The three of them sat down by the window.
"Want a drink?" Jiang Ning asked Wang Qintan, holding the wine that the servant had just brought up.

Then she took another sip.

As Wang Qintan was about to pour herself another glass.
"This wine has a strong aftereffect!" Jiang Ning grabbed the five fingers she used to hold the cup.
"Why do you care?" Wang Qintan looked up at Jiang Ning.
"Yes, I care!" Jiang Ning said.
"Alright, I’ll listen to you!" Wang Qintan withdrew her hand without any annoyance.
Then she picked up the aniseed beans on the table and threw them into her mouth.
Crunch—
With a crispy sound, the beans cracked open in her mouth.
"You seem quite relaxed?" Jiang Ning asked.
"Indeed!" Wang Qintan nodded, her legs swinging back and forth under the table, showing her ease.
"You promised to help ! That issue won’t trouble , so naturally I’m relaxed!" Wang Qintan said.
She continued, "I had to delay before because I needed to consider matters concerning my father and sister! Coming to Guangning City was partly to find you to see if you could help through your connections at the Inspection Office."
"Now that I have your promise, I no longer have to worry about it."

As she talked, she swayed her small legs happily.
"You trust my words just like that? It involves Prince Huaian!" Jiang Ning said.

He hooked a bench with his foot and sat down smoothly.
"Lord Jiang, while the Jadescent Nectar from Jiuxiao Building is good, it’s not as good as my cherished Hundred Flowers Brew. Why not give it a try?"
As he spoke, Lu Junyi placed a cup of wine on the table.
"Then I won’t refuse!" Jiang Ning nodded in agreent.
He was curious about Lu Junyi’s intentions in coming here.
With Wang Qintan now with him, Bai Hesong would surely co soon.

Then he looked at Wang Qintan.
"Wang, did you just arrive in Guangning City today?"
"That’s right!" Wang Qintan nodded, her expression slightly cold.
"Do you have a place to stay now?" Lu Junyi asked.
"She’s staying with !" Jiang Ning poured himself a cup of the Hundred Flowers Brew that Lu Junyi brought.
This wine, he had heard ntioned during als at this building in recent days.
It’s said to be a more precious wine than Jadescent Nectar.

Lu Junyi was taken aback by Jiang Ning’s response.
He glanced at Jiang Ning, then at Wang Qintan, and secretly took a deep breath.

"Farewell for now!" Lu Junyi cupped his hands in farewell and then left with his subordinates.
Down the third floor.
"Young Marquis, why were you so much more polite to that Jiang Ning today than usual?"
Lu Junyi glanced at the attendant by his side.
"According to reports from below, Jiang Ning has been frequently going to the Ye Mansion and Shen Wenyan’s Marquis Mansion in recent days."
