Li Wei hovered in mid-air.
A blazing Fireball sat atop his shoulders.
He had mastered the ability of Half-Elentalization.
Li Wei, of course, wouldn’t waste it on just elentalizing his right arm.
Elentalizing a vital spot could drastically reduce his weaknesses.
Elentalizing his head was far more difficult than elentalizing his right arm.
The slightest mistake, and his head would explode, killing him instantly.
Only because he knew that dying in the Dream World wasn’t true death did he dare attempt to elentalize his head.
He had paid the price of his head exploding hundreds of tis to finally master the technique.
Once elentalized, Li Wei lost his senses of sight, sll, taste, and hearing.
But he gained the unique perspective of an Elental Elf.
Li Wei’s immunity to the Dream’s influence wasn’t simply because he no longer had a brain to be affected by ntal attacks.
It was mostly because his Elental Horizon was unaffected by the Dream.
Li Wei looked up as a black shadow rapidly approached.
The black shadow was wreathed in a black aura that resembled burning black flas, flaring up more than three ters high.
Through his Elental Horizon, Li Wei could see the black shadow’s face even less clearly.
He could, however, gauge the strength of the black shadow’s Power.
The black flas, over three ters high, represented its Power.
Red flas, over two ters high, burned around Li Wei.
His Level was lower than the black-robed figure’s.
As a Charged Fireball materialized in his hand, the flas enveloping him suddenly shot skyward, instantly transforming into a raging inferno five to six ters high.
The scorching heatwave seed capable of incinerating everything around it.
Li Wei threw the Fireball, and the flas around him instantly diminished, shrinking even smaller than usual.
WHOOSH!
The Fireball flew toward the black-robed figure.
The black-robed figure also knew that the Charged Fireball was imnsely powerful and couldn’t be taken head-on.
He channeled the Power of the Dream.
The Dream moved to extinguish the flas.
The Fireball’s light dimd and then went out.
Li Wei extended his right hand and cast the Illusion Technique.
Flas erupted from his palm, spreading outward until they finally ford a Fla Greatsword.
Ordinary Magic was no longer effective against the black-robed figure.
This was a battle in the Dream World.
Therefore, he had to use the Power of the Dream World.
Li Wei slashed out.
A bolt of Flaming Sword Qi shot forth.
The Flaming Sword Qi grew larger and larger, instantly becoming a wave of fire that seed to consu the entire world.
The wave of fire swept across the Dream.
The black-robed figure’s expression was indifferent. With a downward press of his hand, he channeled Dream Power to extinguish the fiery wave.
A mont later, his expression shifted slightly.
This Power unexpectedly shared the sa source as the Dream.
When he used Dream Power to alter the Dream, he felt a certain resistance.
His opponent was also using Dream Power.
However, the black-robed figure wasn’t worried.
He was the Lord of Dreams; within this Dream, his Power was inexhaustible.
There was no way Li Wei could hope to defeat him in a battle of attrition.
It would only lead to a stalemate until Li Wei’s Power was exhausted, and he would be slain in the Dream.
With a re thought from the black-robed figure, billowing black fog materialized within the Dream.
The black fog and the wave of fire clashed, grinding against each other, neither yielding as they vied for dominance.
Li Wei continuously drew Power from his Fire Spirit Pearl Necklace.
But he could feel his strength was not enough.
His expenditure of Power was far outpacing his recovery.
If this continued, he feared he would have no chance of victory.
Li Wei’s gaze sharpened, locking onto the black-robed figure within the fog.
He used the Illusion Technique to simulate the Charged Fireball Skill.
The power of this Illusory Fireball Technique was amplified dozens of tis over.
It was only effective against Dream Creations.
The Power within this Fireball Skill wasn’t an Elent, but Dream Power.
WHOOSH!
The wave of fire was losing montum.
After a brief struggle, it was extinguished and swallowed by the endless black fog.
Li Wei was also swallowed by the black fog, vanishing from sight.
The black-robed figure felt sothing dissolving within the black fog.
He chuckled softly, thinking Li Wei had foolishly overestimated his own strength.
’To think he dared enter my Dream and challenge directly.’
