From MC's Perspective:
Conor Parker collected his thoughts before looking at Vincent Carey.
"It's one of my family collections. But I will sell it to you," he said with a smile.
Margot sighed in relief. She was worried that her father wouldn't be able to agree because the red scroll is from the family collections.
"How much is it?" I asked.
"The price is 10 million Super Grade Mana Stones," Conor said imdiately. Actually, he made the number up. He didn't know the exact value of the red scroll.
On the other hand, I was shocked. Clearly, I felt the value might be higher, even though they didn't know about the wisp of magic in it.
Its value can be raised since it's a family collection.
"Are you sure?" I asked again.
"Wizard Seed Vincent, you can take it," Conor said in a firm tone.
Hearing that, I nodded and thanked him before collecting the red scroll into the storage bracelet.
Fortunately, I had earned money through previous bets and sales. Then I asked for his account before wiring the amount to him.
"It was nice to et you, Mr. Conor. I'll co by next ti," I said to him.
"Okay," Conor replied with a smile. He was happy to make connections with Wizard Seed Vincent Carey, who has a bright future ahead.
Then I was about to leave when I recalled Margot as well.
"Ms. Margot, see you next ti," I said to her.
"Wait!"
"Wizard Seed Vincent, I have one doubt. I hope you can clear it," Margot asked.
My eyes flickered with interest. Then I nodded to her.
"Last ti, you won the duel against Tom Doyle. But I hadn't made any bet last ti. So this ti, I'm going to make a bet on you."
"How confident are you about your match against Peter Doyle?" Margot asked.
Hearing that, Conor was shocked. He didn't expect his daughter to have thoughts on the bet. But still, he felt it was impolite to ask sothing like this.
Hearing that, my mouth curved into an arc. I could tell that the Parker family wanted to climb the heights of the Silver Tower. So, I was the middle person here.
Then I collected my thoughts and replied, "I'm going to win. So you can bet on ."
"Thanks," Margot said.
Then I nodded to both of them before exiting the shop.
Margot was carrying a happy smile on her face. She was going to make a lot of money two days later.
"You are really daring. You are not afraid of offending him," Conor asked his daughter.
To be honest, he was impressed by his daughter's question. Even he had forgotten about the betting things, which are a famous event during the magic arena.
Most of the people interested in the magic arena are there because of the betting events. It's a chance for everyone to make money. Then he sat on the sofa.
Margot sat on the opposite sofa. She then collected her thoughts before saying, "Father, Wizard Seed Vincent doesn't have supporters in the magic city."
"There are not many wizard seeds like him who co from a humble background. I think Wizard Seed Vincent needs us just like we do," she added.
"You are right. Maybe we can contribute to Parker Auction House," Conor said with a smile.
"I believe Grandfather will be happy. There are other auction houses that have magic towers or other forces behind them."
"If we get the support of the Silver Tower, it will be helpful," Margot said.
The father and daughter had clever plans in their minds. It could only be possible if they continued to maintain a good relationship with Vincent Carey.
On the other hand, I was returning to the Silver Tower in a flying cab. In the back seat, I was looking at the passing scenes through the window.
At the sa ti, today's events were running through my mind. Though I was not able to get what I wanted, I got my hands on the Magic Lord level scroll.
Not only that, I had made important connections as well. Susan's friend lissa has an extraordinary background. I believe there is no harm in maintaining relationships with her.
Similarly, the owner of the Whispers and Relic shops is a serious person as well. He and his daughter clearly wanted to make connections. Rather, they were more interested in making connections with the Silver Tower.
Suddenly, a thought ca to my mind. I rembered searching online about the store. There seed to be a big auction behind this store.
I took the digital device out and started to search for it. The information about the Parker Auction House appeared on the news feeds.
Then I started to scroll down the page. The articles were all about the Parker Auction House's dire situation.
A hint of interest appeared in my eyes. Then I opened one of them and began to read.
Ti passed.
About a few minutes later, the cab driver dropped off at the main street. I paid the fare before stepping out. Then I collected the digital device into the storage bracelet.
Now, I understood the enthusiasm of the father and daughter duo. Mr. Conor's father was running a major auction house, but their current situation was bad.
They are being pressured by the other major auction houses because they have strong backers.
If the Parker Auction House doesn't get any backer soon, their business will die out eventually.
A quick gleam appeared in my eyes.
"Why don't I buy a share in the Parker Auction House?" I asked myself.
In this way, I wouldn't run out of money. At the sa ti, I could use the auction house to collect various treasures and antique items. I wouldn't have to rely on the underground storage room items.
The more I thought about it, the more it felt like a good idea. If I could beco a shareholder in a major auction house, then I wouldn't have to use old ways to plunder and kill. I could have a legitimate source of inco.
After the magic arena duel, I'll make a decision on this matter. Then I arrived at the Silver Tower and entered inside.
