A thousand Magi rode in tight formation, their armored warhorses pounding across the earth like rolling thunder.
tal plates clattered with resounding sounds, the hooves tore up dirt, and the ground trembled under the advance of the Tiesha Tang n. Dust billowed behind them in a long, rising trail. It was an ominous sight.
The montum of the cavalry was overwhelming, to say the least.
When the Tsuitsui army, which was already fighting the Tiesha Tang’s n by the Wall, heard the roaring sound of hooves approaching from behind, they visibly paled. So even lost their lives because of that mont of distraction.
At that mont, the Vice General of the Tsuitsui army’s voice thundered across the battlefield:
"The Venom Dragon will protect you all! Do not fear! Fight, my brothers! Fight! Fight! Fight!!!"
Hearing Yorihiko’s voice, the Tsuitsui forces roared in unison and continued to fight their foes without worrying about the new army that was attacking them from behind.
They had faith in their leader.
They knew that as long as Goro Tsuitsui was present on the battlefield, they had absolutely nothing to fear.
Back at the rear, the Venom Dragon stood at the head of the hundred-man group. Except for a little more than a dozen, who were at the Mana Vortex Rank, the rest were all at the Mana Liquefaction Rank.
There were a hundred n, planning to face off against a thousand. The odds were stacked against them, yet with advance preparation, as well as the fact that Goro Tsuitsui was leading them, they knew they were going to co out victorious.
Watching the army’s size gradually enlarge on the horizon, Goro had a calm but solemn look on his face. He was confident in taking care of this new army. His poison arts would be enough.
Goro’s poison magic was one of the best in the Tsuitsui Clan, second only to the Patriarch, Dokuto Tsuitsui. That was where his confidence stemd from. That was why the hundred n he’d chosen were all people with high resistance to poison. He knew they’d be able to endure his magic.
The thousand-man army they were facing wasn’t his main problem, however.
It was sothing else.
And considering Han Xun’s personality, Goro knew that it was certainly a possibility.
I must quickly deal with this new army and return on ti, he thought to himself solemnly.
"Prepare yourselves," he ordered.
"Yes, General!" The Magi roared, then consud a pill. This was a highly potent antidote, ant to serve as an additional safety asure against Goro’s poison.
Once the hundred n had taken their antidote, everything was set in motion. The thousand-man army was almost upon them. Goro and the n could see their ruthless expressions as they rode their warhorses.
At last, Goro stepped forward as he weaved a set of complex hand seals. Then, he raised his foot and stomped it on the ground.

The ground shuddered.
First, it was a faint tremor, but then... a violent jolt!
A pulse of earth magic rippled outwards from Goro’s foot, turning solid soil into soft, unstable muck. The wave spread fast, running beneath the hooves of the charging warhorses before the riders even realized what was happening.
One by one, the mounts lost their footing. Their legs sank, and their ankles twisted. Montum threw the horses and their riders forward in a chaotic collapse. Their armors clattered, the Magi scread, and an entire line of cavalry crashed into the mud in a single sweeping downfall.
The thousand-man charge was broken in an instant!
Goro imdiately capitalized on this opportunity he’d created. He bent over ever so slightly, gauntleted hands clenched close to his chest. Soon, his aura started to distort the very air around him.
From colorless to green, to an even darker shade of green. The mana around him started to visibly corrode the ground. However, his gauntlets remained unhard. Perhaps, they were forged to withstand Goro’s highly corrosive poison.
Once the Venom Dragon had gathered enough mana into his fists, the silhouettes of ferocious serpents coiled around his hands. Their shapes twisted and glowed with an ominous light, each one ford from toxin-laden mana.
He exhaled slowly, lowering his stance.
The serpents tightened, their jaws opening wide as the power within his fists reached its peak, ready to be unleashed upon anything and anyone that stood in his path.
And then...
Goro charged at the enemy, his figure turning into a dark-green beam of light.
Heavenly Serpent’s Fang!
BOOOM!!
In an instant, he had slaughtered dozens of Tiesha Tang’s soldiers. At the sa ti, a dark-green misama burst out from his body, spreading rapidly across the entire battlefield.
The hundred elites from the Tsuitsui Clan charged in behind their General, stepping straight into the venomous domain.
Monts later, screams echoed within the poisonous haze as a brutal slaughter began.

Standing atop the battlents on the Wall, Han Xun watched with a cruel smirk as Goro’s poison drowned the second battlefield.
All was going according to his plan.
He hadn’t dispatched the thousand-man army to attack the Tsuitsui army from behind, hoping to achieve sothing great. He already knew that the thousand-man would be easily taken care of, given how powerful Goro was.
Han Xun knew it, but he did it nonetheless. He sent a thousand n to their deaths with a cold smile on his face just so he could separate Goro Tsuitsui from the rest of his army.
He had made the situation unfold in such a manner that Goro had no other choice but to detach from his army.
And now, he had achieved that!
He waved his hand and commanded, "Send them in."
Monts later, the gates of the Wall opened, and a formation of fifteen-hundred Tiesha Tang soldiers flooded onto the bloody stage. Their footsteps thundered across the stone ramp and spilled onto the battlefield like a second tidal wave.
Within monts, they rged with the remaining ground forces, swelling the Tiesha Tang army’s numbers and completely overwhelming the battlefield’s balance.
Yorihiko Tsuitsui’s expression darkened. He knew that there was a big possibility that the current situation would play out after Goro engaged with the new thousand-man army behind them. But now that it happened, he couldn’t help but curse inwardly.
What had been a brutal but even struggle instantly shifted. The Tsuitsui army was now outnumbered two to one, their formation visibly thinning against the sudden pressure.
