Now reading: Chapter 757: Blade Tornado from Greatest Legacy of the Magus Universe, a Action novel by Esenel.

In the near-distant shoreline of the city, the battle between Nylian Feno and the flesh golem knight was gradually drawing to a close.

Through sheer skill alone, the elf managed to cut off three of the creature's hands. Although the latter profusely bled from all over his body, it did not show any signs of pain or distress.

A true undead creature to the bone.

However, in the bloodshot eyes of the aberrant knight, hints of fear and panic were slowly starting to creep in.

When it had been summoned, it had been given only one single directive - to kill the enemies.

Now, despite his summoners—Zora and Neer—having already died, the directive continued to echo inside his head. Relentlessly.

Either he killed the enemy, or he died trying. Again.

Nylian's breathing was a little strained as he gazed at his opponent who had received cuts from his blades all over his body. Despite that, he remained standing and facing him, albeit fearfully.

"You are one tough creature, I will give you that," said the elf, pointing one of his blades at the golem.

Then, he turned his gaze towards the clifftop. His eyes narrowed ever so slightly when he saw a massive house of cards in the shape of a pyramid standing there.

"What a spectacular spell," he couldn't help but remark.

Then, he thought of sothing as he recalled his conversation with the Headmaster of Saratoga Castle, Marcus Blackwood, so ti ago.

Could it be that he received this spell from the Raven Inheritance? The Headmaster told that the final reward that Adam received was sothing that he deeply yearned for…

Perhaps, Adam yearns for arcane knowledge and spells more than anything else? Hmm, as expected of a genius, I suppose.

His lips couldn't help but curl into a smile. But the next mont, his expression froze when he suddenly felt two more powerful auras no weaker than the flesh golem he was currently facing.

Nylian's expression darkened and he wondered, Don't tell …

That cultist had more Mana Vortex Rank undead creatures up his sleeve.

He then turned to face his opponent, his expression turning extrely grave. "I thought I could play with you a little more," he said, his tone laced with slight disappointnt.

"But it turns out, I cannot. I must make haste."

The next mont, he cast a simple hand seal while still holding onto his blades. Following that, green wisps of wind magic swirled around his feet.

Then, the elf shot towards the golem at an incredible speed. His speed was so fast that it bordered on the art of teleportation!

One mont, he was standing in front of the golem.

Then, he disappeared.

The following mont, he reappeared several ters behind the golem, his blades stretched forward, leaving behind a thin trail of green energy behind him.

ROAR!!

The golem roared to the skies when he suddenly found his last arm severed from his body and plunging into the ocean.

Then, Nylian turned around and kept away his blades inside his storage artifact. Following that, his expression turned solemn.

Extrely solemn as he sacrificed several material components.

After that, he brought forth his hands together, weaving an extrely complex set of hand seals that took him close to half a minute to complete.

Fortunately, he had left his opponent in a state that prevented him from retaliating or obstructing his spell-casting process.

Finally, the elf had completed the physical and material components of the spell that took him decades to perfect after countless trials and errors.

His lips ford a grin and his eyes flashed with anticipation. Then, he conjured his blades again. He took a deep breath and shot towards his opponent.

The elf's figure turned into a blur and in a fraction of a mont, he had arrived before the golem. However, instead of attacking him directly, he began sprinting around him, swinging his blades, producing strong currents of wind.

Gradually, a large magic circle materialized on the surface of the water.

Finally, all three spell components were complete!

This was Nylian Feno's grand spell that combined magic from the School of Invocation, School of Summoning, his mana combat technique that utilized blades, and finally his understanding of the Way.

A destructive vortex of violently rotating green winds, having the appearance of a funnel, slowly rose from the surface of the sea. The vortex completely engulfed the flesh golem and soon pierced the sky.

Rank 3 Spell: Nylian's Blade Tornado!

The strong winds generated by the tornado were in the shape of blades similar to what the elf was wielding.

Thousand of these wind blades viciously swirled around his opponent, digging into his armor, flesh, muscles, bones, and even organs!

Nylian finally ca to a stop, his breathing now more labored than before. He retreated a few steps and watched his masterpiece slowly bloom to life.

His lips curled up into a smile and he couldn't help but remark, "Marvelous."

The green tornado had gradually dyed a shade of crimson as the thousands of blades cut into the flesh golem's body.

When the tornado gradually ceased, nothing remained of the aberrant knight. The surface of the water he was previously standing on was now colored red.

A mont later, small drops of blood started to fall from the sky.

Nylian's white robes were soon colored in specks of crimson, but he did not care. He flicked his blades, cleaning the blood stains on them, and then sheathing them.

Then, he turned around and walked towards the clifftop where Adam's battle was taking place.

His back was straight just like his blades, and his expression was proud and aloof.

In the battle between the Rank 3 flesh golem and the elf, the latter erged victorious.

Furthermore, this was the third Mana Vortex Magus that he had slain today.

He had further consolidated his ever-growing strength from his consecutive battles today, and was now even closer to the next great stage - the Mana Core Rank!

After his grand exploits today, his na would spread far and wide across the lands of Ulier.

Apart from the moniker, the Prodigy of Saratoga, Magi would now call him by another na—a na that would strike fear into the hearts of his enemies.

Nylian of the Red Wind!
