In the forest.
Seii stood up, stretching his body. As expected, he felt incredibly light and at ease. The ntal strain he'd previously felt pressing against his physical body had eased significantly, and that subtle imbalance between the two was gone.
Seii knew exactly what this ant.
With a thought, he opened his proficiency panel. A translucent light-blue screen appeared before his eyes:

Seii's gaze locked onto his base stats. As expected, after this latest physical transformation, his Physical Strength had increased by one point, from 30 to 31. That single point was enough to balance out his overly strong ntal Strength, eliminating the sense of imbalance.
With the crisis temporarily resolved, Seii let out a small sigh of relief. Then, he began testing how this Physical Strength boost affected his potential and chakra recovery speed.
First, his potential.
Taking a deep breath, Seii focused entirely and activated his Chakra Refinent Technique at full force, digging into his potential. As he did, his chakra cap visibly climbed on the panel.
About half an hour later, he stopped. He carefully assessed his condition, comparing how he felt before and after the session. In the end, he concluded that this Physical Strength boost had increased his theoretical chakra cap by roughly 3.5 million points.
That matched the boost from his ntal Strength going from 32 to 33. However, it surpassed the 2.5 million-point increase from ntal Strength going from 30 to 31, and even the 3 million-point increase from Physical Strength going from 29 to 30.
Seii was pretty satisfied with that.
Still, compared to the boost in potential, he cared more about the increase in chakra recovery speed—that was sothing that could help him right now, in a real, tangible way.
With that in mind, he paused his Chakra Refinent Technique and quietly waited, letting his chakra recover naturally while keeping an eye on the panel's Chakra stat.
Ten minutes later, he stopped observing.
The panel showed his Chakra had increased by 138,194 points. That ant 829,164 points per hour, and over 24 hours, roughly 19.9 million points. In other words, under optimal conditions, his body could now naturally recover about 19.9 million chakra points per day.
Before today, that number was 17.7 million. This Physical Strength boost had added 2.2 million points to his daily chakra recovery.
While that wasn't quite as much as the 2.5 million-point boost he'd gotten from the qualitative leap when Physical Strength went from 29 to 30, it was still pretty close. It also far exceeded the 1.3 million-point boost from ntal Strength going from 30 to 31.
This showed that part of his potential had indeed been unlocked.
"Not bad!" Seii nodded, pleased.
With an extra 2.2 million points of chakra recovery, the pressure on him would ease up a lot. After this transformation, his body could handle a higher intensity of Body of the Extre training, which would require even more chakra.
But right now, just practicing Dust Release: Detachnt of the Primitive World Technique and Dust Release: Limit Detachnt Technique was eating up a ton of his chakra. He'd already burned through over 70% of his stored reserves.
If he kept pulling from those reserves to fuel Body of the Extre, they'd run dry in no ti. But now, with this extra 2.2 million points, even if it didn't fully cover the cost of Body of the Extre, it would save him a huge chunk. That ant his chakra reserves could last much longer.
Speaking of Dust Release: Detachnt of the Primitive World Technique and Dust Release: Limit Detachnt Technique, after over a month of practice, both had reached level 8. Detachnt of the Primitive World was at lv8 (18,300/50,000)—at this rate, it'd hit level 9 in about three weeks, triggering another qualitative leap. anwhile, Limit Detachnt Technique was at lv8 (43,100/50,000), needing just three days to reach level 9.
However, both techniques had high ceilings. Level 9, equivalent to A-rank ninjutsu, wasn't their limit—level 10, corresponding to S-rank ninjutsu, was their true peak. It'd take so ti to max them out.
On another note, Natural Energy Perception and Natural Energy Control had hit their max level about half a month ago, reaching lv10 (0/0). The leap from level 9 to 10 had transford their effects dramatically.
Now, his ability to sense and control natural energy was leagues beyond what it used to be. Before, there was a cap on how much natural energy he could absorb. Now, as long as his ntal strength held up, he could sense natural energy indefinitely. And if his chakra could keep up, he could absorb it without limit too.
The only thing holding him back now was the concentration of natural energy in the environnt. Even in a barren place like this, he could still gather enough to produce ample senjutsu chakra for Body of the Extre training.
In fact, he was now ready to start training in Sage Mode. But since he still had other skills to work on, Seii decided to put that off for a bit. Once Dust Release: Detachnt of the Primitive World Technique and Dust Release: Limit Detachnt Technique were maxed out, he'd focus on mastering Sage Mode.
