From MC Perspective
My eyes continued to observe the giant corpse and the broken hand. Then, I made a decision.
If I didn’t test my strength against the giant corpse now, I might not get the opportunity again. I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion and brought the Zero Puppet into the control room.
The Zero Puppet was still active. It had a few super-grade mana stones left. I told the puppet to monitor the mirror.
The place outside was pitch black. I told the puppet to gather as much information as possible; I wanted to know the difference in strength between us.
The Zero Puppet agreed. Then, I appeared outside and got ready to attack the beast.
"Gravity Blast"
I raised my hand and cast the magic spell. A gray light containing rule power released from my hand. The spell attack went shooting towards the giant corpse.
In a flash, the gray light struck the giant corpse.
Boom!
A deafening explosion occurred. The shock force spread across the place, hitting the walls and sweeping away the black soil on the ground.
The severed evil hand located at the bottom of the dark lake was disturbed as well.
[Ding! Warning!]
[Ding! The evil hand was triggered]
The system voice sounded in my mind. I had thought the giant corpse would react. Instead, sothing else happened at the bottom of the lake.
The evil hand shot up from the bottom of the dark water.
Swoosh!
In a flash, the evil hand appeared and hovered in mid-air.
I sensed that sothing big would happen to the giant corpse. The attack had only left a small crack on its chest.
My eyes turned solemn. The giant corpse was not ordinary. Then, my gaze turned towards the evil hand next.
Compared to the giant corpse, the evil hand was more dangerous.
Boom!
The evil hand couldn’t sense the enemy’s location, but the hand moved. A terrific coercion was released from the evil hand.
The black-colored force spread across the place.
At the sa ti, a sense of crisis gripped my heart. I felt terrific oppression from the black force.
"Repulsive Force"
I cast another magic spell. A powerful repulsive force released from my body. The gray light of the repulsive force swept across the surroundings.
My gaze locked onto the scene. I wanted to know the result of the collision.
Boom!
In a flash, it ca in contact with the evil hand’s force. The collision of the two different forces occurred.
The dark force of the evil hand easily shattered the power of the repulsive force. Then, the dark force continued to move forward.
Boom!
A deafening noise occurred. This ti, the sense of crisis didn’t stop; it continued to increase. I saw that the repulsive force had failed to stop the dark force.
Now, the dark force was coming at . If I didn’t do anything right now, my body would shatter into pieces.
Swoosh!
The next second, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion and quickly arrived in front of the control mirror.
The dark force didn’t stop until it collided with the surrounding walls.
The evil hand’s power destroyed the surrounding walls, causing big rocks to fall from above.
The evil hand continued to hover in mid-air.
After watching this scene in the control mirror, I made a decision to leave later. I didn’t know whether the evil hand had other cards.
So, I continued to stay there.
Ti went by.
The commotion quieted down. The falling rocks stopped after so ti. The evil hand continued to hover in mid-air.
The rocks had buried the piles of corpses and broken magic items.
If soone wanted to find sothing on the ground, they would have to remove the rubble.
One hour later,
The evil hand moved and subrged into the dark water. The evil hand then rested at the bottom.
A few minutes later,
Swoosh!
I appeared outside. I hovered in mid-air before going towards the surface. My speed was faster than before.
In a flash, I left the ancient pit and appeared above in the sky. The bright blue skies greeted . The white clouds looked beautiful.
I stood in mid-air. After the breakthrough, it was the first ti I was seeing the environnt.
I saw the environnt was filled with an ocean of colors. When I continued to observe further, I saw gray-colored light coming towards like a small stream of water.
The gray stream of water covered a couple of seconds later.
"Affinity," I thought.
Because of the Superior Top Talent, my gravity affinity was greatly increased.
"It’s the gravity mana. Then what about the rule power?" I said in my heart.
Then, I continued to observe the gray stream of water. I saw hidden runes in it. The runes were in a pattern but dark gray in color.
My eyes glinted with understanding. It was the first ti for to witness the gravity magic rule.
I cald down my turbulent heart. I then collected my thoughts before turning towards the city. Since the Magic Lord Johan was dead, I could visit the city now.
Next, I left the place and started moving in mid-air towards the city.
It didn’t take long for to arrive there, but the scene in front of shook to the core. The whole city was in ruin.
Except for the weak and old, not many people could be seen in the city.
"What happened here?" I asked myself.
Then I landed on the ground and started walking towards the city. I saw weak people outside the gate itself.
I gave a few mid-grade mana stones to them. Then, I asked about the city. An old man took the initiative to speak. He started explaining things to .
A few minutes later,
"Sigh!"
A long sigh escaped from my mouth. I didn’t expect the demise of Magic Lord Johan would lead to such a catastrophic incident.
All the Magic Trees had died. Their death had made the place unliveable.
