From MC’s Perspective:
One after another, the wizards entered the building. Soon, it was my turn. I showed my ticket and walked inside. No one suspected because of the mask.
Since it was an auction event, most of them had co in disguise to hide their identities. I walked upstairs to reach the second floor.
There were private rooms there. After arriving on the floor, I saw the female staff mbers. I showed them my ticket, and they unlocked the door to Private Room 3.
Creak!
I opened the door and walked inside. There was powerful glass on three sides, capable of withstanding spell attacks.
However, I didn’t know whether it could withstand the spell attacks of Supre Wizards and Magic Lords.
I sat in the seat. Compared to before, I was becoming more sensitive, since I knew what was going to happen. After calming my heart, I started using the system function.
I wanted to know whether any Forbidden Wizards were present.
A few minutes later, I heaved a sigh of relief. The system results said that no Forbidden Wizards were present. I relaxed considerably.
[Ding! Warning!]
[Active Sealing Artifact detected.]
The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, my heart stirred once again. Just as I had relaxed, my heart was thrown back into turmoil.
I stood up from the seat and started walking back and forth. When I bought the ticket, the system had shown the sa caution.
Now, it was telling the sa thing, but this ti the Sealing Artifact was active. This ant that as long as soone used mana, the sealing power would take effect.
I didn’t know what would happen then. To be honest, I could use the Gregor Mansion to hide.
But what about the others? Once the fight broke out, the Level-9 Wizards would beco collateral damage.
I could only wait in my room now. But I couldn’t say for sure what would happen once the auction started. A Forbidden Wizard might arrive later.
By that ti, the seats started to fill. The wizards had huge expectations. Though the final auction item had been revealed earlier, they were hoping that the other auction items wouldn’t necessarily be bad.
anwhile,
On the other hand, Young Master Hale Sutton and Guardian Marvin arrived at the auction. They t with City Lord Dorian and the Auction Manager.
City Lord Dorian was nervous. When he saw Young Master Hale and Guardian Marvin, he relaxed a lot because he had seen many Supre Wizards and a few Magic Lords entering the venue.
He had been nervous that the Magic Lords might ask him questions, but they had gone straight to the private rooms.
However, when he saw that Elder Abel was not with them, his eyes flashed with fear again.
"Young Master, what about Elder Abel?" he asked.
Hale looked at him and said, "The Elder will appear at the right ti. You can start the auction."
Hearing that, Dorian got worried. He thought about the artifact and asked, "Young Master, the Artifact is in place. It can be activated at any ti."
"Among the guests, there are Magic Lords. What if they break the barrier?" he added.
His words startled the auction manager next to him. He didn’t know what they were talking about.
Hale’s eyes narrowed. His gaze fell on the auction manager.
"This idiot," Hale muttered.
Then he glanced at Guardian Marvin. Marvin disappeared from his spot and appeared behind the auction manager.
Pfff!
Before the auction manager could say anything, a tal spike pierced his heart and mana core. The old man was in disbelief. Soone killed him... for what?
He closed his eyes unwillingly.
City Lord Dorian ca back to his senses. He realized he had divulged secret information in front of the auction house manager.
Hale then turned towards City Lord Dorian. He was angry.
"If not for your position as City Lord, you would have died many tis. Do you think we don’t know about the Magic Lords here?" Hale asked in a cold tone.
Hearing that, Dorian lowered his head. He didn’t know what to say. He had made a mistake, and because of it, the old man from the auction house was killed.
He also realized that Elder Abel might have noticed the Magic Lords already. Since Elder Abel was relaxed about it, then he should be as well.
"How many people are yet to co?" Hale asked.
He was in a bad mood. He didn’t want another mishap to occur.
Hearing that, Dorian was taken aback. He glanced at the corpse before turning towards the Young Master.
He smiled bitterly and said, "Young Master, the only person who knew that is lying dead here."
Hale was pissed off.
"Go and ask the staff mbers. They are doing their work," Hale said.
Hearing that, City Lord Dorian left the room. Marvin collected the corpse into his storage bracelet.
"Fortunately, the room has magic formations. Otherwise, the Magic Lords would have found out," Marvin said with fear.
He was a Supre Wizard. Compared to Magic Lords, he was weak. Hale saw through his thoughts.
Hale said, "Don’t worry, Elder Abel will co at the right ti. Since there are no Forbidden Wizards, he is not willing to make a move yet."
"The Sealing Artifact is enough to suppress them," he added.
Marvin relaxed. He knew about the plan, but he was afraid of being a pawn because the real powerhouses had yet to co.
If the Mage Union learned about this, they would definitely send soone. He was afraid of being a discarded pawn.
"Young Master, I believe you," he finally said.
Hale nodded his head before sitting on the sofa.
Marvin stood behind him.
Hale was thinking about the next plan. The first plan was to trap them. The second plan was to kill them. The second plan was going to be the hardest.
But fortunately, they had made enough preparations. With Elder Abel’s thod, they could eliminate all the wizards here.
Thinking about this, a broad smile appeared on Hale’s face. Guardian Marvin saw that smile. His heart filled with fear. It looked creepy. Even he didn’t know about the next plan.
So he was curious about what was going to happen next.
