From MC's Perspective:
Night ti,
I'm sleeping in the control room of the Gregor Mansion. But the sound of soone barging into the room jolted awake. Then I saw the appearance of the middle aged man.
Seeing that he is frantically searching the room. I realized sothing was wrong and he must be here for . Anger rose in my heart.
My heart wants to take them down. But I started to like my new job. The Purple Chamber of Comrce, even back ho it can be rated as a huge organization.
I don't want to waste this nice opportunity.
Sigh!
I let out a sigh after calming down my anger. It can't be helped. Unless there is a good opportunity present itself, I can only lay low for a while.
Outside,
The gang leader Vince was frustrated and disappointed before leaving the inn. He has instructed the inn owner to tip him off when a foreigner shows up.
Hawk Family:
A gray haired Elder dressed in white clothes is reprimanding 2 middle aged n standing before him. They were the ones who had confronted the foreigner earlier.
"You guys wasted such an opportunity. Do you want those thugs to take credit," The old man said.
He was one of the candidates for the Artifact Identifier Test. But he has failed in it. All because a foreign showed up out of nowhere. Now he is angry at the foreigner.
"Co on, make the foreigner disappear. Then the administration will conduct the next exam," The old man stated.
Hearing the 2 middle aged man accepted the order. They are both level-7 Wizards. The old man thought it's a bit of an overkill to send 2 high level Wizards.
But he wants the matter to an end. Only the high level wizards can do it without alerting anyone.
The Following day,
After getting ready, I appeared back in the room. I looked around before my gaze fell on the broken wooden knob. Then I walked down the stairs.
The Inn owner sitting behind the desk with a pale face.
His face changes drastically after seeing .
"You, where have you been last night?" He asked.
"Ahem"
"I arrived early in the morning. I had worked through the late hours," I replied.
"All right, but you are no longer welco to stay at my inn." With a dejected expression, the owner of the inn said
I sighed inwardly. It was expected though. How much longer can the run-down hotel owner put up with the gangs' harassnt?
"Okay, I'm leaving then," I placed the room key on his desk after saying that. I then paid for my stay here with mid-grade mana stones.
The inn owner accepted the mana stones.
I started walking in the direction of my office after leaving the inn.
I found people following , as usual. This is the first ti I want to avoid becoming upset with them for what they did
A few minutes later,
I arrived at the office building. Seth was there as usual. After greeting him, I entered the main building through the back door.
The staff are working inside. There are different rooms. I spotted soone handling herbs. Seeing that my eyes flickered.
There are many divisions inside the Purple Chamber of Comrce. It's just the branch office. What about the main office, given the size of the work here?
"What are you doing here?"
A beautiful voice brought my thoughts back.
When I turned around, I found Cory Anderson staring at .
I said, "Miss, I am just heading to the office room."
"All right, I need to talk to you about sothing too," she stated.
I solemnly nodded my head in response. Then we both walked towards the basent. Nobody spotted her arrival. Even the Old Butler was not with her.
After entering the basent room, I turned on the lights. Then all the piled up items on the floor ca into view.
Cory examined everything before responding, saying, "Yesterday, I reviewed your work report. However, the pace was insufficient."
"We have a ton of stuff that needs to be unloaded from the shipping goods, aside from these unknown items," she continued.
"What?" I exclaid in surprise.
My mistake was assuming that these unidentified items were the final goods. Considering that there are still items that have not been opened, I am at a loss for words.
"I have already told you. Right now, the company is losing money. The other departnts are also working very hard. We need to sell treasure items, such as scrolls, fruits, herbs, magic artifacts, potions, and other natural treasures," she continued.
"So, what should I do?" I asked.
Cory nodded her head before proposing a plan.
"We need five magic artifacts per day. So I can deal with other branches through negotiation or sales. It is difficult for you, I know. If you want you can live here," After saying that she observed Ethan's reactions.
"The Building has all the facilities like the hotel. In addition, you are permitted to select five items for free each month of work," she stated.

When the Hawk Family ca to know about this. They were more frustrated. They thought that foreigners were deliberately overworking to avoid them.
Not only him, the Vince Gang mbers made the sa guess. Vince inford Butler Joe about this.
Then Butler Joe quickly ca to the Purple Chamber of Comrce. He got access to the basent office. Soon, he arrived at the place. When he tried to check in. His access was denied.
A hint of disbelief appeared in old butler Joe's eyes. He has the highest authority next to the Young Miss. Not even the Families enjoy these privileges. The old fox quickly realized sothing.
He went back to Missy's place. She is living in a luxurious villa behind the Purple Chamber of Comrce. From here, she can enter the Purple Chamber of Comrce through a special entrance.
When the old butler ca. The maid inford Cory about this. Cory walked outside. She was dressed in a combat suit. Seeing the old butler Joe, a hint of displeasure flashes in her eyes.
She has made a guess regarding this.
"Miss, my access to the basent was denied," Old Butler Joe asked.
"Why do you want to go to the basent office? I never told you," She said.
Butler's old face turned ugly. He is unable to respond with argunts.
"Miss, I found out the office lights were still on. So I went down there to check," The Butler ca up with an answer quickly.
Cory smiled. She saw through him. She did not reveal him, though.
"Yes, the foreigner is working there. I gave him a difficult task to complete. He won't be able to go outside without finishing it," She said.
A look of understanding dawned on the old butler's face. If he still stays here, then he would be slapping himself on his face.
Then he left the villa. However, his face was twisted. He can see that young Miss is set on protecting him. This authority revokal is just a warning. Even his position would be questioned if he oversteps further.
Sigh!
"I can't go against the Young Miss. It is likely that she learned about the Vince Gang. I will tell them to stop," The old butler Joe sighed to himself.
But he doesn't plan on reminding the Hawk Family. The Hawk Family Elder Bribed him before. It is best for him if he disappears.
