BOOM!
The volcano erupted.
Countless streams of lava shot into the sky, falling back down as a boundless rain of fire that engulfed the entire island.
Countless Magic Beasts scrambled to escape.
The remaining contestants also stared at the erupting volcano, their faces filled with terror.
They couldn’t understand. The competition had just begun, so why was the volcano already erupting?
Wasn’t the competition supposed to last for an entire day?
THUD THUD THUD!
Hordes of Magic Beasts fled the volcano in a mad dash as the rain of fire fell from the sky.
The contestants also faced an imnse challenge.
A single careless move could get them trampled under the iron hooves of the stampeding Magic Beasts.
Those with worse luck could be struck and killed on the spot by a falling teor of fire.
Li Wei, flying in midair, didn’t have to worry about the fire teors falling from the sky.
"Ah!"
A cry of alarm rang out.
Li Wei subconsciously turned his head to look.
ryl and Lilith were trapped on a rock, surrounded by flowing lava.
A teor of fire was plumting from the sky right toward their position.
They were in mortal danger.
Suddenly, a pillar of white light shot up into the sky in the distance.
Li Wei froze for a mont before realizing soone had chosen to withdraw from the Secret Realm.
It was impossible to know if they had withdrawn voluntarily or had been passively teleported out after encountering danger.
ryl looked up at the falling fire teor, her face panicked.
"We’re done for."
Lava was all around them; she and Lilith had no escape route.
Lilith looked up, her expression calm.
ryl gripped her Magic Staff, her expression grave. "Lilith, I’ll cast a spell to block the rain of fire. You withdraw from the Secret Realm first."
She began Casting.
The rain of fire fell faster than she had imagined.
To make matters worse,
A second torrent of lava burst from the volcano, surging down to subrge all the rocky highlands on the mountain.
The spot where the two of them stood would not be spared.
Even if they blocked the rain of fire from the sky, they couldn’t escape the rolling tide of lava.
ryl’s expression changed drastically. "Damn it, there’s no ti."
An abundance of shadows flowed from Lilith’s eyes, covering both of their figures.
WHOOSH! KABOOM!
The rain of fire fell, destroying the rock and smashing into the lava, sending a huge splash of molten rock flying.
A mass of shadows materialized at a safe location in the distance.
The shadows receded, revealing Lilith and ryl, both safe and sound.
Having escaped with her life, ryl breathed a sigh of relief.
At the sa ti, she looked at Lilith in complete astonishnt.
"What kind of Magic was that?"
Lilith didn’t answer her question.
She turned and glanced toward Li Wei’s position in the sky.
Lilith said, "You should go back first. It’s going to get dangerous."
Hearing this, ryl asked in surprise, "You’re not leaving?"
Lilith shook her head but didn’t speak.
Seeing this, ryl had no choice but to withdraw from the Secret Realm alone.
With the volcano now erupting, the Fire Elent in the air had beco extrely turbulent.
The other Elents near the volcano were significantly disrupted.
The power of Water Magic was reduced even further.
ryl could probably only exert sixty to seventy percent of her full strength.
With her power limited and the Secret Realm growing even more dangerous, ryl had no choice but to withdraw from the Secret Realm, ending her competition early.
"Withdraw from the Secret Realm."
As ryl voluntarily withdrew from the Secret Realm, her Points were locked at 60.
They would no longer change.
Lilith transford into a shadow and sped away, heading up the mountain against the torrent.
At the volcano’s crater, the trio of Russell, Xiong Er, and Savis were the unluckiest of all.
They had already left the crater by the ti the Lava Giant departed.
However, when the volcano erupted, they weren’t far from the crater.
The three of them faced the full might of the eruption head-on.
They were trapped on a high patch of ground near the crater.
They were surrounded by rivers of rolling lava and choking smoke that made it impossible to open their eyes.
"What do we do now?" Xiong Er asked.
If they withdrew from the Secret Realm now, the three of them would most likely end up in last place.
They had co straight for the Lava Giant and had barely hunted any Magic Beasts along the way.
"There are Fire Elental Elves over there!" Savis said, pointing to the right.
The others looked over and saw several Fire Elental Elves playing in the lava.
An idea struck Russell. "Let’s lure the Fire Elental Elves over and kill them. We can get at least a few hundred Points that way."
The three exchanged a look, feeling this was their only option.
Russell sent out his own Fire Elental Elf to mingle with the others and lure them nearby.
The unsuspecting Fire Elental Elves trusted their own kind and approached the trio.
Savis began Casting.
A Tier Two Ice Magic spell!
"Ice Chain!"
Chains of ice radiating a deep chill shot out, wrapping around the Fire Elental Elves.
It immobilized the several Fire Elental Elves on the spot.
The Ice Power continuously weakened the Power of the Fire Elental Elves.
Savis’s expression tightened. "Hurry up and attack! I can’t hold them for long!"
Ice Magic was suppressed to its absolute limit in this environnt.
The Ice Chain, which could normally trap a Tier Two High Level Magical Beast with ease, was now already on the verge of shattering after trapping the Fire Elental Elves for only a few seconds.
It could break at any mont.
Xiong Er shouted, "Leave it to !"
"Bear Dominates the World!"
A giant ice bear materialized behind him, radiating a bone-chilling aura as it viciously swiped a paw at the Fire Elental Elves.
The leader was a Tier Two Fire Elental Elf.
Facing Xiong Er’s attack, it roared and spat out a huge Fireball.
The Fire Elental Elves behind it followed its lead and quickly joined the attack.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
The Fireballs collided with the ice bear’s paw, creating a violent explosion.
A blast of frigid wind erupted, cooling the surrounding lava.
A mont later, the lava lted the frost again.
A Tier Two Ice Magic spell!
"Frost Nova!"
A Frost Nova exploded among the group of Fire Elental Elves.
The Tier One Fire Elental Elves were obliterated by the power of the Tier Two Spell.
"Shattering Ice Palm!"
A layer of frost condensed on the ice bear’s palm.
It swiped down once more.
After hitting the Tier Two Fire Elental Elf, layers of frost froze its body.
It forcefully froze a mass of fire into a block of ice.
It was an incredibly fantastical sight.
The next second, under imnse force,
the frozen Fire Elental Elf shattered along with the block of ice.
CRACK!
BANG!
The Fire Elental Elf’s body exploded.
Savis seized the opportunity to land the final blow, finishing off the Tier Two Fire Elental Elf.
All the Points went to Savis.
Xiong Er and Russell exchanged a look.
Russell said, "Savis, hand over your Points Card."
Savis cast an Ice Shield and shouted, "Withdraw from the Secret Realm!"
"Don’t even think about leaving!"
The ice bear swiped its paw, interrupting Savis’s withdrawal.
The three of them were on the verge of fighting amongst themselves.
Suddenly, a powerful aura appeared nearby.
The Lava Giant, wreathed in roaring flas, appeared before the three of them.
The expressions of Russell, Xiong Er, and Savis changed instantly.
The three of them shouted in unison, "Withdraw from the Secret Realm."
If they didn’t leave now, they would die here.
Three pillars of white light descended, enveloping their figures.
Just as they were about to withdraw, the three of them suddenly saw a figure appear in midair.
A dazzling, blinding sphere of light appeared in the air.
Li Wei held the Fire Spirit Pearl in one hand, continuously absorbing the Fire Elent from it to restore his Mana.
While simultaneously Casting the Charged Fireball Skill.
