Crystal City Shop
Boom!
Magic Lord Scott was not holding back. Even though he was using brute force, he went for the kill.
Because of it, Elder Blake and Rock took the impact. They weren’t going for the kill; instead, both of them were trying to stop Scott.
It turned out to be fatal for them. Old man Rock was already injured and was only managing with his remaining body strength.
He received several blows to his side. Though he blocked most of them, a few landed squarely on his body.
Puchak!
As ti passed, the old man failed to hold on. He coughed up blood at one point.
"What happened?" Blake asked. He could tell the old man was badly injured.
"Ha... Ha... Ha!" Scott laughed out loud. "One is down. Now it’s ti for you," he said before attacking Elder Blake.
On the other hand, I saw that old man Rock was injured. "Old man Rock, get down! There is no need to fight!" I shouted.
Hearing that, old man Rock nodded and landed on the ground. He looked bloodied. I told the mbers to take him inside.
Before that, I handed him so healing potions. Edmund gave him so healing herbs as well. Seeing that, I thanked him.
Edmund looked serious. One ally was down, and he didn’t know how long the other could last. He thought his ti would co soon.
He couldn’t let Magic Lord Scott touch Shop Owner Frank. If he weren’t here, it wouldn’t be a problem, but since he was, he had the responsibility to protect Frank.
A few minutes later,
"Aaahhhh!"
Elder Blake let out a scream. His head looked bloodied. He couldn’t fight against Magic Lord Scott alone.
He was completely overwheld and got injured instead. He was old and weak compared to Scott, whose body strength was far superior.
Puchak!
Blake spat blood from his mouth and landed on the ground a mont later. He couldn’t fight anymore. He looked at and apologized. He needed urgent healing herbs right now.
Seeing his condition, I called for Otto and asked him to take Blake inside. Before he could, officials arrived and took him into the mansion.
I gave the healing herbs to Otto and asked him to give them to Elder Blake.
"How many healing herbs do you have left?" Edmund asked from the side, his eyes fixed on Scott in mid-air.
"Not much," I replied. I didn’t expect Leader Edmund to ask that.
Swoosh! To my surprise, he disappeared from the spot and reappeared in mid-air a second later. He then started fighting against Scott.
"Are you going to interfere as well?" Scott asked, sounding angry. He wanted to search for their storage bracelets as soon as possible."
"If he delayed further, help from the Silver Tower could arrive. Last ti, he had to leave because of Manager Lara, and he didn’t want the sa thing to happen again.
"I am part of Crystal City as well. We don’t want anyone from the Fla Elental Tower creating problems here," Edmund said in a cold tone.
Scott snorted.
Boom!
A fierce fight broke out between them. They used brute force to clash against each other.
On the ground, I didn’t know when help would co. Earlier, I had received a ssage from Manager Lara saying she was on her way. She will be here soon.
"Hank, co here," I called out.
Hank ca toward imdiately. I told him to go outside and buy as many healing herbs as possible.
"Okay," Hank replied.
As Hank was about to leave, he was stopped by the wizards of the Fla Elental Tower. Magic Lord Scott hadn’t co alone; he had brought Supre Wizards and Level-9 wizards with him.
Seeing that, my eyes turned cold.
"You are not going anywhere. Our Lord wants to search your storage bracelets. No one goes outside," a middle-aged man said. He was a Supre Wizard from the Fla Elental Tower.
Hank turned back toward . I frowned. I needed healing herbs urgently. My gaze swept across the area until I saw the neighborhood people watching.
I spotted Rebecca Ethan among them and sighed in relief. I told Hank to go to her and request help from her parents.
Hank nodded and headed toward her. The Fla Elental wizards saw Hank approaching the neighborhood people. Since they were still inside the community, the wizards didn’t stop him.
They could see what I was trying to do. They thought I was just looking for healing herbs, and since no one was "critically" injured.
The Magic Lords could recover in two days, the middle-aged man assud I was just looking for a way out. He wasn’t going to let that happen.
Ti passed,
Boom! Boom!
The booming sounds continued to echo from the sky. I raised my eyebrows in surprise; I had underestimated Edmund.
I used the System Probe function to check Edmund Smith and Magic Lord Scott. The status panels appeared in front of my eyes.
Both their panels were loaded with high stats. They had a wide range of magic spells in their arsenal, and their comprehension of magic rules was deep.
I took a deep breath before dismissing the panel. If I wasn’t wrong, Magic Lord Scott was serious. They might have figured out that we could be carrying a banned item in our storage bracelets.
I had already put the item inside the System Space, but the other mbers had no clue.
I was afraid the enemies might use a wizard with unique magic to find it, so I hadn’t told the others. But I trusted the system. No one can see through the System Space.
The Fla Elental Tower is going to lose. Last ti, they left embarrassed.
I already got my revenge on the Tulip Auction House, but this ti, the Fla Elental Tower disturbed my peace.
I should do sothing against them as well.
Buzz!
My device began to vibrate. I picked the device and saw the ssage from Manager Lara. Then I read it.
A hint of relief flashes in my eyes.
"She is here," I muttered.
