From MC Perspective
A day later,
The Raven Aircraft reached the border. I turned toward Manager Lara.
"I think we should not disclose our identity," I said to her.
"Deactivate the stealth. I will show my identity; they won't dare to inspect the aircraft further," Lara replied.
Hearing that, I understood. She was a Magic Lord and the Manager of the Silver Tower. Others wouldn't dare make things difficult for her.
I turned off the stealth mode. A second later, the Raven Aircraft beca visible.
We exchanged seats. I moved into the cabin while she took the pilot's seat and began driving toward the border gate.
Swoosh!
The aircraft drew closer to the gate. Various other vehicles were moving toward the sa point. Our beautiful craft drew the attention of passing travelers, but none dared to probe it.
They knew anyone who could afford such a vessel must have a powerful background.
Shortly afterward,
The massive gate ca into view. On the other side lay the border town. Lara continued to pilot the aircraft, flying directly toward the gate.
Swoosh!
Two Level-9 Wizards stepped forward to stop the
aircraft. They were the officers stationed here.
Both wizards were respectful; they knew few
people used personal aircraft in the Magic City. They suspected the identity behind the glass was significant.
However, they had a job to do. They could not let an unidentified person enter the Magic City borders.
Lara lowered the window. One of the wizards approached, and Lara presented her Silver Tower Badge and ID.
When the officer saw them, his heart fell into turmoil. As expected, she had a high status but it was even higher than he had imagined.
The woman in front of him was Manager Lara of the Silver Tower, a Magic Lord.
After confirming her identity, the wizard nodded respectfully. The window slid shut, and the Raven Aircraft soared across the sky.
The other wizard rushed to his side and asked, "What happened?"
"That person was from the Silver Magic Tower," he uttered.
"What? Fortunately, we didn't offend her," the other replied.
anwhile, in the cabin,
I sighed in relief. I hadn't expected to pass the border this smoothly.
"See? You were worried for nothing. From now on, people will associate this aircraft with , so you can use it without worry in the future," Lara said with a smile.
I thanked her. My thoughts drifted to old man Rock and the others. I wondered what my team mbers were doing right now.
Then, I thought of the Forbidden Wizard, Remi. My mouth curved into an arc.
"If he learns about her return, he'll be pissed. I won't be surprised if he destroys Dust City," I thought.
Swoosh!
The Raven Aircraft continued forward. I watched the scenery pass through the window. The Magic City was surrounded by nurous satellite cities, each ho to prominent wizard families.
I needed to find a place to establish my organization. I couldn't carry my mbers with all the ti; I needed them to work for .
I had originally planned to open the organization in a remote city, but too much had happened there. I wasn't planning to go back. It would be best to open it in one of these satellite cities instead.
I turned to her and asked, "Manager Lara, do we have control over any of the satellite cities?"
Lara was taken aback. She thought for a mont before saying, "Yes, we do. Most of the allied families of the Silver Tower live in cities under our control. That way, they are protected from the sches of other forces."
My eyes flashed with excitent. I had thought of opening an organization based in Dark Territory. But it was too risky.
It was high ti I opened a branch here. It's going to be safe here.
"Manager Lara, I plan to buy a mansion. I can't stay in the Silver Tower forever," I told her.
Lara nodded understandingly. She explained the factions inside the Silver Tower to . Vincent Carey was no longer just a "Wizard Seed"; he was now a main mber.
Factions would be watching him. Since he had close connections with Lord Charlotte and Erwin, the factions behind them would favor him.
However, hostile factions would likely cause trouble. It was all a battle for resources, backed by the Elders who served as the backbone of the Silver Tower.
"Elder Dana," she thought.
Lara's eyes brightened. How could she forget her? She knew Vincent had completed a mission for the Elder before, so his status wasn't bad at all.
"Don't worry," she said. "I'll find a suitable mansion for you, ideally near friendly factions."
I sighed in relief. First, I would establish myself in the Magic City. Then, I would build my organization.
Two hours later,
We reached the Magic City. The Raven Aircraft soared through the sky toward the Silver Tower.
Lara suddenly thought of sothing important. "Vincent, are you going to ignore them?"
"Who?" I asked.
"Your friends?"
"Friends?" I muttered. I shook my head. "We are from the sa Magic Tower. They are my colleagues, but we can't be friends anymore."
Lara didn't know what to say. Last ti, Jason Nicholson, Wilfred Cox, and Susan Park had said absurd things out of jealousy.
She had hoped they would resolve the matter, but she realized now the rift was unrepairable.
More importantly, Vincent was now a Supre Wizard. His status was far above theirs; the relationship was dead.
Shortly afterward,
The Raven Aircraft reached the Magic Tower district. Spies hidden in the shadows saw the modern aircraft entering the airspace.
They were surprised; none of them had seen a craft like this before. They imdiately tracked it, desperate to know where it was going.
Then they finally saw the aircraft stopping in front of the Silver Tower. Everyone's expressions changed drastically.
The Silver Tower was one of the top 3 Magic Towers. When it cos to the matter of the top 3 Magic Towers.
Every major force pays attention. They didn't want to miss out on any single information. This ti it was the sa.
