Adam did not hesitate at all to utilize everything he had.
Every magical spell, every combat technique that he knew of, he would now proudly display and conquer his enemies.
He willed it in his mind and the Staff of Calamity disappeared from his hand. The next mont, a red crystal appeared in one hand and a gourd of wine appeared in the other.
The youth flicked the red crystal and started weaving hand seals at such great speeds that his arms turned into a blur.
As the red crystal dissipated into tiny fragnts, Adam took a large mouthful of wine. His eyes flashed with ferocity and a small, barely visible magic circle materialized in front of his lips.
Then, Adam sprayed the wine through the spell model and bathed the red crystal fragnts before him.
Rank 3 Spell: Adam's Flaming Breath!
A thin crimson line shot forth from the youth's mouth, crossing the distance between him and his enemies in but a split mont.
Then the line transford into a large wave of flas that threatened to devour the necromancers whole.
From the mont his staff disappeared to the tidal waves of flas arriving upon his enemies, no more than a second had passed!
Malcolm's eyes widened in horror as he witnessed the sheer size of this spell. The flaming wave was more than twenty ters in height, and being so close to it, they had already begun to heavily perspire from the heat.
"Quick! Erect barriers!" He roared, his voice laced with panic and urgency.
All three necromancers simultaneously weaved hand seals and pressed their palms to the water's surface. Right in the nick of ti, they were able to finally cast their spell.
Rank 3 Spell: Water Wall!
A thick and large wall of water, bigger than even the flaming wave, erged before the necromancers in a tily manner, protecting them from Adam's vicious spell.
It was a deadly yet beautiful clash of fire and water.
When the two elents collided with one another, they instantly canceled each other.
It was important to note, that it took the combined spells of three Mana Vortex Magi to offset a single spell cast by Adam.
Such was the might of the Tyrant!
The clash of spells resulted in smoke forming and enveloping the waters in a radius of tens of ters. In a matter of monts, the visibility on the shoreline had significantly dropped.
Malcolm and the rest did not have even a mont to rest when suddenly the smoke before them parted—not just in one place, but over a dozen places.
About twenty enormous flaming spheres pushed through the smoke in the sky and flew toward them with unmatched fury and accuracy.
Rank 3 Spell: Adam's Fireball Barrage!
When his enemies gazed at the Fireballs covering the sky, for a mont, they felt as if they had already died.
That mont was as ethereal as it was terrifying.
Amidst the Fireballs, Adam descended upon them like a deity delivering final judgnt. The hems of his clothes flapped behind him and his arms were stretched forward, his palms shaped into claws as he directed the Fireballs towards his enemies.
It was… a breathtaking scene.
There's no defense against such a power… Malcolm couldn't help but co to that conclusion.
At once, he gave the order, "Sink into the water!"
Everyone, except the golem knight, sunk into the sea to escape Adam's wrath, thinking the Fireballs would have no effect underwater.
Or so they believed…
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The Fireballs dove into the water and followed after the Magi from the cult. Despite being subrged in the elent that was their bane, the heat radiated from them barely decreased.
Instead, Adam's dark eyes flashed with ruthless killing intent and he increased the output of mana.
The water started to bubble and within but a mont, instense steam started to rise from the surface of the water.
One could even see twenty enormous spheres burning with unmatched intensity underwater, lighting up the dark.
Adam landed on the surface of the water, conjuring his staff once again. His expression was grave as he gazed at the flesh golem that was still standing on the surface.
This creature hadn't gone underwater with the rest and had chosen to instead tank his spells. As a result, the golem's armor was lted in several places, but apart from that, it looked fairly unhard.
Now that the necromancers had been montarily taken care of, Adam could finally focus on this aberration and take care of it once and for all.
ROAR!!!
The golem with the strength of a Mana Vortex Magus roared at Adam before bolting towards him with unnatural speed.
Adam's eyes narrowed, his pupils flashing with a cunning glint. Then, he disappeared from his spot, rushing towards the golem, choosing to et him head-on.
The golem readied his attack, drawing his broad sword back and aiming to ruthlessly cut the raven-haired youth in half.
Just when the distance was right and the two were right before each other, the golem let out a bestial scream and swung his broadsword with a speed that made it difficult to keep track of.
Adam's eyes slowly widened and his pupils dilated. He revolved his Sphere of Resonance to the maximum output, allowing him to perceive everything around him in slow motion.
He noticed the sharp edge of the broad sword slowly itching towards his chest with boundless bloodlust, aiming to cleave him in two.
But he didn't react. Not yet.
The timing had to be perfect.
20 inches.
15 inches.
10 inches.
5 inches.
1 inch.
Just when the blade was but a couple of inches away from Adam's body, his eyes narrowed into slits and he guided the mana coursing through his channels to augnt his lower body.
Then, he burst forth with his fastest speed!
Adam vanished from his position, causing the golem's broadsword to cut through nothing but his after-image.
Then, he reappeared above the armored aberration, twisted his body mid-air, positioning the Staff of Calamity vertically right above his oppenent.
His lips parted and he coldly muttered in snaketongue.
"Expand."
BOOOOM!!!
