Although Flowing Silver Stone is highly toxic, for the Iron-Eating Ants, it is a precious resource that rapidly accelerates their growth.

The Golden Anteater, which preys on Iron-Eating Ants, is also unafraid of the Flowing Silver Stone’s toxicity.

However, the Golden Anteater cannot directly consu Flowing Silver Stone.

Li Wei looked into the distance. The Flowing Silver Stone emitted a faint white glow, dimly illuminating the cavern.

His visibility was about a dozen ters.

Anything further was shrouded in darkness and hard to see clearly.

The occasional flicker of Magic Radiance proved that others were nearby.

Li Wei walked to the edge of the stone platform and looked down.

Five or six ters below him was a lake ford by accumulated Flowing Silver Stone.

If he were to fall, the consequences would be unthinkable.

’No wonder so few people take this path. It’s a dead end.’

Li Wei lay prone on the Golden Anteater’s back, tightly gripping the steel-wire-like fur on its flanks.

The Shadow Attendant used a portion of its Power to hold Li Wei, securing him to the Golden Anteater’s back.

The Golden Anteater extended its hooked claws and began to scale the nearly vertical rock face.

It was much slower than walking on flat ground, but it was as steady as a rock.

There was no sign of it about to Fall.

Li Wei could fly, but he wouldn’t easily reveal this ability unless it was a critical mont.

Flying with his Object Control Skill was his ultimate trump card.

Besides, in a place like an underground mine, his Flying ability was severely restricted.

The advantage of Flying wasn’t significant here.

After climbing several dozen ters along the cliff face, the Golden Anteater finally spotted a landing spot.

THUD!

The Golden Anteater jumped down. Li Wei, after a slight jolt, dismounted.

RUSTLE RUSTLE RUSTLE!

A few Iron-Eating Ants spotted Li Wei and moved toward him.

WHOOSH!

With a flick of its tongue, the Golden Anteater swept up all the approaching Iron-Eating Ants.

CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH!

’Crunchy and tastes like chicken!’

Li Wei had heard that the carcasses of Iron-Eating Ants could be sold for money.

A bio-tal could be extracted from their bodies, with properties several tis better than ordinary tals like iron or copper.

It could be used to forge High Level Weapons and armor.

However, that would require a massive number of Iron-Eating Ants, hundreds if not thousands.

If he had a Spatial Ring, Li Wei might have been willing to collect them.

For now, he decided to just let the Golden Anteater eat them.

RUSTLE RUSTLE RUSTLE!

More and more Iron-Eating Ants began to appear.

Li Wei saw Iron-Eating Ants crawling out of the silvery Flowing Silver Stone Lake.

The Golden Anteater relentlessly flicked its tongue, devouring the Iron-Eating Ants.

’Even an elephant can be brought down by enough ants.’

Li Wei had the Shadow Attendant clear a path, intending to leave this dangerous area.

They were too close to the Flowing Silver Stone Lake; the nest might be right underneath it.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

The light of a torch appeared up ahead.

A group of people had ford a team to clear out the Iron-Eating Ants.

The Iron-Eating Ants were small and not easy to deal with.

RUSTLE RUSTLE RUSTLE!

"Careful! A Tier One Iron-Eating Ant!"

Li Wei turned to look as a black-and-red Iron-Eating Ant, over half a ter long, erged from the darkness.

The fist-sized ones were Tier Zero Iron-Eating Ants.

The Tier One Iron-Eating Ant scurried toward the group, followed by a swarm of variously sized Tier Zero Iron-Eating Ants.

CLANG!

Blades struck the Iron-Eating Ant’s body, sending sparks flying.

The Iron-Eating Ant’s body was as hard as iron.

The Tier One Iron-Eating Ant was even more fearso!

SNAP!

The Tier One Iron-Eating Ant’s mandibles snapped shut, biting a Refined Steel Sword in two.

The Warrior with the Broken Sword scrambled back.

FWOOSH FWOOSH FWOOSH!

Arrows flew through the air, striking the Tier One Iron-Eating Ant.

The arrowheads glanced off the ant’s body, showering sparks.

Their attacks failed to inflict any significant damage.

"Get out of the way!"

"Mountain-Splitting Slash!"

A brilliant flare of Fighting Spirit erupted.

The weapon, imbued with Fighting Spirit, unleashed astonishing Power.

