From MC’s Perspective
In the hotel room, I was waiting for the three of them to arrive. I wanted to know what was going on in this city, compared to the news shown in the dia.
The intel collected by Otto was way better. He had many years of experience doing this. So, I continued to wait.
Creak!
The next second, the door opened. Hank and Patrick walked in with solemn expressions on their faces.
My eyes flickered. I didn’t know what had happened to Otto.
"What happened?"
"Why isn’t Otto here?" I asked back to back questions.
Hank and Patrick greeted the next second.
"Master, he told us to go forward. He had so other work to do," Patrick said in a calm tone.
Hearing that, I turned towards Hank. Then Hank said the sa thing.
"Then why do you guys have such grave expressions?" I asked again.
"Master, we felt the presence of Magic Lords in the city. We don’t know whether they are good or evil Wizards," Patrick said.
Both of them sat down on the sofa opposite .
Their information was crucial. If Magic Lords are present here, then it’s necessary to find out their identities.
If they are from the Mage Union, then I have to be careful. I believe the likelihood of that happening is low.
Maybe it could be Magic Lords from other forces. Then I thought of Otto. I guessed it was better to wait for him.

Otto heard about the Mage Union, so he was following a conversation. He didn’t know who was talking about the Magic Tower and the Mage Union.
But he continued to collect information. Soon, he ca across a luxurious building. It wasn’t a hotel, but it appeared to be soone’s private building.
Otto was hearing the conversation from inside the building. He wanted to go inside, but he was afraid of exposing himself.
Creak!
Just as Otto was about to do sothing, he heard the sound of a door opening from inside. He then left the place and hid among the crowd.
A middle-aged man with long white hair stepped outside, accompanied by an old guard.
The white-haired man had pale skin and blue eyes. He was wearing a mage hat and an overcoat on top of his suit.
But there was a silver tower badge on his chest. The mana coercion coming from him was that of a Supre Wizard.
Otto was looking at this scene. He was more afraid of the old man standing next to the middle-aged man.
The old man was dressed in a butler suit. He had short grey hair on his head, but he had a big black moustache.
The mana coercion coming from the old man was greater than that of the Supre Wizard. Otto was terrified in his heart.
"Magic Lord," Otto thought.
The old butler opened a black umbrella for his master. But then, he turned towards the street opposite him.
His gaze t with the middle-aged man looking at them.
Otto’s heart skipped a beat. He made eye contact with the Magic Lord. The next second, he withdrew his gaze and walked through the crowd.
In the blink of an eye, he disappeared from their sight. He rushed back towards the hotel.
The old butler then turned towards the Young Master.
He said, "Young Master, soone is spying on us."
Hearing that, the white-haired middle-aged man frowned. He too had found the gaze of an unknown person earlier.
"Go and follow him. I want to know who is behind him," the Young Master said.
The next second, the old butler left the spot. He went towards the crowd where the unknown man had left earlier.
The Young Master then frowned before going back inside the building.
At the sa ti, Otto was rushing back to the hotel.
A few minutes later,
I was going through online articles on the device. Hank and Patrick were doing their own work.
[Ding! Warning!]
[Presence of Magic Lord detected near the hotel.]
The system voice sounded in my mind. The next second, my expression changed drastically. I stood up.
Seeing that, Hank and Patrick were taken aback. They stood up as well.
"Master, what happened?" Patrick asked.
Hank’s eyes flashed with fear. He had never seen such a serious expression on his Master Vincent’s face.
Creak!
The next second, Otto opened the door and walked in. His face was filled with terror.
Seeing that, my eyes glinted with understanding.
"The three of you, hold hands together right now," I said in a commanding tone.
The crimson curse on their mana cores acted. The three of them did as asked. Then I brought them inside the Gregor Mansion.
The dark root vine monster was resting. Upon sensing the presence of everyone, it woke up.
At the sa ti, I entered the control room. Then I appeared in front of the control mirror. My heart was racing. If my assumption was right, then soone would enter the hotel room.
The next second, I saw an old man wearing butler clothing walk into the room. The next second, the system gave a warning in my mind.
A hint of seriousness flashed in my eyes.
I didn’t expect I would co across a Magic Lord so soon. It appeared he had followed Otto back here.
The old man was confused because there was no one in the room. He spread his ntal power, but he got the sa result.
He then thought that he was fooled by soone. So, he left the hotel room angrily.
On the other hand, I morized the old man’s face and clothing. First, I decided to learn what was going on.
Because I thought the old man could co back again. It was absolutely not safe to appear outside during this ti.
Then I appeared in the hall. My gaze fell on the four of them, including the vine monster.
"Otto, what happened?" I asked.
Hearing that, Otto said, "Master, you told to keep an eye on the Mage Union and Magic Tower’s information. I have found sothing."
