Carey. But it wouldn't be easy.
Cooper picked up a recent report about his brother and read it. His eyes flared with anger a couple of minutes later.
He had told everyone that news about his brother's return should not be made public. But not only had his brother gone to Verdant City, the old wizards had also seen him going out of the city as well.
He read another report that sothing had happened in an old town near their Verdant City border. A powerful wizard had wrecked the place. He didn't know why his brother's image ca to mind when he thought about the matter.
Then he thought of Aaron Perry. He thought Aaron Perry knew what his brother was up to. So he summoned him right away.
Back in the Main City, private house.
A few minutes earlier, Rhys noticed soone was calling Aaron Perry. When Aaron Perry answered the call, his expression changed.
