From MC's Perspective:
"It's them, what are they up to?" I said to myself.
Outside,
"Check, where is he?"
The person who has the magic scroll spoke. Seeing that, everyone rushed to the washroom to see.
Creak!
They forcibly opened the door and saw no one inside.
"What?"
"He is not here!"
"Did he escape?"
The wizards shouted one after another.
Then they saw the window. It was a sliding door type. Anyone can co and go through it.
Then they misunderstood that Vincent Carey escaped through it.
"He might not have gone far!"
"Let's go and catch him!"
"Move!"
The Beast Taming Wizards spoke one after another before leaving.
The staff behind the counter saw how these wizards started running as if they were after soone.
A few of them saw Vincent Carey going to the janitor's room earlier. Find more to read on My Virtual Library Empire
They imdiately understood that a bunch of people were targeting Vincent Carey. But they didn't have the power to interfere.
Inside the Gregor Mansion, I saw how everyone frantically looked for before leaving the place in disappointnt.
"Zero, tell about the conversation related to ," I asked.
"Master, this is what happened..."
Zero Puppet started to reveal the conversation about .
About 20 minutes later,
The Zero Puppet finished stating everything and stood silently.
"Council Elder?" I muttered to myself.
Earlier, I thought it was so kind of bullying planned by other departnt wizards.
But it turned out their departnt's Council Elder had given them a magic scroll to use on . The magic scroll has a binding spell.
My mouth curved into an arc.
Only an idiot would believe that. Especially in my current situation, why would any Council Elder appear?
The departnts that are causing trouble for are the Bloodline Beast Departnt and the Beast Taming Departnt.
I think it must be a Council Elder from either of the two departnts. After yesterday's failed attack, they must be looking for ways to capture or kill .
The binding spell may be one of their tricks. Hereafter, I have decided to be careful of the people around .
Then I deactivated the Zero Puppet.
About an hour later,
Swoosh!
I appeared back inside the janitor's room and imdiately left the place. By this ti, no wizards were here. The whole canteen was empty.
Those who were working were inside the kitchen.
About 10 minutes later,
I walked out of the dorm building. I saw no sign of the Wizards. They must have gone sowhere to look for .
Then I started heading toward the Special Mage Departnt.
anwhile,
"He is gone!"
"We missed the chance!"
"He won't co back again!"
"What if he reports us to his elder?"
The Beast Taming Wizards discussed among each other.
The person who held the magic scroll was disappointed. His face turned ugly.
He then said, "Let's go. We will think of sothing tomorrow."
Hearing that, others felt the sa and they left the place.
...
At the sa ti, Council Elder Milo was waiting to hear the good news. As ti passed, he didn't hear a single sound coming from Vincent Carey's dorm building.
He knew that once the magic spell was activated, the whole dorm building would be destroyed and the wizard students would die along with it.
Buzz!
His communication watch buzzed. He saw it was another ssage from Aaron Perry. His face turned ugly. He imdiately thought of that dangerous wizard.
"Who is he?" he asked himself.
After coming from there, he had been trying to figure out his identity. But he couldn't find anyone matching the Perry family so far.
Aaron Perry himself was an important mber of the Perry family. Yet he was addressing that person as a Lord.
"Was he a relative of the current Family Head?" he asked himself.
His eyes glead with a twinkle. It's not like he didn't know anything about the Perry family. He knew that the current Family Head had siblings.
But that person had left the Perry family a decade ago, so he was not sure.
"Anyway, I need Supre Resources. As long as I can kill Vincent Carey, I will get the resources," Milo muttered to himself.
He was not afraid of offending the people behind Vincent Carey. Once he got the Supre Resources, he had made up his mind to leave the True Elents Society.
He had been trying to collect Supre Resources in the True Elents Society. But it was not easy. You have to earn rits for that. And his own salary was not enough to buy Supre Resources.
So when he heard of the Supre Resources offer from that person, he had decided to betray the True Elents Society. He wouldn't care what would happen between the factions. He would leave the Ancient Redwood Country itself.
After gaining so clarity, he decided to visit Vincent Carey's dorm building right away.
Shortly afterward,
He appeared at the dorm building. It was night ti, and everyone was asleep. Milo's eyes flickered. He realized that sothing must have happened for the students not to take action.
So he decided to et them in the morning.
Swoosh!
He disappeared from the spot.
...
Special Mage Departnt:
In the new room, I'm lying in bed while my eyes look at the ceiling. My thoughts were around the canteen incident.
Why would the Council Elder give a magic scroll with a binding spell in it to the first-year students?
It feels absurd to . I don't want to see them again. Who knows if that Council Elder was waiting there to attack again?
Even if I told Elder Paul Lin, he might not take any action. He would wait for Head Howard Mason to arrive.
On the other hand, the attack on would increase if this incident were leaked to the public.
"To think I'm under the radar of the Council Elder," my eyes flashed with seriousness. The Council Elder is a level-9 Wizard. So I can only rely on myself.
It would be better if I got a magic artifact to deal with him.