A single slash severed half of the Iron-Eating Ant’s tusk.

The blade sliced into the Iron-Eating Ant’s mandibles, sending blood splattering everywhere.

The Iron-Eating Ant shrieked in pain.

"HISSSSSS!"

The group pressed their advantage, swarming it from the flanks.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

Under the group’s assault, the Tier One Iron-Eating Ant was gradually dismbered.

CRACK!

A sharp Magic Longsword pierced through the Iron-Eating Ant’s head, finishing it off.

After a bitter struggle, the group managed to kill the Tier One Iron-Eating Ant together.

RUSTLE RUSTLE RUSTLE!

The sound of skittering Iron-Eating Ants drew closer.

Everyone turned to look, their expressions twisting in horror.

Three more Tier One Iron-Eating Ants were closing in, surrounding them.

They had already given their all just to deal with a single Tier One Iron-Eating Ant.

Faced with an attack from three more, their lives hung by a thread.

Just as the group prepared to abandon their spoils and flee...

Suddenly, one of the Tier One Iron-Eating Ants collapsed.

With a great WHOOSH, it was dragged into the darkness.

Imdiately after, the sounds of crunching and chewing echoed from the shadows.

The group stared in the direction of the sound, their faces filled with terror.

’What was that? It instantly killed a Tier One Iron-Eating Ant.’

STOMP, STOMP, STOMP.

The Golden Anteater appeared in their line of sight.

It held a Tier One Iron-Eating Ant with a crushed head in its jaws.

The group looked on in panic.

"A Tier Two Magical Beast!"

CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH!

The Golden Anteater finished eating the Iron-Eating Ant’s head and dropped the carcass on the ground.

It looked at the group, and they all instinctively took a step back.

A figure erged from behind the Golden Anteater.

"Hello," Li Wei greeted them.

They stared at him, their faces filled with disbelief.

’How does he dare stand so close to a Magic Beast? Isn’t he afraid of dying?’

Soone in the group suddenly spoke up. "I rember now. I think I saw you in the camp. Are you a Summoner?"

Li Wei nodded. "I’m a Summoner traveling the world. My na is Timo."

Hearing this, everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"You scared to death! I thought we were done for!"

"Man, you’re incredible! To think you can control a Tier Two Magical Beast!"

"Stop chatting, you guys! It looks like there are more Iron-Eating Ants!"

Li Wei turned to look. In the distance, the blurry shapes of several more Tier One Iron-Eating Ants appeared.

At that height, there was no mistaking them.

"Timo, let’s go! Sothing’s not right here today. There are way more Tier One Iron-Eating Ants than usual!"

The group hastily retreated.

With Li Wei nearby, they were no longer worried about the Tier One Iron-Eating Ants in the distance.

Seemingly sensing that the Golden Anteater was their natural predator, the two remaining Tier One Iron-Eating Ants stopped a short distance away, not daring to approach.

Seeing this, the Golden Anteater extended its long tongue and plunged it into the body of the dead Iron-Eating Ant.

Its hollow tongue sprayed Super Acid Liquid, lting the Iron-Eating Ant’s internal organs.

With a loud SLURP, the Golden Anteater sucked its innards dry.

The innards of the Iron-Eating Ants were far richer and more nutritious than their exoskeletons.

Li Wei saw seven or eight Tier One Iron-Eating Ants approaching, followed by hundreds of densely packed Tier Zero Iron-Eating Ants.

"Ti to go."

The Shadow Attendant controlled the Golden Anteater’s body, turning it to leave.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

It swung its long tongue, sweeping aside the Iron-Eating Ants blocking the path.

THUMP THUMP THUMP!

The sound of Flowing Silver Stone hitting the ground echoed from the distance.

Li Wei turned to look and saw a swarm of Iron-Eating Ants carrying a massive piece of ore out of the Flowing Silver Stone Lake.

A corner of the ore shimred with a deep, silvery light.

’Taking a closer look... that’s a piece of Mithril!’

A huge chunk of Secret Silver Ore had appeared amidst the ant swarm.

Li Wei wasn’t the first to spot it.

Soone was closer to the Flowing Silver Stone Lake than he was.

Brad was stunned when he saw the massive Secret Silver Ore among the ant swarm.

Snapping back to his senses, he shouted without hesitation, "Charge!"
