After throwing the Super Fireball, Li Wei fled the cave at top speed.

BOOM!

The Super Fireball exploded inside the cave.

The narrow space amplified the terrifying force of the explosion.

Instantly, the dried corpses on the ground were reduced to ash.

A torrent of raging flas vented its remaining power through the only exit.

WHAM!

A powerful force slamd into Li Wei’s back. He gritted his teeth and pushed himself to go even faster.

WHOOSH!

As the flas erupted from the cave, Li Wei was carried out with them, soaring into the sky.

When Gu Ze saw a massive torrent of flas suddenly erupt from the cave, he shot to his feet, his expression one of utter shock.

"What happened?"

"Why did it just explode?"

Using the flas as cover, Li Wei remained undetected by Gu Ze.

Gu Ze’s eyes were fixed on the cave, so he never saw Li Wei shoot into the sky.

Finding an opportune mont, Li Wei descended, swapped places with his Illusory Body, and reappeared by Gu Ze’s side.

RUMBLE!

The mountain trembled. Boulders crumbled and earth slid down as the cave collapsed in on itself.

Gu Ze stared at the now-buried cave entrance and fell silent.

He didn’t know what to do.

They hadn’t even started fighting, and the enemy had been mysteriously blown to bits.

Even if the blast hadn’t killed them, they were now buried and crushed under the mountain.

Gu Ze said in frustration, "What do we do now? We still haven’t gotten any evidence against them."

Li Wei said, "I already have it."

He handed Gu Ze a mory Crystal with a portion of its contents removed.

Only the footage of the final Blood Sacrifice Ceremony remained; the scenes of the massacre had been deleted.

This alone was enough evidence of their cris.

Gu Ze stared at him, bewildered. "Where did you get this?" he asked.

Li Wei said, "Do you rember my Magic Servant?"

"I do."

"I had my Magic Servant sneak in ahead of ti and plant a mory Crystal."

Understanding dawned on Gu Ze’s face.

But there were still so things he couldn’t figure out.

"But you were right beside the whole ti. When did you retrieve the mory Crystal?"

Just as Li Wei was about to explain, his expression suddenly changed.

"Teacher, I don’t think this is over yet."

Gu Ze imdiately went on high alert.

Li Wei began Casting, enveloping Gu Ze in two layers of Invisible Armor.

The two of them stared tensely at the collapsed cave.

BAM!

Rocks were sent flying by a trendous force, and a figure completely cloaked in blood-red light walked out.

Li Wei recognized him at a glance: it was Lair.

"Lair!"

Li Wei called out his na.

Hearing the na, Gu Ze froze for a mont before it registered.

Lair heard the voice and turned to Li Wei, a look of surprise on his face.

He stared at Li Wei. "So it was you behind this!"

Lair let out a furious laugh. "Hahaha! Perfect timing. Now that you’re here, you’re not leaving. You can stay here forever!"

Everyone but him had died in the explosion.

He alone had absorbed the full Power of the Blood Sacrifice Ceremony, and it was now rampaging through his body, completely beyond his control.

Even if he made it out of here, he wouldn’t live for long.

Now that he had run into Li Wei, Lair’s mind was consud by a single thought: dragging Li Wei down to hell with him.

The whole reason he’d perford the Blood Sacrifice Ceremony was to catch up to Li Wei, surpass him, and defeat him.

Now, he was going to die because of Li Wei, and he would make damn sure Li Wei died with him!

Lair raised a hand, reaching for Li Wei.

The blood-red light around his body coalesced into a giant hand that shot toward Li Wei.

Li Wei raised a hand and fired a Fireball.

BANG!

The Fireball collided with the Blood Hand, blasting it to smithereens.

In less than three seconds, the Blood Hand reford and swatted down at Li Wei.

Li Wei’s eyes narrowed, his expression turning grave.

’Lair’s strength is terrifying.’

’The power of my Fireball Skill is comparable to a Tier Two Spell.’

’And even that couldn’t destroy the Blood Hand.’

’It’s clear that Lair’s power has likely reached the level of a Tier Three Professional.’

