"Marriage is not child’s play!" Jiang Ning shook his head.

"But I’ve thought it through, and I’ve prepared myself ntally! I’m very clear about it! For soone as powerful as you, having three wives and four concubines is quite normal! The stronger the being, the lower the probability of having offspring in the future. Just alone carrying on your bloodline is unlikely! No matter how you look at it, you won’t be able to marry just one woman in the future!" Ji Mingyue let out all the thoughts she’d been working through over the past days in one breath.

The words were fluent, without a single pause or hesitation.

Clearly, this had been going over and over in her mind countless tis.

She could say it so naturally, without any pause.

Hearing this, Jiang Ning sighed inwardly.

How could he not feel Ji Mingyue’s passionate heart?

Ji Mingyue’s passion was like a blazing furnace.

How could anyone standing next to a furnace not feel the heat?

At this mont, Ji Mingyue noticed the hesitation in Jiang Ning’s eyes.

She then bit her lip, grabbed Jiang Ning’s hand, and placed it over her heart.

"Do you feel it? Do you feel my heartbeat now?" Ji Mingyue looked up at Jiang Ning, her gaze serious.

Feeling the soft touch, Jiang Ning said stiffly.

"It’s a bit big, I can’t feel it!"

Suddenly, Ji Mingyue’s face turned completely red.

She quickly let go of Jiang Ning’s hand.

After one breath, she stared blankly at Jiang Ning.

Their positions remained unchanged, with Jiang Ning’s palm still resting on her, as if sothing was drawing it there.

Seeing Ji Mingyue’s eyes at that mont, Jiang Ning calmly withdrew his hand.

"In another two years," he said, "In another two years, when you’re a bit older, have seen more of the world, and your thoughts are more mature, if your feelings haven’t changed, then I will marry you!"

"Must it be two more years?" Ji Mingyue pouted.

"Yes," Jiang Ning nodded, "You’re still too young!"

"Okay!" Ji Mingyue nodded as well, "Then I’ll wait for you another two years, and in the anti, I’ll take more supplents to grow a bit more, grow a bit taller!"

Then the two continued strolling in the bamboo grove.

A long the way, Jiang Ning could feel that Ji Mingyue was not as burdened as she was just monts ago.

Now her steps were light, occasionally jumping up to asure her height against Jiang Ning, back to the lively girl she was.

Seeing the girl relieved of her burden, feeling the unique aura she exuded, Jiang Ning’s mood improved, and an unintentional smile appeared on his lips.

The troubles that were plaguing him faded away because of Ji Mingyue’s lightheartedness.

"Will you walk to the National Master Mansion?" Ji Mingyue asked.

"Sure!" Jiang Ning nodded.

A mont later.

With Ji Mingyue, Jiang Ning quickly passed through the forest with the maze and arrived at the front courtyard.

As soon as they reached the front courtyard, Ji Mingyue stopped and looked back at the ordinary forest behind them.

"Being here with you feels as comfortable as being at ho," Ji Mingyue suddenly said.

"Don’t overthink it!" Jiang Ning patted her head. "Su Qingying and I are completely innocent!"

Hearing this, Ji Mingyue leaned closer to Jiang Ning.

Like a puppy, she sniffed with her nose.

"But you still carry the scent of the State Preceptor," she said.

Then Ji Mingyue smiled brightly, "But I believe you are innocent with her, after all, she’s rather ordinary, not your type!"

As she spoke, Ji Mingyue proudly puffed out her chest, showing her distinctive charm.

Seeing Jiang Ning’s gaze attracted, she felt even more confident, putting her hands on her hips.

At this, Jiang Ning chuckled.

"You’re pretty cute!" Jiang Ning couldn’t help but pinch her cheek.

Her chubby cheeks were so smooth.

Ji Mingyue shook her head, shaking off Jiang Ning’s hand pinching her cheek.

"Cute is worthless before sexy!" she stated.

Then a sly look crossed her eyes.

"Feel my heartbeat, it’s racing, isn’t there sothing wrong!"

As she spoke, she mimicked her earlier action, grabbing Jiang Ning’s hand and placing it on her chest.

"I can’t feel it!" Jiang Ning shook his head.

"How can you not feel it?" Ji Mingyue said anxiously, puffing her chest.

Suddenly, enhancing Jiang Ning’s sense of touch.

"Your heart isn’t on the right!" Jiang Ning said.

