From MC’s Perspective
We continued to walk down the mountain path. Soon, we reached the foot of the mountain.
After coming to the foot of the mountain, the different wandering groups parted ways. They went in different directions.
Hank and the two old n were leading the way forward. They were not going in the direction of the sand region.
Instead, they were moving away from Vulture’s Hill City. They were going towards the prosperous area, away from the remote area.
The two old n were chatting and laughing with Hank. Otto and Patrick were alert as always. Otto would know if the surroundings were not safe.
Patrick had years of experience as a bandit leader, so he could find the traces of robbers.
On the other hand, my system would warn if there was a presence of a Magic Lord or Forbidden Wizards nearby.
Ti went by.
That evening, we entered the dense forest. Yet, a lone old path ran through the middle of the forest.
It was a new experience for . I doubted I would use the old narrow path if not for the wandering wizards.
Because I would usually use the raven aircraft. Now, I thought it was a good experience to live the life of a wandering wizard.
After traveling for so ti, we reached the middle of the forest. But the sky had darkened. It was night ti.
We decided to find a safe place to stay because the forest was filled with the trouble of bandits and magic monsters.
[Ding! Warning]
[Ding! Bandits were detected.]
The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I paused my footsteps. I turned towards Otto and Patrick.
They seed to realize my movents.
Otto and Patrick turned towards . Otto perked up his ears. His eyes glinted with understanding.
Hank and the two old n stopped after seeing them.
"What happened?" one of the old n asked.
Hearing that, I said, "Bandits!"
"There are bandits ahead. It appears to be a bandit group. But the strength of the bandits were not strong," Otto said in a solemn tone.
Hearing that, the two old n exchanged looks.
"We heard that the bandit groups were moving in different places. We didn’t expect them to be here," one of the old n said.
"Let’s go and deal with them," I said.
Hearing that, everyone agreed and started walking forward. But the two old n were confused. They didn’t know why the two Supre Wizards were quiet.
Rather, the Level-9 Wizard in the middle was talkative.
It didn’t take long for them to co across the bandit group.
The bandit team was a small-ti group. Upon seeing us, they were at first keen to attack.
But when they discovered the strength of the wandering wizards, the bandit groups stopped and fled in different directions.
Seeing that, the team didn’t chase them. Instead, they continued with their journey.
Ti went by.
After many hours, the group exited the dense jungle and ca to the fertile plains. There were agricultural lands stretching across endlessly.
The two old n sighed. It was not their first ti visiting here. Then they shared the information that there was a town located ahead.
Once we crossed the town, we would find the path ahead to the city.
Hearing that, everyone was looking forward to entering the city. But when we got near the town, sothing else was waiting for us.
Dense smoke and fire were covering the skies. It appeared that the town had faced so attack.
What more? So far, I had not seen a single person in the agricultural fields.
Then we rushed towards the main gate.
"Stop!"
"No one is going to enter!"
"Trespassers will be killed."
Multiple shouts ca from inside. In a flash, a few figures appeared from inside wearing bandit clothes.
Upon seeing us, they launched a direct attack without sensing the power of the Supre Wizards here.
[Ding! Warning]
[Ding! Supre Wizards were detected inside the town.]
A quick gleam flashed in my eyes as the system voice sounded in my mind.
"Deal with the Supre Wizards inside first," I said to Otto and Patrick.
Both of them nodded to . They were still in their characters.
Swoosh!
The next second, they disappeared from the spot. The two old n went with them as well.
They were Supre Wizards as well. For a second, they didn’t even spare a glance at us.
Only Hank and I remained on the spot.
"Master!" Hank uttered.
"Don’t worry. As long as there is no Magic Lord, we will be fine," I said to him.
Boom!
Four Supre Wizards killed the wizards who appeared just now. In a flash, they entered the town.
We decided to wait here. I used the system function to check whether Magic Lords or Forbidden Wizards were inside or not.
The system result was negative, which gave double assurance.
Hank didn’t know what to do. He was actually nervous. If they didn’t have Supre Wizards in the team, then what would have happened?
Then he suddenly realized there was a 10th Order Vine Monster with the Master, which made him sigh in relief.
anwhile, Otto and Patrick fought with the big bandit groups. Even the two old n failed to recognize the bandit groups.
They soon realized that there were people who wanted chaos after hearing of the destruction of Sand Fall City. The first group to take advantage was the bandit groups.
They had co here from different plains. But the unfortunate thing was that they had co across us.
About 20 minutes later, four of them returned. Their clothes remained untouched, but their expressions were gloomy.
Patrick and Otto ca to my side. The two old n appeared before us. Their expressions were unsightly as well.
"What happened?" I asked them.
"The bandit groups had migrated from different plains. They had already killed the townspeople. So of them were captured inside."
"We have released those captured people," Patrick said.
Otto said, "I have checked; there are no other bandits outside the city."