"Teacher, you keep him busy! I’ll handle the attack!"

Li Wei sprinted to the side, putting distance between himself and Gu Ze.

"Don’t think you can run!"

The Blood Hand shot out, stretching rapidly as it reached for Li Wei.

"Frost Freeze!"

CRACKLE!

A layer of white frost coated the Blood Hand. The ice spread rapidly toward Lair, enveloping his entire body in the blink of an eye.

Lair’s movents slowed considerably.

Li Wei spun around and launched several small Fireballs.

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!

Chain Fireball Technique!

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The small Fireballs struck the frozen Blood Hand, blasting it apart piece by piece.

Li Wei rubbed his hands together, and a Charged Fireball appeared in his palm.

He tossed the Fireball into the sky.

Once it reached a certain height, the Fireball vanished.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

Li Wei relentlessly bombarded Lair with his Chain Fireball Technique.

The blood-red light around Lair ford a barrier, blocking the attacks.

He was being completely suppressed, and his patience wore thin.

"Damn it, just die already!"

Lair roared in fury as the blood-red light around him flared.

He transford into a blood-colored monster over three ters tall.

Its hands shot out, grabbing both Li Wei and Gu Ze in the blink of an eye.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

The imnse Power crushed the Invisible Armor protecting them.

In just a mont, the first layer of Invisible Armor shattered.

WHOOSH!

A Fireball fell from the sky.

Lair sensed a blinding light above him and looked up.

A brilliant Fireball was descending.

At first glance, he thought it was the Sun.

Only when he saw the "Sun" rapidly expanding did he realize it was sothing else.

BANG! BOOM!

The Charged Fireball struck Lair right on the head.

The explosion created a Fireball over twenty ters in diater.

The Blood Hand gripping Li Wei and Gu Ze shattered, splattering to the ground as a pool of blood.

Gu Ze glanced around, then shot a suspicious look at Li Wei.

But seeing that Li Wei had been rescued at the sa mont he was, his suspicion vanished.

’Soone is helping us,’ Gu Ze thought.

Li Wei stared into the center of the explosion.

One hand behind his back, he was secretly forming another Fireball.

’If Lair isn’t dead, I’ll hit him with another one.’

WHOOSH!

A light breeze blew past.

The flas dissipated and the smoke cleared, revealing the scene within.

Lair had reverted to his human form. He lay on the ground, eyes shut tight, his body still steaming.

His body bore the Trace of severe burns.

He appeared to be dead.

Gu Ze was about to step forward, but Li Wei stopped him. "Don’t get close. Use Magic."

Hearing this, Gu Ze stopped in his tracks.

"Ice Cone Skill!"

Several Ice Cones struck Lair’s body.

The Ice Cones pierced his body. After ten-odd seconds, they were all stained red.

Seeing this, Gu Ze breathed a sigh of relief. "He’s dead."

Li Wei nodded and used his Object Control Skill.

High up on the mountain, a huge boulder shuddered and began to roll downhill.

RUMBLE!

The boulder tumbled straight toward Lair.

Lair’s eyes snapped open. His body dissolved into a bloody shadow and vanished.

SMASH!

The boulder crashed to the ground.

A bloody shadow lunged toward Li Wei.

"Li Wei!" Gu Ze cried out in alarm.

He hastily began to cast Magic, but the bloody shadow was too fast.

It was too late!

This was all of Lair’s remaining Power.

He was going to take Li Wei down with him.

Lair hadn’t expected his luck to be so rotten.

If that boulder hadn’t made its Fall right on top of him...

He could have waited until Li Wei and Gu Ze got closer, then killed them both in one fell swoop.

Now, he was forced to settle for killing just one of them.

Lair lunged in front of Li Wei, blood pouring from his eyes, nose, ears, and mouth—the very image of an Evil Ghost.

A savage grin spread across his face.

"Let’s die together!"

Li Wei silently brought his left hand forward from behind his back.

A Fireball was shoved right in Lair’s face.

Lair’s smile froze.

BOOM!

Flas engulfed them both.
