Mr. Zhou was from Hua Country.

He attended university dostically, and after graduation, went to Arica for further studies.

After that, he remained in Arica to continue studying, working, and living.

In Arica, he t a white Arican girl.

They fell in love and entered the marriage hall.

Although the couple hadn't had children yet, their life was exceptionally happy.

Until one day.

After getting off work, Mr. Zhou discovered his wife's emotions were sowhat strange and her ntal state very unstable.

Mr. Zhou showed concern for his wife and asked her what had happened.

His wife was initially unwilling to speak, but later, through tears, she revealed the situation.

It turned out that both Mr. Zhou and his wife worked for a large Arican company.

They were just in different departnts.

A new supervisor, a white Arican man, had joined his wife's departnt and harassed her daily.

Especially on one occasion, when her new supervisor almost succeeded in his advances.

This made his wife increasingly tense and ntally chaotic.

Both her work and personal life beca a complete ss.

After learning about this situation,

Mr. Zhou went to the company to confront that supervisor.

But who would have thought that supervisor would stubbornly deny everything, arrogantly challenging him to produce evidence.

This clearly indicated the supervisor knew Mr. Zhou had no evidence, only his wife's verbal testimony.

Helpless, he could only temporarily let it go.

Later, seeing his wife's ntal condition wasn't right, he went to a psychiatric hospital, planning to take his wife for treatnt to relieve her stress.

The one responsible for treating his wife was Lucas.

Lucas truly lived up to being the star doctor of this hospital.

He quickly cured Mr. Zhou's wife, for which Mr. Zhou expressed endless gratitude.

Just like that, Mr. Zhou and his wife returned to normal life, and his wife resigned from that company.

His wife decided not to continue job hunting;

they had been married for several years and it was ti to have a child.

So his wife began preparing for pregnancy at ho.

Days passed one after another.

However, as ti went on, Mr. Zhou noticed his wife's attitude toward him was getting worse.

Mr. Zhou didn't understand why, but he didn't pay it much mind.

Until one day when returning ho.

A seven or eight-year-old boy from his next-door neighbor said to him,

"Uncle, your older brother is really nice."

Mr. Zhou found it very strange - what nonsense was this child talking? He didn't have an older brother;

he was an only child.

Therefore, he thought the little boy had made a mistake.

So he told him, "Did you get it wrong?"

The little boy scratched his head curiously, "That can't be! I often see another uncle going in and out of your house. That uncle even gives candy. When I asked who he was, he said he was your older brother."

At this point, Mr. Zhou felt an inexplicable sense of foreboding.

Then he returned ho and asked his wife if a man frequently ca to their house.

His wife directly denied it and asked him where he heard this news.

Mr. Zhou said from the little boy next door.

His wife said that little boy talks nonsense all day long and to ignore him.

Although his wife flatly denied it,

combined with her increasingly poor attitude toward him recently, he couldn't help but suspect sothing.

So, without his wife's knowledge, he installed several surveillance caras in their ho.

For the first period, he discovered his wife stayed ho all day, and there was no so-called man frequently visiting their house.

He felt relieved, thinking the little boy had been talking nonsense.

But later, he discovered that indeed, a man frequently ca to their house.

And this man ca to his house for no other reason than to cuckold him.

And the one cuckolding him was that very supervisor from his wife's departnt.

When Mr. Zhou saw the surveillance footage, he was furious and exasperated.

He couldn't understand why his wife would do sothing so disloyal to him?

And with that supervisor she hated?

He was blinded by rage.

So he confronted his wife directly.

When his wife saw the surveillance video, she wasn't angry that Mr. Zhou had secretly installed caras to monitor her;

instead, she remained very calm.

She admitted to the affair and proposed divorce to Mr. Zhou.

Mr. Zhou of course disagreed - being inexplicably cuckolded and then divorced?

Without understanding anything, why would he agree to divorce!

So he asked his wife why she was with that supervisor?

To which his wife replied that she loved him.

Mr. Zhou found it utterly absurd.

Mr. Zhou didn't want to divorce, but his wife insisted.

People have legs.

On the third day of Mr. Zhou refusing to agree to divorce, when he returned ho from work,

he discovered his wife was gone.

Moreover, all his wife's personal belongings had disappeared too.

He frantically searched for his wife but couldn't find her.

Then he thought of that supervisor.

He tried to find the supervisor through company colleagues.

Only to discover that the supervisor had suddenly resigned two days ago, and now no one knew where he was.

At this point, Mr. Zhou understood - his wife had eloped with that supervisor.

From then on, Mr. Zhou beca exceptionally depressed, drowning his sorrows in alcohol daily.

One of his company colleagues, a white Arican man with whom he had a very good relationship,

ca to ask Mr. Zhou what exactly had happened.

So Mr. Zhou told him about his wife.

After learning the whole story from beginning to end,

this colleague said there was sothing fishy about this situation.

Mr. Zhou asked what seed fishy.

The colleague said, "Before this, your wife was harassed for so long, even almost assaulted, yet never yielded. Obviously, she detested that supervisor. If that's the case, how could she suddenly and inexplicably get involved with that supervisor later?"

"And according to your account, your wife's behavior seed willing, not resulting from temptation or coercion."

"Such a drastic change in your wife's attitude must have a reason! It's impossible for soone's feelings and perceptions about a person to change so dramatically without cause!"

"The reason, if I'm not mistaken, lies in that psychiatric treatnt!"

Mr. Zhou thought about it and realized that from his wife being harassed to now eloping with the supervisor,

indeed, the only special event that occurred in between was visiting the psychiatry departnt and receiving treatnt.

But, just from receiving psychiatric treatnt, why would his wife change so dramatically?

Mr. Zhou couldn't figure it out.

His colleague provided the explanation.

His colleague told him not to underestimate so psychiatrists or psychological doctors.

They can guide patients' emotions during treatnt, even change a patient's personality, and so on.

His colleague told him that when he was young, there was a middle-aged psychological doctor living next door.

His professional skills were extrely strong.

He used his professional abilities to seduce many respectable married won.

And those respectable won all beca utterly devoted to him.

Mr. Zhou initially didn't quite believe it - how could this be possible?

Shouldn't this only happen in movies and TV dramas?

Aren't real-life psychiatrists just there to treat illnesses and relieve emotional stress?

Could they really be this powerful?

But with his colleague's absolute certainty, plus the fact that there really were no other possibilities,

Mr. Zhou reluctantly believed it for the ti being.
