Sitting cross-legged on the ground, Seii couldn't help but let a bit of drool slip from the corner of his mouth as he thought about his progress.
Whoosh~
A night breeze swept through, snapping him back to reality with a shiver. He quickly wiped his mouth and shifted his focus to the lower part of his proficiency panel.
After over three months of practice, most of his skills had reached perfection. Now, only "Chakra Refinent Technique" and "Chakra Control" remained incomplete.
The forr had no shortcuts—it was a slow grind over ti. Fortunately, its progress bar was already halfway filled. With a little over a year left, he'd be able to level it up. Once that happened, using the technique to tap into his potential would be much faster.
As for the latter…
Over the past three months, his "Chakra Control" proficiency had jumped by 11,100 points, going from Level 8 (27,500/50,000) to Level 8 (38,600/50,000). He was now just under 12,000 points away from the next level—a faster pace than he'd expected.
This progress was largely due to two things. First, four of his other skills had reached perfection in that ti, granting him extra proficiency boosts. Second, his persistent work on fusing all seven chakra natures to develop the Bloodline Network had significantly contributed to his gains.
Looking ahead…
Sure, he probably wouldn't learn any new skills for a while, so he wouldn't get extra proficiency from maxing out skills. But just working on the Bloodline Network would be enough to keep his proficiency climbing fast.
Seii estimated that in three or four months, he'd level up "Chakra Control" again. Based on past experience, hitting Level 9 for any skill triggered a qualitative leap, and "Chakra Control" would be no exception.
What would that leap look like? Simple: absolute mastery over chakra.
With that kind of control, developing the Bloodline Network would get a whole lot easier.
Seii was pretty excited about it.
"Phew~"
Letting out a soft breath, he closed the panel and checked the ti. It was evening, but not too late.
Not wanting to waste a mont, Seii ford hand signs and cast the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique," summoning five hundred shadow clones to kick off a new round of training.
As usual, three hundred clones were tasked with absorbing natural energy to produce sage chakra, while the other two hundred worked on developing the Bloodline Network.
As for himself…
Unlike before, he didn't head to the volcano to train "Extre Body." Instead, he sat cross-legged and began casting the "Mirror Heart Technique" to push his Sharingan's evolution.
True, his ntal stat had gone up by one point alongside his physical stat, keeping the gap between them at two points, so he couldn't easily boost his ntal stat further. But his Sharingan's evolution wasn't at its critical point yet, so using the "Mirror Heart Technique" to advance it was fine.
In fact, for the foreseeable future, he planned to dedicate six hours each day—from afternoon to late night—to this technique until his Sharingan's evolution neared (60,000/100,000).
Pushing those thoughts aside, Seii focused, channeling chakra and casting the "Mirror Heart Technique" over and over.
Three hours passed in a flash.
By late night, he started feeling a bit tired and decided to call it quits.
Yawning, he flashed back to his wooden cabin and settled in to rest.
The night passed quietly.
…
The next day.
Morning.
Seii woke up early. After a quick wash and a few enhanced soldier pills to fill his stomach, he prepared for another day of training.
Today, he had a lot on his plate.
First, he needed to test the limits of his transford body to plan his future training. Second, he had to calculate when his next physical transformation might happen based on that plan.
Having a goal made all the difference. Sure, his proficiency panel ensured every effort paid off, keeping him disciplined. But even soone as driven as him could slip into laziness without a clear target. Days could blend together, and before he knew it, ti would be wasted.
So, he needed a goal. That way, he could stick to a schedule, and combined with the sense of achievent from the panel's guaranteed results, he'd stay fully disciplined.
In the end, he'd complete his plan in the shortest ti possible.
With those thoughts in mind, Seii didn't dwell. Like always, he raised his hands, ford the "Ram" seal, and cast the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique."
Poof, poof, poof!
Five hundred shadow clones appeared.
Seii quickly divided them into groups and assigned their tasks. With their orders, the clones dispersed.
Watching them go, Seii took a deep breath and used the "Flying Thunder God Technique" to teleport to the volcano beneath Moon Island.
A wave of heat hit him. Familiar with the harsh environnt, he adjusted quickly, channeled his chakra and natural energy to create sage chakra, and began training "Extre Body."
With his body transford and free from its previous limits, every session brought noticeable progress. It was addictive.
An hour passed in no ti.
Seii paused his "Extre Body" training and checked his condition. Maybe because the session was short, or maybe because his body's endurance was just that strong, he didn't feel any limits yet.
So, he teleported back to the island's surface, checked on his clones' progress, then returned to the volcano for another round.
This went on for most of the day.
By afternoon, as the sun dipped westward, he finally stopped training "Extre Body."
At that mont, he faintly sensed his limit.
Seii opened his panel to check his chakra levels. At the sa ti, he ntally probed the interdinsional space in his forehead, carefully gauging his remaining chakra.
Combining the two, he calculated how much chakra he'd used on "Extre Body" over the past several hours.
A few minutes later, he had his answer: 23 million chakra points in total.
That was 5 million more than the 18 million he'd used before his last transformation. But compared to the 26 million (18 million 8 million) he'd used after shifting the six hours from the "Mirror Heart Technique" to "Extre Body," it was 3 million less.
In short, his body's enhancent efficiency had dropped by about ten percent.