’He was practically asking to die.’
’He doesn’t even know the most basic principles of the Dream.’
The black-robed figure turned, preparing to leave.
Suddenly, a swirl of black fog beside him surged.
A figure shot out from the fog.
Li Wei, wreathed in the sa black fog, hurled a Super Fireball right in the black-robed figure’s face.
He gave him no chance to react.
BOOM!
A suicidal detonation!
The Super Fireball exploded, its terrifying power instantly engulfing the figures of both Li Wei and the black-robed man.
Their bodies were instantly annihilated within the Dream.
RUMBLE!
A fiery mushroom cloud rose hundreds of ters into the air.
The blast radius reached five hundred ters.
Even the pillar-of-flesh-shaped Mage Tower was caught in the blast.
A layer of black light materialized around the Mage Tower, withstanding the terrifying force of the explosion.
The light enveloped the entire Dream.
After a long while, the light faded, and the figures were nowhere to be seen.
It seed Li Wei and the black-robed figure had taken each other out.
Just then, a figure erged from the ground.
It was none other than Li Wei.
Li Wei felt the Shadow Attendant Return to his body and breathed a sigh of relief.
’Thank goodness the Shadow Attendant wasn’t destroyed in the blast.’
However, the explosion had still inflicted considerable damage on the Shadow Attendant.
It would need quite so ti to recover its Power.
Just before, Li Wei had deliberately allowed himself to be swallowed by the carpet of flesh.
He had used the Illusion Technique to disguise his Shadow Attendant, allowing it to rge with the black fog and beco a part of it.
For a Nightmare, this was not a difficult task.
These Black Cultists harnessed the Power of the Dream Fog.
Nightmares are born from the Dream Fog.
Their initial form is a shapeless mass of Dream Fog.
The Shadow Attendant had successfully approached the black-robed figure.
Once Li Wei received the Shadow Attendant’s signal, he decisively detonated the Super Fireball.
He had blown both the Shadow Attendant and the black-robed figure to smithereens, leaving not even a corpse behind.
Li Wei had succeeded.
The black-robed figure was dead.
The Dream World was on the verge of collapse.
Even if the black-robed figure wasn’t completely dead, with his body obliterated, it would take an imnse amount of ti for his consciousness to reform.
Now, the entire Dream was without a master.
Li Wei raised his Fla Greatsword and plunged it into the carpet of flesh.
The flas, created by his Illusion Technique, began to burn the entire Dream World.
"Burn! Be destroyed!"
"AHHHHH!"
As the carpet of flesh burned, it unexpectedly let out agonizing wails and screams.
The sounds were unbearably shrill.
It was as if real people were being burned to death.
Li Wei ignored the phantom sounds.
’This is a twisted Dream.’
’Everything is an illusion.’
The flas had already reached the Mage Tower, turning it into a giant, blazing torch.
With the Dream having lost its master, its Power was now uncontrolled.
Li Wei easily seized control of it.
He gave the Dream a single command.
Burn everything within it, until the Dream itself collapsed into nothingness.
Li Wei gazed at the burning Mage Tower, a look of worry in his eyes.
"I hope Teacher Gu Ze is all right."
Suddenly, all the flas were extinguished at once.
Li Wei’s head snapped up.
A colossal, black-and-red eye hung high in the air, staring down at him.
He had seen this eye before, outside the Dream.
It was the autonomous consciousness born from the twisted Dream.
A living Dream Bubble.
With the Dream Bubble on the verge of destruction and the black-robed figure’s consciousness too scattered to reform, the Dream’s autonomous consciousness had erged to save itself.
After absorbing the black-robed figure’s scattered consciousness, the Dream’s autonomous consciousness beca increasingly real and powerful.
It gradually took control of the Dream’s Power.
It could now control everything within the Dream as freely as Li Wei and the black-robed figure had.
Li Wei’s heart sank. ’This is bad.’
Fighting the Dream’s autonomous consciousness was the sa as fighting the entire Dream itself.
To kill it, he would have to destroy the Dream completely.
This was going to be far more difficult than dealing with the black-robed figure.