"Oh!" Ji Mingyue’s eyes showed embarrassnt, and she took a step back.

"Now I can hear it!" Jiang Ning laughed.

Ji Mingyue’s rapid heartbeat at this mont was clearly caught by his ears.

"I’m not talking to you!" Ji Mingyue quickened her pace and headed towards the gates of the National Master Mansion.

After taking a few steps, she turned back: "I’ve decided not to talk to you for two days!"

With that, she continued walking forward.

"What about the third day?" Jiang Ning matched his steps to hers.

"Of course, I’ll talk to you on the third day!" Ji Mingyue turned around, hands behind her back, slightly bent over, revealing a playful smile.

At this mont, the golden sunlight just happened to fall on her, highlighting the bright smile on her charming face.

Then she turned around again, her hopping posture resembling a lively little deer.

Her long hair swung left and right, the small hair ornants inserted in her hair jingling lodiously with her movents.

Facing the sunlight, the girl’s graceful figure also revealed curves.

A mont later.

At the entrance of the National Master Mansion.

"I’m leaving!" Ji Mingyue said.

"Okay!" Jiang Ning nodded.

"Rember our promise!" Ji Mingyue said.

"Okay!" Jiang Ning nodded again.

Ji Mingyue extended her pinky finger in front of Jiang Ning, signaling to him.

Seeing this, Jiang Ning also extended his pinky finger, gently hooking them together.

"It’s a promise!" Ji Mingyue said.

"It’s a promise!" Jiang Ning replied.

Looking at the girl in front of him, he felt a few more jitters than before.

"Also!" Ji Mingyue seriously looked at Jiang Ning: "The State Preceptor isn’t as suitable as I am for having children. I won’t let them starve, she would let them starve nine out of three days!"

"What are you thinking?" Jiang Ning reached out and tapped Ji Mingyue’s head.

"Exactly!" Ji Mingyue covered her head and pouted.

"So young, and you’re thinking about these things!" Jiang Ning pretended to tap her head again.

Ji Mingyue quickly jumped away.

"I’ve decided not to talk to you for two and a half days!"

After saying this, she ran away.

Looking at the girl’s hurried fleeing figure, Jiang Ning’s lips curled into a smile.

A mont later, under the cover of Divine Thought, he noticed Ji Minghao receiving Ji Mingyue, which allowed him to retract his Divine Thought with peace of mind.

He then thought of Ji Mingyue, extended his right hand, and looked at his palm.

He rembered the things Ji Mingyue did before he arrived at the Royal Capital.

He silently sighed in his heart.

Then he clenched his right hand into a fist, knowing that his responsibility had increased.

"Ji Minghao!!" he murmured again.

Then he tightened his fist even more, the muscles of his fingers tense, showing that at this mont his fist was using strength.

"If there’s a chance, a helping hand in the future wouldn’t be a bad idea!!" The thought flashed through his mind.

He knew that in the Imperial Family, Ji Mingyue was now closest to the dying old Emperor and her sa father and mother sibling Ji Minghao.

Afterwards, Jiang Ning returned to the National Master Mansion.

...

"Divine Venerable!" Su Qingying greeted Jiang Ning respectfully upon his appearance.

At this mont, she donned a green long dress, as if she was wearing the bamboo forest.

Through the not too thick dress, one could see Su Qingying’s ordinary curves.

He thought again of what Ji Mingyue had just said.

"Sorry about earlier!" Jiang Ning spoke.

"Divine Venerable is too courteous!" Su Qingying responded respectfully, and then said: "If Divine Venerable has a need, Qingying’s attire can be removed at any ti! Qingying once heard that if one were to beco a mother, perhaps one could instantly cut away all Divinity, leaving only humanity!"

Su Qingying then lowered her brows again, adding: "And Qingying might not let her child starve nine out of three days!"

"Uh!" Jiang Ning awkwardly smiled and scratched his head: "You heard everything just now?"

"Qingying heard everything!" Su Qingying lowered her brows, adopting a stance like a little wife, looking not at all like the renowned Great Xia State Preceptor standing before him.

A presence that once nearly drove away Fu Yuan Saint with a single sword!

"Stop thinking about those pointless things!" Jiang Ning gave her a stern look.

"Qingying understands!" Su Qingying lowered her brows, looking like soone enduring grievances.

Seeing Su Qingying in this stance, Jiang Ning seed sowhat troubled.

"I’m going outside to practice!" He opted to escape.
