From MC Perspective
Inside the Gregor Mansion, I continued to stay in front of the control mirror. By using the system functions, I learned that there had been massive movent in the city all night.
I decided to wait for the right ti. From the conversations of the prisoners in the cells, I was able to collect a great deal of information.
It was an added advantage, especially since I got the information regarding Dust City and other neutral cities in the Dark Territory.
The people captured here were from various forces. So of them were evil, and others were rivals of Dust City.
They had also revealed a crucial piece of information: the prison guard usually stays here, but because of yesterday's incident, he had joined the search group as well.
Ti went by.
In the early morning, I appeared in the passage. By using the system, I found the location of Manager Lara. I wore a mask and hat to hide my identity.
I walked down the stairs and finally reached the corridor. The cell area was a single floor, but it extended a long way toward the end of the mansion.
There were prison cells on both sides. I imdiately moved toward Manager Lara's cell, located in the last room.
Before the prisoners could realize I was there or see , I arrived. I saw Manager Lara resting on the floor. She had anti-magic locks on both her hands and legs.
My expression turned serious. I imdiately used the system function to see whether I could break into the cell.
The gate and iron bars were made of magic material. The system gave a positive answer: if I used a 7th-stage magic spell, the gate would break.
"Who is here?" an old man shouted all of a sudden.
Gasp!
His words alerted the other prisoners who were half-conscious.
"Gravity Blast!"
I cast the 7th-stage magic spell, targeting the prison gate. A wisp of a gray beam released from my hand and struck the bars. This all happened within seconds.
Boom!
A second later, the magic gate was blasted away. Manager Lara, who was resting, was suddenly struck by the force of the gate.
She fell unconscious. Because of her Magic Lord physique, she was able to avoid severe injury to her body.
I flashed to her side and brought her into the Gregor Mansion. I took her to the control room and stood in front of the mirror. I thought about leaving, but my instincts scread at a second ago.
Then, I saw it in the control mirror. Space cracked inside the prison cell, and soone walked out from the rift. The person was none other than Forbidden Wizard Remi.
"Space layer," I muttered.
I didn't know whether he could locate the Gregor Mansion. I raised the doubt with the system.
[Ding! There are many space layers.]
[Ding! People use the lowest layer for instant teleportation within a small range.]
The system's voice sounded in my mind.
"System, I have to find a way to upgrade you," I sighed to myself. The system's words brought relief. It ant I could use the Gregor Mansion near Forbidden Wizards without fear.
Then I saw Forbidden Wizard Remi look at the prison cell. He lost his cool. A trendous pressure released from his body, destroying the cell. The roof was blasted open, revealing the surface above.
Seeing that, my mouth twitched. I was glad I trusted my instincts at the last mont and managed to bring her here.
If I had wasted a few more seconds taking her outside, he would have appeared right in front of . Then, not only would she have been captured, but I would have been as well.
Who knows? He might have instantly killed . His purpose was to eliminate , after all.
"Damn it!" Remi roared out loud.
This ti, the mana above Dust City was disturbed by his sudden outburst. The prisoners in the cells couldn't withstand the pressure from the Forbidden Wizard. Blood leaked from their orifices, and they died. None of them remained alive.

The old man,the City Lord, felt the pressure as well. He left his room and appeared outside the mansion. He stood in mid-air, right above the underground prison cell. He saw that the surface had been blasted open by the pressure.
He swept his gaze across the mansion and saw his n lying on the ground, bloodied. The Forbidden Wizard's coercion had struck them hard; everyone was injured.
His gaze then swept over the city. He saw people outside the City Lord's mansion injured and lying on the ground. It was early morning, a normal ti for locals to take a walk.
The old man was angry. The outsider had warned him not to use coercion, but now Remi himself had used it and destroyed the prison. He could tell that none of the prisoners were alive. They had died under the pressure.
He grew even angrier. So of those prisoners had significant backgrounds. He had kept them locked up to gain leverage over their forces.
Veins popped on his forehead. The old man's heart was boiling with rage.
Swoosh!
The next second, he disappeared and reappeared in front of Forbidden Wizard Remi.
"Lord, what have you done?"
"Because of your coercion, my n and the locals outside the mansion gate are injured," he said in a cold tone.
"Most importantly, your pressure has killed the prisoners. So of them were highly valuable. The forces behind them pose a threat to Dust City. I had them locked up for protection, but you killed them all. What am I going to tell their factions?"
The old man was lashing out face-to-face against Forbidden Wizard Remi. His saliva even landed on Remi's face. The old man didn't realize what he was doing; he had lost his mind to rage.
"You have caused a huge problem for . Now the Dark Faction will use this chance against !"
"So, what are you going to do?" the old man continued.
He had no idea how truly angry Forbidden Wizard Remi was.
