Thornside City
Huge chaos broke out in the city. The shops and other businesses were quickly abandoned. The people were taking their families and fleeing the place.
They understood that a huge disaster had broken out. Yet, the Magic Lord didn't appear. Only the loyal followers of the Magic Lord stayed back.
So of them went to the city office and stood in front of the gate. Apart from a few old guards, the rest of the guards had abandoned their positions.
At the sa ti, the magic trees were breaking down. The mana power leaking from the magic thorn trees was disturbing the city. The violent mana power began to strike the nearby buildings.
The buildings weren't able to withstand the violent mana. The buildings started to crumble. The broken slabs and walls fell to the ground.
Swoosh!
The Supre Wizards took action and shifted from their places. Each of them appeared in front of the magic thorn trees. They tried to control the violent mana from causing destruction.
But they weren't able to fully control the situation. The locals started fleeing. Everyone saw sothing wrong with the tall trees standing all over the city.
Everyone saw the Supre Wizards were trying to save them. Yet, most of them wanted to leave the place. Even the Magic Lord didn't appear. They didn't have trust in the Supre Wizards.
The city guards stationed at the main gate knew the situation. So, they opened the main gate and allowed the people to leave.
Boom!
As ti went by, the violent mana coming from the Magic Lord-level monster continued to cause destruction.
The area around them was completely flattened. The buildings had beco piles of rubble. Those who couldn't escape were buried under the rubble forever.
The wizards who couldn't leave were helpless. Especially, the wizards below Level 9 and Level 8 were turned to blood mist.
No one could escape the powerful mana outbreak.

The strong wizards who heard the strong commotion earlier from the ancient pit started coming.
There were a few Supre Wizards and so Level 9 wizards.
They wanted to check out the chaotic mana above the ancient pit, but the situation at Thornside City drew their attention.
The faces of the Supre Wizards changed drastically.
Swoosh!
They flew over to the city to help the people. The Magic Thorn trees started dying.
Boom!
One of the magic trees landed on the ground with heavy force. The vitality in the magic tree disappeared.
The magic tree dried up in the blink of an eye. It didn't take long for the other magic trees to fall down one by one.
When they fell to the ground, they created huge craters. The impact force swept away the nearby places and flattened the area further.
Pfff!
A middle-aged Supre Wizard coughed up blood. He couldn't withstand the coercion and violent mana of the magic tree monster.
The condition of the other Supre Wizards wasn't good. They ca to the realization that they needed to safeguard their families first.
If they continued to stay here, they would be injured, and their families wouldn't be able to escape the disaster.
So, the Supre Wizards gave up and went to rescue their families. The outsider Supre Wizards who ca to rescue them found out that the Magic Lord was nowhere to be seen.
Several minutes later,
If the Magic Lord was here, he would have saved the city. But the outsiders didn't know about Magic Lord Johan's secret.
Only the local Supre Wizard families found out sothing was wrong. They rescued their family mbers and imdiately vacated the city.
Among the locals, a few people spotted the Supre Wizards. They were shocked to the core. If the Supre Wizards were fleeing, then they should leave the place as well.

Ancient Pit
Many Supre Wizards appeared above the clouds of the ancient pit. They were here for the ancient pit. They ignored the crisis of Thornside City.
They were all interested in the things hiding deep inside the ancient pit.
A short-haired old man said, "I didn't expect the ancient pit to cause trouble after all these years."
"Ha...Ha...Ha...!"
"This is going to be interesting," an old woman let out laughter.
"Two seniors. We should take action before any Magic Lord cos," a middle-aged man said.
Hearing that, the faces of everyone changed drastically. They had a chance right now, but if the Magic Lord appeared, it would cause more problems.
The wizards gathered here were from Level 9 to Level 10. The Supre Wizards all wanted to explore the ancient pit.
But the Level 9 wizards stayed behind. They were going to watch everything from the sidelines. If they tried to intervene, they would be attacked by the Supre Wizards here.
The wizard resource, which was free, was hard to co by. Their eyes were filled with greed right now.

The next second, these wizards entered the ancient pit without thinking anything further. They went down into the pitch-black darkness.
The Level 9 wizards stayed outside. They wanted to fight for the leftovers.
As the Supre Wizards descended, the feeling of the unknown disturbed their minds. They could see so outlines in the dark.
But they couldn't completely see the giant in the black water. Earlier, the late Magic Lord Johan saw the giant and piled up treasures.
Still, the evil hand killed him. These Supre Wizards were even more clueless now. Eventually, they landed on the ground.
Everyone sighed in relief.
"We are safe!"
"We can explore the place right now."
"Soone uses your gadget to illuminate the place."
The Supre Wizards discussed.
Boom!
The next second, the evil hand appeared above the water. The coercion spread across the place. The terrifying coercion struck the Supre Wizards in the blink of an eye.
Their bodies were blasted away in different directions. A few of them smashed into the walls, while others landed on the ground with a heavy thud.
All of this happened within seconds.
