From MC’s Perspective
Days passed by.
The Raven aircraft was moving towards the Magic City. I had set the speed to normal mode because I was using these days to learn more about the Supre Wizard and the Magic Lord.
Supre Wizard magic spells were different. I ca to know that a truly powerful Supre Wizard could use their rule power to increase the power of a spell attack.
It was the sa case with Level-9. But once you beca a Supre Wizard, the rule power would really show its true strength because your understanding of the rule had reached a certain level.
That’s why the bald-headed old man was able to use an avatar-type spell attack filled with rule power. Because that old man had reached the limit. He was one step away from becoming a Magic Lord.
Though he didn’t have a variety of spells, his understanding of rule power was great. That’s why he was arrogant compared to other wizards. If he had died, it would have truly been a loss for the Crimson Order.
That is why spell attacks from the Supres can cause great damage to the surroundings. I had witnessed what would happen to a city if a Magic Lord fell. Thornside City was the best example.
So, these days, I have been collecting information from Patrick, Otto, and the Vine Monster.
The next day,
Hank ended his seclusion and walked out of the room. His mana was different than before. He had beco a Supre Wizard.
At the sa ti, one of the four crimson orbs in my mind beca darker. Now, all four crimson orbs were the sa color.
When I felt the changes, I imdiately appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. Then I walked into the hall and saw Hank among them.
"So, you have beco a Supre Wizard," I said to him.
Hearing that, Hank turned around.
"Master, if not for the opportunity given by you, this wouldn’t have been possible," Hank replied with a smile.
"Master, now you have four Supre Wizards under your command," Patrick said with a chuckle.
"I don’t think anyone can harm us. We can walk boldly in the city," Otto said from the side.
Even the Vine Monster’s body swayed in agreent. But I remained silent. They forgot that I had escaped from the hands of a Forbidden Wizard before.
It was too early for them to be happy. But my return to the Magic City was set in stone. Nothing could be changed.
"Alright, you guys talk." After saying that, I disappeared from the spot.
Otto’s face changed. He said, "Did you guys notice the Master’s expression? Sothing is troubling him."
Patrick frowned and said, "We should put our childish thoughts aside. I think the Magic City is not a peaceful place. The real crisis awaits us there."
"We can only support the Master from the side," Hank said.
The Vine Monster was quiet. It was an existence from the old era, so it didn’t know how strong the force behind the Master was.
Back in the cockpit, I made a phone call to Manager Lara, and the call connected. Seeing that, I was stunned.
I had been trying to contact her for the past few days, but she had only just attended the call.
"Manager Lara, what happened?" I asked her.
"Vincent, listen. I’m captured. Soone locked up in Dust City in the Dark Territory."
"Co and rescue ." After saying that, she ended the call.
"What happened?" I asked her.
But the call was disconnected.
anwhile,
Lara was locked up in a cell bounded by anti-magic chains.
The device was then snatched by soone dressed in black clothes. The person was none other than Forbidden Wizard Remi.
He looked towards Lara with a smile on his face.
"I never thought you would dare to leave the Magic City. It was your mistake. Now that you are locked up here, I’m sure that kid will co here."
"Then I’ll kill him personally, giving no chance for the Silver Tower’s dominance in future." After saying that, Remi left the place.
The next second, two wizards dressed in wandering clothes appeared in front of the cell. Their job was to protect the cell.
Remi was leaving the villa. If he had wanted to, he could have killed her that day. But he knew Forbidden Wizard Charlotte must have given her sothing to protect herself.
Unless absolutely necessary, he wouldn’t take the risk. He was not interested in her life or death. Instead, he was more eager to eliminate the kid.
That kid had been escaping from his grasp for so ti. Ever since he had heard soone with Sub-Taboo magic had joined the Silver Tower.
The entire Black Tower unofficially marked Vincent Carey’s na on the kill list. Earlier, everyone had thought they would have plenty of opportunities to kill Vincent Carey in the future.
Because Vincent Carey was one of the wizard seeds at that ti. Not even an official mber of the Silver Tower. He was soone who could be discarded like a pawn.
But to everyone’s surprise, Vincent Carey’s growth was rapid. He had surprised everyone by becoming a Level-9 Wizard in a short ti.
The progress was comparable to that of the Young Giants. The "Young Giant" was a title given to those wizards who were young, but whose magic level was on the level of top powerhouses.
Many such Young Giants were in the world. The main families behind each magic tower had their own Young Giants.
The existence of Magic Giants was important to the magic towers and the Mage Union because they were the true pillars of the magic towers.
Once they grew up, nothing could change the foundation of the magic towers.
Both the Silver and Black Magic Towers had their own Young Giants. The backgrounds of the Young Giants were not ordinary either. Powerful families were behind them.
So, it was close to impossible to assassinate them. Both families had people in the Mage Union as well, so infighting was forbidden.
But the matter of Vincent Carey was different. Though many in the Black Tower didn’t evaluate Vincent Carey to the level of a Young Giant, his progress brought them a threat.
