From MC Perspective
Inside the mansion, I continued to wait. Old man Rock must be waiting outside with the flying salamander. I hoped they would stay in the sa place.
If they were near the city, they would be captured for questioning. Not only them, but the wandering wizards would face the sa situation as well.
Then I thought about the dark wizards. My mouth curved into an arc; they wouldn’t have expected such a turnaround. I wondered what they were doing right now.

anwhile,
The old City Lord, who was a Forbidden Wizard as well, received the news imdiately. He imdiately spread his ntal power to cover the City Lord’s mansion.
He was aware of the Supre Wizards employed in the mansion, and they were not entertaining outside Supre Wizards at this ti.
So, while he didn’t know who had entered the mansion, he knew no one could escape his ntal power.
His power covered most of the mansion, but he didn’t find anything. Then, his ntal power moved toward the guest room.
Just as he was about to scan the room, the old man felt imnse fear and imdiately withdrew.
That place was where the guest was staying, the guest was none other than Forbidden Wizard Remi from the Black Magic Tower.
He changed direction and started checking the prison cells instead.
Manager Lara, who was resting, opened her eyes suddenly. She felt soone spying on her. Then she saw other prisoners wake up one after another.
Everyone had one thought in mind: it was the City Lord. Since the City Lord was a Forbidden Wizard, they were confused about what was happening above.
Lara felt sothing was wrong. Normally, a Forbidden Wizard wouldn’t bother to use their ntal power to scan the city. She thought sothing major must have happened for the City Lord to take action.
...
In the Guest Room,
Forbidden Wizard Remi was annoyed. He knew what the old City Lord was doing. He felt there was no need to worry so much about a "Supre Wizard ant," yet the old man had taken action anyway.
Those with discerning eyes would tell sothing had happened, and it would attract the attention of both white and dark factions in the city.
He least wanted any attention on the mansion during this period. He believed that kid must be on his way here. He stood up and left the room.

In the City Lord’s Room,
The old City Lord sat behind his desk, confused by the intruder he couldn’t find. Suddenly, the space layers in front of him were disturbed. A crack appeared, and a second later, a person walked out. It was Forbidden Wizard Remi.
He looked toward the old City Lord and sneered. "Old man, what are you doing? Are you trying to invite trouble for ?" Remi asked in a cold tone.
Hearing that, the old Magic Lord was stunned. He hadn’t scanned the guest’s room, so why was he angry?
"Lord, I didn’t pry into your room," he said. "I only checked other places to find the intruder."
Remi was pissed off. If not for the situation at hand, he would have attacked the old wizard. He didn’t even bother to explain further.
"Don’t do that again. Let your n find the intruder." After saying that, he opened a space layer and stepped inside.
The old wizard realized that the Lord was here on specific business and broke out into a cold sweat.
If he used ntal power to find the intruder, it would alert other forces who would then try to find out the reason for the Lord’s presence.
"I was wrong," the old man uttered. He then ordered his n to search the city, especially the wandering wizards.

anwhile,
The dark faction people left the area, not wanting to get caught by the mansion guards.
Their team leader left as well; they couldn’t take action against the target now that city officials were searching everywhere. It didn’t take long for small teams from the mansion to begin their hunt.

At Gregor Mansion,
I used the system to check the periter. Once I confird the coast was clear, I appeared outside behind one of the buildings. Following the system route, I moved toward the underground prison.
I crossed many paths before reaching the deeper mansion area. I quickly reached the hatch and opened it.
Seeing the steps leading down, I entered without hesitation. I closed the hatch and was about to descend further when..
[Ding! Warning!]
[Forbidden Wizard is coming.]
A chanical voice sounded in my mind. My pupils shrank. I imdiately retreated inside the Gregor Mansion and rushed to the control mirror.
Beads of sweat appeared on my forehead.
I didn’t know if the Forbidden Wizard Remi had seen . Then, I saw a black-clothed wizard co downstairs. I recognized his face and the badge of the Black Magic Tower.
My eyes flashed; after a long ti, I was seeing Remi again. As always, his face was partially hidden.
Then I heard him mutter, "What’s going on here? I felt soone enter the prison cell, but I feel no presence now."
He disappeared and reappeared instantly in front of Manager Lara’s cell. Seeing it was still locked, he sighed in relief. With a doubtful gaze, he shifted his body and left the prison area.
anwhile,
After seeing that Forbidden Wizard Remi left the cell. I sighed in relief. I was worried that he found out about .
Even the system didn’t even sense his appearance. So I asked the system.
[Ding! Forbidden Wizard Remi used space layers to appear instantly.]
When the system told the answer. I’m stunned. I knew the Forbidden Wizards could manipulate space for travel.
I didn’t expect to witness the scene here.
It ant the system wouldn’t be able to inform when soone used a space layer to appear in front of .
This finding was crucial. Otherwise, I would have blindly trusted the system. The system is powerful but it also grows along with . It certainly needs an update.
