Anna lay in bed, gazing at the ornate ceiling with a dazed look in her eyes.
After spending so ti with Adam, she returned to his manor in Ravenfell.
Her earlier interaction with him had been shocking, to say the least. She still couldn’t believe what had happened.
Never in her wildest dreams could she have imagined to unearth such a big secret. That too from her little brother.
Just what has he gone through while I was away? She wondered.
He speaks as if he’s seen it all. The myriad worlds in the Greater Universe… he speaks of them as if he’d been there personally.
Just… what has happened to him in these past two decades?
As if learning about Adam becoming a Mana Vortex Magus at such a young age wasn’t shocking enough.
For the mont, Anna discarded the mystery of the inheritance that Adam claid he had found the mana extraction technique in.
Just the way he talks, she thought, her ruby eyes flashing with a peculiar light.
It’s like… he knows that whatever he says will happen. No, he wholeheartedly believes that whatever he speaks will co to pass!
Such conviction…
She had only known one other person to have such confidence and conviction in their words, the way they carried themselves.
It was her father.
The King of the Ignisra Kingdom!
Right! That is exactly how I felt when I heard him speak, she thought.
It’s like I was standing before my father. It is undeniable… he speaks like a ruler!
At that mont, two simple words appeared inside her mind.

She couldn’t help but chuckle.

Her thoughts shifted to the mana extraction technique that he had gifted her. Anna’s eyes flashed with delight at the prospect of it.
Song of Immortal Fla… she thought excitedly.
It was an advanced and enigmatic mana extraction technique, sung into existence through will and fire.
It was a dual-nature art, born of contradiction, where the fire consud and purified in equal asure.
When used offensively, the flas erupted like the cries of a phoenix, incinerating all corruption and foes in the user’s path, burning not just flesh, but evil and curse alike.
Yet, when used for healing, the sa fire licks across wounds and shattered bones with gentleness, knitting together what was once broken.
It was undoubtedly a powerful mana extraction technique. More importantly, it would help Anna reach arcane ranks she had never even dread of before.
And then there was this…
The crimson-haired princess flicked her hand, and an ivory card appeared in her palm.
An intricate drawing of a figure was carved on it. It reminded her of the court jesters in tales.
The Joker’s calling card!
He said to visit a town nad Glassford in the Southern Federation, she mused.
Told to infuse mana into this card after I’d arrived at the town square.
Her eyes flashed with curiosity, and she wondered, Does this truly lead to a secret plane?
She was knowledgeable enough to know that secret planes were very rare. It took several Mana Core Magi to co together to build one, after all.
And the fact that Adam had a key to one truly stunned her.
At this point, she didn’t even know whether to laugh or cry.
But sothing’s strange… She frowned.
When he told to visit this secret plane, and stay there and practice mindfullness, I couldn’t help but have this feeling…
That he doesn’t want to stay in Ravenfell for too long.
Is it because of the evil cult he told about?
Or am I simply overthinking?

Jeeling Outpost.
Adam sat at the small wooden table by the window inside his bungalow, his cold eyes following the clouds as they drifted across the night sky.
Before him lay a half-empty wine gourd and a flat cup.
Despite drinking to calm his thoughts, the uneasy feeling lingered. It gripped his heart with a quiet dread, darkening his expression with each passing second.
There was a reason why he’d given Anna the Joker’s calling card…
Sothing’s not right, he thought.
When he’d arrived at his cottage in the valley behind Saratoga, he felt an ominous feeling pervade his mind.
He thought it was due to Headmistress Helene Godfrey casting a spell on his sister’s mind. But when he scrutinized her spirit sea, he learned that it was untainted.
Anna was safe.
But the ominous feeling remained…
Where did it co from? He thought with narrowed eyes.
Was it Ravenfell? Perhaps Saratoga?
Whenever there was imminent danger, his spiritual sense would always send him warnings beforehand.
Subtle at first. But it would grow stronger and sharper as danger approached.
A dangerous light flashed in his dark eyes, and he speculated, It has to be those bastards from the Cult of Bones!
But this ti… the alarm in my mind is almost deafening. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever felt before.
Just what are they planning?
With practiced ease, the raven-haired youth filled his cup again. As he took a sip, he glanced at the skyline of the sprawling town of Jeeling.
His eyes were cold, calculating, and unreadable.
I cannot put Anna in danger, no matter what! He thought.
Yes, I’ll convince her to leave Ravenfell before the tournant begins.
If she still refuses… I’ll cast an enchantnt spell on her.
She cannot be in Ravenfell!
I can feel it…
That place… has already beco a hotbed for death and malice!
Adam slowly closed his eyes, his expression hardening with a fierce, unyielding resolve.
From the narrow slits of his eyes, a pure white light flickered into existence.
Holy and radiant!
…Only to vanish as swiftly as it appeared.
When Adam opened his eyes again, they looked normal. But sothing in them had changed.
His entire being radiated a cold and savage aura.
I won’t let you bastards succeed, he thought.
No matter what it takes!

Galestine Ocean.
Beneath the shadowed depths of these treacherous waters, a colossal ancient being stirred from its long slumber.
Its erald eyes, worn by the ravages of ti, slowly opened. They glimred with a faint, restless yearning for adventure.
Monts ago, this colossal creature had a dream…
In the dream, it swam through the deep waters of Tron, exploring distant places, encountering wondrous beings.
After a thousand years in slumber, it had awoken.
And now…
It wanted to go on an adventure again.
The titanic creature stirred its massive flippers, churning the ocean into a swirling whirlpool of torrents deep below.
With a powerful thrust, it swam westward.
The mighty sea turtle was finally setting off on an adventure once more.
But little did he know…
That dream was no re coincidence!
