The status panel appeared before my eyes. Then my eyes started to go through the details. Seeing that the mana core progression, I sighed inwardly.
Because the mana core progression is happening slowly. Which left no choice other than to continue to participate in the Wizard Heart Competition.
Otherwise, considering the threat looming over my head. I would have quit the competition right now.
"Heart of the Eldium Tree," A quick gleam flashes in my eyes.
As long as I can get the Heart of the Eldium Tree. My mana core progression will reach the limit. Thereafter I can solely focus on improving the Gravity Magic Rule Power.
After calming down my heart, I stood up and went to take a bath.

I walked out of the bath. Then I started to get ready. After changing into fresh clothes, I began to comb my hair.

I appeared outside. I raised my head and looked at the bright blue sky. It's a bright new day. But I don't know how I am going to survive.
The hotel is a few distance away from the duel arena building. But I know well that there are killers waiting for .
After glancing around, I decided to take a look down. I walked to the edge of the sidewall. To see anyone suspicious down below.
I reached the side wall and looked down below.
I saw one or two people coming out of the hotel building. If I'm right, they are going to the arena building to watch the duel.
My eyes then swept across the gate where I saw those people last night.
[Ding! Hostile Wizards detected!]
[Ding! Number of people: 4]
[Ding! Host is advised to stay low]
The chanic's voice sounded in my mind all of a sudden. The next second, I retreated backwards away from the edge of the wall.
"Sure, there are wolves around waiting to bite down," I said to myself.
At the sa ti, down below. The Shadow Skull Killer sensed sothing and looked towards the rooftop of the building.
"Hey, did you see sothing?" the tall killer next to him asked.
"No, I thought soone was looking over us," He replied.
"Wait, others are spying on the arena building. We will be called upon soon," The tall killer said.
"Yeah, the target is going to participate in today's competition," He answered.
But they didn't know they had really missed the target just now.
anwhile,
On the rooftop, I looked at the ti. There is not much ti left before the start of the competition. Only 15 minutes left.
I can't be lucky like yesterday. Today is the 3rd stage of the competition. All eight of the level-5 Wizards have to fight.
So I can't miss the competition today. What to do? If I go outside, I will be spotted by the level-8 wizards.
I can fly towards the arena building directly from here. But the killers can easily spot up in the air. Then it will be easier for them to shoot down.
After racking up my brain, I ca across the only solution. Which I thought of last night. Which is to request help from the dean.
Dean Majestic Tower:
Inside the Yellow River Academy, the old man dean was in his place. But there was no hint of calmness in his eyes.
He appears to be worn out. Like he hadn't slept last night.
"Where is that kid?"
"The intelligence unit has almost checked the Capital's important places. But there was no sign of Vincent Carey"
"Did he teleport outside of the Capital," the old man dean asked himself.
He was happy that Vincent was alive and kicking. But he is also thinking about the competition. Their Yellow River Academy got only 2 students in the 3rd stage.
Which other 2 academies have 3 students participating in the 3rd stage. So they have more chances of advancing into the final than the Yellow River Academy.
If it was normal competition between the academy. He wouldn't mind them skipping it. But the winner of the competition will get additional benefits apart from winning the final prize.
He hopes that Mike Curtis or Vincent Carey will get the final prize. If not it would be a huge loss to their Yellow River Academy.
Suddenly, he thought of sothing.
"Should I advise Mike Curtis to be serious?" He said in his heart.
He doesn't know what the council elders of the Taboo Hall are doing. They all listen to the powerhouse of the Taboo Hall who is a controversial figure as well.
He hopes that Mike Curtis won't hurt the interest of the academy.
