It wasn’t a question, but a command.
If he didn’t surrender, Li Wei would personally send him out of the competition.
After much deliberation, Nick reluctantly accepted his defeat.

Nick gave Li Wei a deep look and said, "I’ll rember you."

Li Wei turned and disappeared on the spot.
He drank a bottle of Mana Recovery Potion, and his Mana slowly began to restore.
Using the Charged Fireball Skill twice had been a huge drain on his Mana.
His remaining Mana was low, and he needed to replenish it quickly.
"Shadow Attendant, keep watch."
Li Wei found a safe place to land and ditated to recover his Mana.
While ditating, he could clearly feel that the Fire Elent in the area was far more abundant than any other Elent.
He could absorb it much more quickly as well.
His Mana recovery speed increased significantly.

Russell, Savis, and Xiong Er.
For once, the three of them were not fighting each other, but were instead facing a common enemy.
Their enemy was a Tier Three Lava Giant.
The Fire Elental Elf summoned by Russell charged to the very front, taking the Lava Giant’s damage head-on.
The summoned Tier Two Fire Elental Elf had been prepared to ignore the intense heat surrounding the Lava Giant and was immune to most of its fla attacks.
Furthermore, it possessed the trait of being immune to physical attacks.
It had a huge advantage against the Lava Giant.
The advantage was limited to defense; offensively, the Tier Two Fire Elental Elf could only tickle the Tier Three Lava Giant.
The Lava Giant angrily smashed the Fire Elental Elf flat.
After its body was shattered, the Fire Elental Elf reford a short distance away and continued to pester the Lava Giant.
The Lava Giant didn’t understand. Why was the Fire Elental Elf attacking it?
They were supposed to be allies!
Savis continuously cast Ice Magic to weaken the Lava Giant’s Power.
A Tier Two Spell!
"Rapid Freeze Beam!"
An ice-blue Rapid Freeze Beam shot from Savis’s hand, continuously blasting the Lava Giant.
The lava flowing over the Lava Giant’s body began to solidify and blacken.
The Lava Giant’s movents also slowed sowhat.
Xiong Er grinned and took a fierce step forward.
A phantom of a Frost Giant Bear appeared behind him.
He threw a punch at the Lava Giant.
The Frost Giant Bear’s paw behind him swiped down at the Lava Giant.
BAM!
Its movents slowed, the Lava Giant failed to dodge in ti and was sent staggering back two steps by the blow.
Just as Xiong Er was about to attack again, the Lava Giant beca enraged.
"RAAAGH!"
The Lava Giant let out an angry roar as flas erupted from its entire body.
The flas collided with the Rapid Freeze Beam, instantly creating a thick cloud of white steam.
In the blink of an eye, the white mist was vaporized by the intense heat.
The Lava Giant raised its hands high. Searing hot lava flowed down its arms, transforming into a shower of teors that shot toward the three of them.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
Lava teor Shower!
The Lava Giant unleashed its ultimate move.
Russell’s expression changed slightly as he raised his Magic Staff.
The Magic was amplified by the staff, its power increasing by fifty percent.
"Fire Resistance Ring!"
WHOOSH!
A fiery ring quickly expanded outward.
It pushed away the falling lava teors.
The deflected lava teors landed on the ground, smashing out large craters.
Those that landed in the lava sent sparks flying everywhere.
There were too many lava teors; Russell couldn’t block them all.
Savis had no choice but to stop his Rapid Freeze Beam.
"Ice Wall!"
A semi-circular Ice Wall rose to envelop the three of them.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
Lava teors smashed into the Ice Wall one after another, leaving craters in it.
The high temperature of the lava teors also lted the Ice Wall.
DRIP. DRIP.
Water dripped onto the ground, only to be instantly evaporated by the hot surface.
By the ti all the lava teors had fallen, the Ice Wall had lted into a puddle on the ground.
The dust settled.
It revealed the massive silhouette of the Frost Giant Bear within their midst.
The three of them, working together, had barely blocked a single attack from the Lava Giant.
Russell, Savis, and Xiong Er all thought, ’This is bad.’
The Lava Giant’s Power was beyond their imagination.
The strategy of a direct assault on the Lava Giant seed unfeasible.
The Lava Giant was very likely a trap.
Killing the Lava Giant would award 1,000 Points.
It would be enough to almost secure victory.
But, if the Lava Giant really was a trap, then making the wrong choice would an forfeiting their chance at the championship.
Russell’s face was grim as he said, "This Lava Giant’s Power has already reached Tier Three High Level."
"There’s no way we can deal with it right now."
"If all ten of us worked together, we might have a chance."
"But now..."
If not for Russell’s Tier Two Fire Elental Elf keeping the Lava Giant occupied, a single charge from it could have probably taken out all three of them.
The Lava Giant’s combat power was just too strong.
「In the spectator stands outside」
Gu Ze sighed, "What a pity. The Lava Giant really is a trap."
"When I saw there was a Tier Three Lava Giant in the competition, I knew sothing had to be wrong."
"The contestants are mostly Tier One Mages, with only a handful of Tier Two Mages."

None of the spectators were optimistic that anyone could kill the Lava Giant.
After all, this was far beyond the limits of what Tiers One and Two Mages could handle.
If it were just a Tier Three Basic Level monster, perhaps they could have given it a try.
But as it happened, the Lava Giant’s Power was at Tier Three High Level.
A Tier One Mage probably wouldn’t even be qualified to join the fight.
They couldn’t even break through its defense.
The Lava Giant was a trap, through and through.
Russell, Savis, and Xiong Er had unfortunately stepped into this trap.
They had helped the audience outside see this point clearly.
